Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly impacted the education system, including within Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) institutions. Face recognition and computer vision are two major fields in artificial intelligence that are increasingly applied across industries and education. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to provide fundamental knowledge about how facial recognition and computer vision technologies work to students at MTS An-Nur Wangunjaya. The methods used include surveys, literature studies, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to tailor the material to students’ needs. The results of the program indicate a growing interest among students in technology and highlight the importance of early digital literacy development.

Abstract

Financial management is a fundamental aspect in maintaining the sustainability of MSMEs, especially amidst the demands of the modern digital era. This community service activity aims to improve the ability of MSME actors in ORKI Tangerang Selatan to manage finances effectively and adaptively to technological developments. The activity was carried out in the form of a two-day training that included basic financial education, cash flow recording simulations, and training in the use of simple financial applications. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed a significant increase in participant understanding. Most participants stated that they were ready to implement a digital financial recording system. This activity shows that an applicable and contextual education strategy is very effective in encouraging MSME actors towards professionalism and business sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

The threat of phishing and hoax-related cybercrimes spreading through social media platforms is becoming increasingly prevalent due to irresponsible individuals. Phishing is a fraudulent technique used to steal personal information, such as login credentials and financial data, by impersonating trusted entities. Meanwhile, hoax involve the spread of false information that can mislead the public and cause various negative impacts, such as panic, hatred, or manipulation of public opinion. Therefore, preventive measures are essential to protect individuals from potential cyberattacks. One such effort was carried out through a socialization activity on safe and wise use of social media at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mathla'ul Anwar. The primary goal was to educate and raise awareness among students about the dangers of phishing and hoaxes, so they can engage more responsibly online. The activity involved 25 participants and employed lecture and discussion methods. The results of the socialization showed a highly positive response from the participants. Based on a questionnaire distributed after the session, 32% of participants rated the activity as "good", while 68% rated it as "very good". Most of the students, who are active social media users, found the session helpful in increasing their awareness of cyber threats.

Di era globalisasi dimana teknologi, informasi, dan komunikasi (TIK) sangat cepat berkembang maka dunia pendidikan mengalami perubahan dalam pengelolaannya sebagai dampak dari tuntutan memanfaatkan teknologi. Perubahan dalam pembelajaran dan tuntutan melakukan inovasi menjadi hal penting yang harus dilakukan. Berbagai aplikasi tersedia dan dapat dimanfaatkan pendidik untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Aplikasi Microsoft word sangat penting digunakan diera digital ini, dimana Microsoft word ini baik digunakan untuk anak Sekolah Dasar hingga Perguruan Tinggi bahkan untuk pekerja sekalipun. Dengan penggunaan yang semakin diminati oleh beberapa kalangan baik dari sektor perkantoran maupun dunia pendidikan, Untuk itu dilaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema pelatihan Microsoft Word Lanjutan dari semester sebelumnya, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serta pemahaman adik-adik di Pesantren Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Daarul Hikmah dalam menggunakan Microsoft Word. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat berguna bagi para peserta untuk menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang aplikasi Microsoft Word. Pelatihan Microsoft word berguna untuk menunjang proses pendidikan di Pesantren Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Daarul Hikmah merupakan salah satu metode pembalajarn yang dapat meningkatkan hard skill bagi para pelajar terutama dalam mengoperasikan dan memanfaatkan Microsoft Word. Saat ini perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sangat pesat,peranannya dalam membantu masyarakat. Tak terkecuali untuk dunia pendidikan atau pembelajaran, dengan adanya teknologi yang semakin canggih para pendidik tidak lagi melakukan pembelajaran dengan cara menuliskan materi di papan tulis sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi membosankan. Luaran dari pengabdian kepada masyakat ini nantinya adalah publikasi artikel ilmiah berupa jurnal nasional.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology has become a key pillar across various aspects of life, including the world of work. Rapid developments in artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have driven significant changes in labor demands. However, a lack of understanding about careers in the technology industry and the gap between education and industry needs remain major challenges. Career awareness programs in the field of technology are essential to help individuals understand the diverse career opportunities, required skills, and existing challenges. The technology sector offers a wide range of professions such as software engineer, data scientist, cybersecurity analyst, and cloud engineer—each requiring specialized expertise. While the demand for technology professionals continues to rise, intense competition and rapid technological advancements demand continuous learning and adaptability. Key challenges in this industry include high work pressure, cybersecurity regulations, and maintaining a work-life balance. Therefore, beyond technical skills, time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities are also crucial. Collaboration among educational institutions, government, and industry is necessary to provide relevant insights and training that prepare the workforce for future demands. This community service program aims to enhance public understanding of technology-related professions, equip participants with essential digital skills, and assist them in designing effective career strategies. Through this approach, more individuals are expected to seize opportunities in the tech industry and contribute to innovations that benefit society.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to introduce the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and facial recognition systems to students of SMK Fajar Ciseeng. With the rapid advancement of technology, understanding AI and its implementation has become increasingly important, especially for secondary school students as the next generation in the digital era. The methods used in this activity include interactive material delivery, educational video presentations, facial recognition system simulations, and Q&A sessions. Students were provided with fundamental knowledge about how AI works, its benefits in daily life, and the application of facial recognition systems in various fields, such as security and education. The results of this activity show that students demonstrated high enthusiasm and were able to grasp the basic concepts of AI and the working mechanism of facial recognition systems. The outcome of this program is expected to foster students’ interest in the field of information technology and encourage schools to begin integrating AI-based technology learning into the curriculum.

Abstract

In the digital era, data security is a major concern, especially in the education sector which stores sensitive information about students and institutions. One of the biggest threats to data security is ransomware attacks, a type of malware that encrypts the victim's data and demands a ransom payment for recovery. These attacks have become a serious threat to schools and educational institutions due to weak security systems and lack of user awareness of cyber threats. This service aims to introduce the concept of ransomware, analyze its impact on student data security, and identify effective steps to prevent such attacks in educational environments. The socialization methods used include literature studies, analysis of ransomware attack cases on educational institutions, and prevention strategies that can be implemented by schools and educators. The results of the study show that ransomware can cause data loss, operational disruption, and significant financial losses for educational institutions. Therefore, increasing awareness and education about cybersecurity is a very important step. In addition, implementing preventive measures such as regular data backups, using up-to-date security software, and training educators and students on good digital security practices can help reduce the risk of ransomware attacks. With this service, it is hoped that SMK Panti Karya will be more prepared in facing ransomware threats and be able to implement better security strategies to protect student data.

Abstract

Di era digital, pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pendidikan semakin berkembang untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan interaktif. Namun, belum semua institusi pendidikan, termasuk SMA Al-Kautsar Parungpanjang, memiliki pemahaman dan kesiapan dalam mengadopsi teknologi ini secara optimal. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya literasi kecerdasan buatan di kalangan guru dan siswa, serta keterbatasan strategi dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi kecerdasan buatan ke dalam kurikulum pembelajaran. Program ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan memberikan pemaparan materi mengenai kecerdasan buatan dalam pendidikan, serta menyelenggarakan pelatihan bagi siswa dan guru dalam memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran. Program ini akan mencakup pemahaman dasar tentang kecerdasan buatan, penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan dalam proses belajar mengajar, serta  pelatihan kecerdasan buatan yang dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan oleh sekolah. Selain itu, akan dirancang strategi implementasi kecerdasan buatan di SMA Al-Kautsar Parungpanjang, sehingga sekolah memiliki panduan dalam mengadopsi teknologi ini ke dalam sistem pembelajarannya. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan SMA Al-Kautsar Parungpanjang dapat lebih siap dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital serta mengoptimalkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Program ini juga dapat menjadi model bagi sekolah lain yang ingin mengimplementasikan kecerdasan buatan sebagai bagian dari inovasi dalam pendidikan. Luaran utama dari kegiatan ini mencakup publikasi ilmiah di jurnal nasional. Selain itu, sebagai manfaat bagi SMA Al-Kautsar Parungpanjang, program ini diharapkan menghasilkan pelatihan kecerdasan buatan bagi siswa dan guru, pelatihan kecerdasan buatan agar bisa digunakan secara berkelanjutan, rancangan strategi implementasi kecerdasan buatan di SMA Al-Kautsar untuk mendukung sekolah dalam mengadopsi kecerdasan buatan ke dalam kurikulum.

Abstract

Cooperatives play a strategic role in strengthening the people's economy, especially when run based on sharia principles that prioritize justice, transparency, and blessings. This community service activity aimed to provide education and assistance in implementing a sharia financial system at the Daarut Tauhid Community Economic Empowerment Cooperative, held on April 19–20, 2025. The activity methods included counseling, training, simulations, and the development of a draft SOP for sharia finance. The results of the activity demonstrated a significant increase in the understanding of cooperative administrators and members regarding sharia financial concepts and practices, including basic skills in recording sharia transactions and a commitment to institutional transformation. This activity confirmed that with a contextual educational approach, community-based cooperatives have the potential to transform into superior and sustainable sharia microfinance institutions. Follow-up efforts in the form of further training, SOP refinement, and system digitization are needed to ensure the comprehensive and effective implementation of sharia finance.

Abstract

Low levels of financial literacy remain a challenge in personal financial management, including among cooperative members. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to improve the financial literacy of members of the Daarut Tauhid Community Empowerment Cooperative through an educational approach based on Islamic values. The program involved training, simulations, and group discussions involving 40 active participants. Pre- and post-test results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of financial planning, debt management, and the importance of financial record-keeping. An educational module was also developed as a practical guide for participants. This activity encouraged the formation of financial study groups as a form of program sustainability. In conclusion, community-based financial literacy education and spiritual values are effective in encouraging changes in wiser and more sustainable financial behavior.
