Abstract

Introduction to computer technology and basic networking is a crucial step in enhancing students' knowledge, particularly at SMP MKGR Sepatan. With rapid technological advancement, understanding hardware, software, and computer networks has become essential for preparing young generations to face workforce challenges. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of teaching computer technology and basic networking in improving students' knowledge. Through a tailored curriculum and interactive learning, students are expected to grasp fundamental concepts of computer networks, computer operations, and troubleshooting common system issues. The findings indicate that introducing basic computer technology and networking not only enhances students' technical skills but also fosters a positive attitude toward information technology, which can be applied both in daily life and the professional world. Therefore, integrating computer technology and basic networking into the curriculum at SMP MKGR Sepatan is vital in preparing students for the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology compels companies to continuously adapt by developing information systems that are both efficient and responsive to dynamic business needs. Low-code platforms have emerged as an alternative solution that accelerates system development without requiring extensive programming skills. This study aims to evaluate the advantages and limitations of low-code platforms in the context of enterprise information system development. The research employs a combination of literature review, observations of implementations in several companies, and interviews with IT practitioners. The evaluation results indicate that low-code platforms offer several strengths, including faster development times, easier integration, and enhanced collaboration between technical and non- technical teams. However, certain limitations were also identified, such as constraints in handling complex customizations, risks of vendor lock-in, and challenges related to scalability and data security management. Therefore, the adoption of low-code platforms should be strategically considered based on the specific needs and complexity of the systems being developed.

Abstract

The advancement of technology demands that the younger generation possess strong digital skills, including in managing school organizations. This Community Service Activity (PkM) aims to enhance digital literacy and improve the operational efficiency of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) through Microsoft Excel training at SMP Negeri 3 Teluknaga. This activity is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program at Universitas Pamulang. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, focusing on financial management, schedule planning, and OSIS membership administration. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students' understanding and skills in using Excel for organizational needs. In addition to providing practical benefits, the training also lays the foundation for a smarter, more transparent, and data-driven organization. This activity is expected to be a starting point in realizing a "Smart OSIS" that is efficient and adaptive to the demands of digitalization in the educational environment.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to introduce the basics of website development using HTML to students of SMA Gita Kirtti 3 South Jakarta. The lack of students' understanding of the basic structure of web pages is the background to this activity. Through a learning by doing approach, training is carried out in the form of direct practice in creating HTML-based profile pages. The evaluation results show an increase in students' interest and understanding of basic web technology. This activity is expected to be an initial foundation for improving digital literacy in high school environments.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has greatly influenced the education sector, especially in the integration of digital literacy from an early age. This community service activity introduces basic computer literacy and Microsoft Word to 4th-grade students at SDN 3 Tanjung Lago, Banyuasin. The aim is to enhance students' skills and confidence in using technology to support learning in the digital era. The method used includes interactive lectures, demonstrations, group practice, and individual tasks. Despite limitations in infrastructure and students' initial knowledge, the activity received a positive response from both students and teachers. The result shows that students demonstrated increased enthusiasm and basic proficiency in operating computers and Microsoft Word. The activity is expected to be sustainable as a foundation for developing 21st-century skills in rural elementary school students.

Abstract

The socialization of specialist knowledge data is an important initiative in educating the public about the prospects and opportunities offered by the role of data specialists in the digital era. In the midst of the development of information and communication technology, data has become a valuable asset for organizations and individuals. In this context, data specialists are expected to be able to process, analyze and interpret data to help make more effective decisions. The digital era brings new challenges where the volume of data generated is getting bigger, complexity is increasing and the speed of data processing is becoming more critical. This socialization covers various aspects, from basic understanding of data, technical analysis, to the application of the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. By increasing awareness of the importance of data, it is hoped that the public can recognize career opportunities in this field, and understand how data can be used to solve social, economic and environmental problems. In addition, this socialization aims to encourage collaboration between professions to produce innovative solutions that can be utilized by various sectors. Through a structured socialization program, skills and knowledge in the field of data are expected to be widely disseminated, increasing the competitiveness of individuals and organizations in facing global challenges. Thus, the role of data specialists will become increasingly vital in shaping a better and more sustainable future in the digital era.

Abstract

The increasing intensity of climate change has triggered a rise in the frequency and impact of hydrometeorological disasters in Indonesia, such as floods, droughts, and forest fires. This condition demands the strengthening of community capacity in understanding and anticipating disaster risks. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to educate the people of Ciomas District, Bogor Regency, about hydrometeorological disaster mitigation and the introduction of Weather Modification Technology (WMT) as an adaptive solution. The implementation methods included seminars, counseling sessions, interactive discussions, and evaluations through pre-tests and post-tests. The results show that the majority of participants came from civil servants and village apparatus (48%), with 83% stating that the material was easy to understand. A significant increase in understanding was recorded from pre-test to post-test, indicating effective material delivery. Additionally, participants expressed high enthusiasm for utilizing technology in disaster management, particularly WMT. These findings reinforce the importance of continuous dissemination of disaster information through information technology to the public. This activity contributes positively to building community preparedness in facing climate change and supports collaboration between academia, government, and the public in scientific-based disaster mitigation strategies. In the future, further assistance is needed to encourage the local implementation of adaptive technologies.

Abstract

The pupose pf this community service activity is to provide sounseling on the Strategy for Building Personal Branding in the Digital Era for Local MSME at ORKI (Indonesian Fitness Sport) Sputh Tangerang City. The methods use in this program include counseling, training and direct assistance to participants. MSME actors are given material on the importance of personal branding, how to create interesting content, and digital marketing strategies to increase customer reach and engagement.in addition, the are also taught how to manage interactions with the audience professionally and build trust through testimonials and customer experiences. Participants are members of the ORKI Community, totaling 24 participants. The result of this activity show an increase in participants understanding in building a stronger business identity. Local MSME actors have begin to apply various branding strategies that have been taught, such as consistency in the use of logos, colors, and communication styles on various digital platforms. In addition, they are also more active in utilizing social media as a means of promotion and interaction with customers. The output of this activity is an accredited journal which can later be used as a reference for various parties.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap ancaman spyware sebagai salah satu bentuk serangan siber yang kerap tidak disadari. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi interaktif yang mencakup penjelasan mengenai cara kerja spyware, dampak yang ditimbulkan terhadap privasi dan keamanan data pribadi, serta langkah-langkah mitigasi yang dapat diterapkan oleh masyarakat dalam kehidupan digital sehari-hari. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pentingnya menjaga keamanan perangkat dan perilaku digital yang aman. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membentuk budaya sadar keamanan informasi di kalangan masyarakat umum.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance innovation in the learning process by utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology at SMPN 1 Pagedangan. In today's digital era, the use of AI in education offers a more personalized, adaptive, and interactive learning experience. However, the understanding of this technology among teachers and students remains relatively low. Therefore, through this program, the community service team conducted a series of activities including workshops, training, and mentoring sessions designed to introduce the basic concepts of AI and its application in the educational context. The materials presented covered topics such as AI fundamentals, the creation of simple educational chatbots, and the use of AI-powered applications to support teaching and learning processes. The implementation method combined both theoretical and practical approaches in an interactive format. The results indicated an improvement in the participants' understanding and enthusiasm towards AI technology. Additionally, participants were able to apply AI in simple forms to support daily classroom learning activities. This initiative not only provided new knowledge but also improved digital literacy and encouraged innovation in learning methods. The program is expected to serve as an initial implementation model for other schools in adopting AI in education. Thus, the use of AI can be further expanded and optimized to support the transformation of education in the digital age
