Abstract

Cooperatives play a vital role in building the people's economy, yet many cooperatives face challenges in human resource (HR) management. This community service program aims to optimize the role of HR in improving the performance and sustainability of the Daarut Tauhid Community Empowerment Cooperative. The method used was a participatory approach through competency mapping, managerial training, and mentoring in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs). The results of the activity demonstrated an increased understanding of managerial roles, improved organizational communication, and management initiatives in improving work systems. This activity reinforces the importance of the human capital approach and the Resource-Based View (RBV) in cooperative development. It is hoped that cooperatives can continue to develop their HR independently to achieve more optimal and sustainable performance.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve the capacity of the management and staff of the Daarut Tauhiid Ummat Empowerment Cooperative (KOPMU-DT) in managing human resources through an HR audit approach. To date, partner cooperatives have not had a structured and well-documented HR audit system, resulting in HR management not running optimally in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. The training was conducted face-to-face for two days by a team of lecturers from the Management Study Program at Pamulang University, and attended by participants consisting of management, managerial staff, and cooperative HR personnel. The training materials included an understanding of the basic concepts of HR audits and their urgency for organizational effectiveness, the process of developing audit instruments relevant to the cooperative's needs, practical simulations of HR audit implementation, and analysis of simulation results to formulate data-based strategic recommendations. The evaluation results showed a 45 percent increase in participant understanding as measured by pre- and post-tests. In addition, all participants demonstrated active participation throughout the activity. One important achievement of this activity is the beginning of the formation of cooperative managerial awareness to gradually compile and develop an internal HR audit system, as part of the process of improving the organizational structure and data-based decision-making. The concrete output of this activity is an HR audit instrument template tailored to the cooperative context, as well as an audit simulation report that can serve as an initial reference for implementing a sustainable HR audit system.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was carried out by lecturers from the Bachelor of Management Program at Universitas Pamulang as a tangible contribution to strengthening cooperative institutional governance. The main objective of the program was to enhance the managerial capacity of the board members of the Koperasi Pemberdayaan Ummat Daarut Tauhiid (KOPMU-DT) through an intensive training focused on the four fundamental management functions: Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC). The activity was conducted in person over two days, on April 19–20, 2025, at DT Peduli Banten Branch Office, Tangerang Selatan. Participants included cooperative board members, managers, and staff. The training methods used included interactive lectures, case studies, cooperative work plan simulations, and structured group discussions. These approaches were chosen to provide both theoretical understanding and practical, context-based skills. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, participants' understanding of cooperative management functions increased by 40%. Active engagement was observed throughout the sessions. Feedback collected via questionnaires and closing discussions showed that 90% of participants found the training highly beneficial and applicable, and it encouraged them to adopt more professional governance practices. Participants also proposed follow-up actions such as regular technical assistance and the development of digital systems to strengthen internal control functions.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to enhance the understanding and skills of the management and members of KOPMU-DT in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for digital marketing. Through an interactive training program, participants were introduced to the basic concepts of AI, practical applications in marketing, and the use of tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Google Analytics, and Meta Ads. The implementation method consisted of five main stages: (1) conducting observations and needs assessments through interviews and preliminary surveys; (2) developing training modules based on identified needs; (3) delivering a two-day workshop using interactive lectures, case studies, hands-on simulations with AI tools, and group discussions; (4) post-training mentoring sessions to assist participants in formulating AI-based digital marketing strategies; and (5) evaluating the program through pre-tests, post-tests, and participant satisfaction surveys. The results indicated a significant improvement in participant comprehension based on the pre-test and post-test scores. Over 85% of participants demonstrated increased knowledge and understanding of AI applications in digital marketing. Furthermore, participants were able to develop at least two AI-based digital marketing campaigns and gained an introductory understanding of CRM and chatbot implementation as part of the cooperative's digital strategy. The outcomes of this program include: (1) a training module on “Utilizing AI for Digital Marketing,” (2) two AI-based digital marketing campaigns developed by participants, (3) an evaluation report based on pre-test and post-test results, (4) measurable improvement in cooperative HR capacity through impact surveys, and (5) documentation of the program, including attendance lists, photos, and participant testimonials.

Abstract

Sigapiton Village, located in the Ajibata District of Toba Regency, North Sumatra, is situated on the shores of Lake Toba and covers an area of 70.80 km² (BPS, 2018). The village possesses various potentials that can be developed from both human and natural resources. The objective of the KPPM UHKBPNP group's work program in Sigapiton is to create resting areas for the residents, allowing them to take a moment to rest while engaging in their activities.

Abstract

The ability to use data processing software such as Microsoft Excel is an important skill that all students should acquire—including those studying in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). However, limited access to technology training in many pesantren has led to a situation where most santri only understand the basic functions of Microsoft Excel. This community service program was designed to improve the santri's advanced Excel skills at Pondok Pesantren Tahfizh Al-Qur’an Daarul Hikmah in Ciputat, South Tangerang. The focus was on supporting administrative data management within the pesantren. The training method combined interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on practice with advanced Excel formulas such as IF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, and SUMIF, as well as the use of data visualization tools. To evaluate learning outcomes, we used questionnaires and direct observation to assess participants’ understanding and practical skills. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ ability to use advanced Excel features effectively. They also demonstrated increased confidence and efficiency in managing administrative data. Notably, the number of participants exceeded expectations, with strong engagement throughout the sessions. Beyond skill development, the training raised awareness among santri about the importance of mastering digital tools as a critical asset for their future careers. In conclusion, the program proved to be an effective model for technology-based empowerment in pesantren settings. It is hoped that this initiative will continue in the future to reach a wider and more lasting impact.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to improve members' skills in utilizing digital marketing to increase sales of MSME products. The method of implementation is counseling on the use of digital marketing as an alternative means of marketing MSME products. The partners for this program are community-based organizations engaged in sports and fitness in South Tangerang. The evaluation instrument used pre-tests and post-tests, which were then analyzed descriptively. The results of this program indicate a 65% increase in members' knowledge of digital marketing for cooperatives and a 35% increase in their knowledge of the stages of using digital marketing to establish a cooperative. Furthermore, participants are motivated to improve their family's income by increasing sales of their MSME products through digital marketing.

Abstract

This research and training aims to improve basic understanding and skills in using Microsoft Word for students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Mathla'ul Anwar with the Human Computer Interaction (HCI) approach. Based on initial findings, most students have a low level of digital literacy and minimal experience in using computers. Therefore, the training was designed with a gradual and practical approach that prioritizes a simple interface, direct feedback, and a non-intimidating learning atmosphere. The implementation method was carried out through five sessions, starting from an introduction to computers and the Microsoft Word interface, to independent practice in compiling documents. Evaluation was carried out through observation, assessment of practical results, and interviews with students and accompanying teachers. The results of the training showed that 80% of students were able to compile simple documents independently, understand the basic functions of the application, and show increased motivation and self-confidence. The conclusion of this activity is that the application of the HCI principle significantly increases the effectiveness of Microsoft Word learning for madrasah students. HCI not only helps from the technical side, but also from the affective and psychological side of students, creating a positive, adaptive, and empowering learning experience. This training is an important first step in bridging the digital skills gap in religious education environments.

Abstract

Utilization of digital media such as social media, websites, or other online promotional platforms can be used to expand an organization's community coverage and expand its marketing network. Digital marketing is a marketing strategy that uses digital channels to reach consumers, build brand awareness, and increase sales conversions. The aim of this Community Service is to provide ORKI community members with the skills to become entrepreneurs through digital business and be able to carry out digital marketing strategies. The methods applied are lectures, demonstrations, documentation, sharing, questions and answers, discussions and practice creating marketing content. The results obtained were that the "digital marketing" training made it easier for participants to use social media as a marketing tool and increase their skills in increasing their business income effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The development of digital technology brings many benefits; however, it also presents serious challenges, one of which is the increasing access and involvement of adolescents in online gambling practices. Online gambling often disguises itself in the form of games or applications that appear harmless, making students vulnerable to being trapped without realizing it. Therefore, digital education and literacy are essential to be introduced from an early stage, particularly in secondary education environments. The Community Service Program (PKM) carried out by lecturers and students of Universitas Pamulang aims to raise awareness and enhance the understanding of students at SMK Bintang Nusantara regarding the dangers of online gambling and the technology behind it. The socialization activities were conducted through interactive seminars, discussions, educational video screenings, and real case studies. In addition to delivering information about the psychological, social, and academic consequences, the program also equipped students with technical knowledge about technological methods such as VPNs, masking applications, and illegal websites. The results of the program showed an increase in students’ understanding of the risks of irresponsible internet use, as well as greater active participation during question-and-answer sessions. Support from the school, teachers, and parents also became an important indicator of the program’s success. It is expected that similar activities can be carried out sustainably and integrated as part of the school’s digital literacy program.
