Abstract

The concept of work effectiveness is basically designed to assess the work results achieved in accordance with a predetermined plan, at the discretion of the individual, or in other terms, to realize certain goals; thus, when these conditions are met, it is categorized as effective. This study describes the effectiveness of civil service in the Shipping Sector of the West Java Provincial Transportation Service. The methodological framework used in this study requires a comprehensive examination of the existing literature (library research). The data collection process is carried out through a comprehensive library study. Such library studies involve the aggregation of pre-existing data, followed by a critical analysis of the conclusions drawn from each source, which are then used as literature and reference materials for the purpose of understanding and analyzing the study. The findings of the current empirical investigation indicate that there are 3 aspects seen in the effectiveness of civil service in improving public services, namely the time factor, the accuracy factor and the service delivery style factor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kepemilikan institusional terhadap nilai perusahaan pada sektor consumer non-cyclical di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan analisis regresi data panel, studi ini menelusuri hubungan antara kepemilikan institusional, ukuran perusahaan, harga saham, dan nilai perusahaan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan institusional tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, yang mengindikasikan peran yang cenderung pasif dari investor institusional dalam praktik tata kelola perusahaan. Sebaliknya, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif, sementara harga saham berpengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya mendorong keterlibatan aktif dari investor institusional serta memperkuat kerangka regulasi guna meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas perusahaan.

Abstract

The growing phenomenon of Solo Women Traveling in recent years reflects a shift in tourism dynamics. This study employs a literature review method, collecting data from various journals, articles, and other relevant sources to explore the motivations and experiences of solo women travelers in making the decision to travel alone. The primary motivations identified include the pursuit of freedom, independence, self-development, escape from routine, and the achievement of new life perspectives. Solo travel experiences for women often provide opportunities for introspection, enhanced self-confidence, and empowerment through cultural interactions and the management of unique challenges. However, such journeys also present various risks, including safety concerns and gender-based stereotypes. This study highlights the importance of more inclusive support systems and gender-sensitive safety measures in tourism to enhance the comfort and satisfaction of female travelers. The findings offer valuable insights for the development of more inclusive and women-friendly tourism strategies.

Abstract

Work demands affect employee compliance in the work environment. The varying age of employees also influence employee compliance in the workplace. The appropriate rewards for employees from management/owners also play a role in employee compliance. With good employee compliance, the company/clinic can meet its business objectives effectively. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the effect between work demands and age on employee compliance, mediated by rewards as the mediating variable. The research conducted at clinic X in Cirebon Regency with a population of 40 people. The sampling technique used is total sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in a sample size of 28 respondents. This type of research is observational quantitative research. Data analysis using linear regression and mediation testing with prior validity and reliability tests. The results of the study show a significant effect of work demands on employee compliance, however there is no significant effect between work demands and age on employee compliance with reward as a mediating variable.The importance of management implementing communicative and participative leadership, fair and transparent rewards and team based work programs.

Abstract

Geopolitical instability can having a significant impact on stock markets, including in Indonesia. The researcher’s study aims to finding about differences in stock performance between Israel-affiliated companies and non-Israel companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the context of geopolitical issues. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a comparative analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test. Yahoo Finance provided secondary data on the daily stock returns of selected companies. The outcome indicate that there is a significant difference between stock returns between Israel-affiliated and non-Israel companies, with a significance value of 0.020 (< 0.05). These findings suggest that investors in the IDX respond differently to geopolitical issues based on company affiliation. Geopolitical factors can be an essential element in investment decision-making in the Indonesian stockmarket. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of remote work conditions on the performance of live streaming hosts on TikTok in West Java Province, with gender as a moderating variable. The research addresses how the shift to remote work influences host productivity, especially in a digital platform setting. Using a quantitative approach and PLS-SEM analysis, data were collected from 384 active TikTok hosts. The findings indicate that remote work conditions significantly improve host performance. However, gender moderates this relationship, particularly for female hosts who often experience greater domestic responsibilities. These findings highlight the importance of gender-sensitive policies and effective remote work management to enhance performance and well-being among digital platform workers.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality and brand image on purchase decisions among consumers at the Mixue outlet in Kopo TKI III Bandung branch. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 application. A total of 359 respondents were selected using accidental sampling from consumers who had previously made purchases at the Mixue Kopo TKI III Bandung outlet. The results show that product quality has a significant effect on purchase decisions, as does brand image. Simultaneously, product quality and brand image significantly influence consumers' purchase decisions. The research variables contribute 75.6% to the model, while the remaining variance is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee productivity in the nursing division of Rumah Sakit (RS) Rumah Sehat Terpadu (RST) Dompet Dhuafa Bogor. The research employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verification approach, involving 126 respondents from a population of 185 nursing staff. Data collection utilized structured questionnaires with a 5-point Likert scale, while data analysis employed multiple linear regression techniques. The findings revealed that transformational leadership demonstrated a positive and significant impact on employee productivity with a contribution of 32.1%, while organizational culture contributed 20.9%. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced employee productivity with a combined contribution of 53.1%. The idealized influence dimension scored highest in transformational leadership, while team orientation emerged as the strongest aspect of organizational culture. Employee productivity showed good performance overall, particularly in work enthusiasm. The study concludes that effective leadership practices and supportive organizational culture are crucial determinants in enhancing nursing productivity. Organizations should focus on strengthening transformational leadership development programs and cultivating employee-oriented cultural practices to optimize workforce performance in healthcare settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial technology (fintech) utilization on the profitability of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021-2023. This financial technology utilization is seen from the use of mobile banking technology, while banking company profitability is seen from the Return on Assets (ROA) generated by the banking company. This study uses a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 3 banking companies. Data collection techniques used by the researcher were documentation and literature study. The data used are secondary data, namely annual reports listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and sustainability reports containing data needed for 2021-2023. The results of this study indicate that the use of mobile banking technology has a positive and significant effect on bank profitability as measured by Return on Assets (ROA).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran kepatuhan staf klinis dalam penguatan budaya keselamatan pasien, khususnya melalui penerapan Surgical Safety Checklist (SSC) di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pasar Rebo. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas peran kepatuhan staf klinis terhadap implementasi SSC sebagai bagian dari budaya keselamatan pasien. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM), khususnya teori budaya organisasi dan kepatuhan. Meskipun hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai dinamika kepatuhan dan budaya keselamatan pasien di RSUD Pasar Rebo, sifat studi kasus membatasi generalisasi temuan. Oleh karena itu, direkomendasikan untuk melakukan penelitian serupa dengan skala yang lebih luas di berbagai rumah sakit untuk mencapai kesimpulan yang lebih umum. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya memadukan ilmu kepatuhan dengan disiplin ilmu lain seperti manajemen, komunikasi, identifikasi risiko, serta analisis masalah dan penyelesaian masalah untuk memperkuat budaya keselamatan pasien yang berkelanjutan.
