Abstract

Every place or region must have hidden assets or potential which if used will have a huge impact on a place or region. The potential which is also an asset can be used to develop various sectors that support the development and quality improvement of a place or region, as well as the Alhamdulillah Berbaur Islamic Boarding School. However, in reality, most of these assets or potentials have not been developed properly, so it is very necessary to provide guidance or assistance in developing these assets by building a special community to learning English and Arabic. The purpose of this mentoring program is to develop the linguistic potential of the students of the Alhamdulillah Berbaur Islamic Boarding School, which in this case are Arabic and English which have not been well developed so far, this mentoring itself will focus on improving soft skills or basic Arabic and English skills. Through an asset-based community development approach or known as the ABCD Method, potential exploration can be carried out optimally by paying attention to various related aspects, which are then expected after the mentoring program ends the participants can become pioneers in establishing a conducive and productive Arabic and English environment. Disclosure of hidden assets using observation and interview methods reflects the ideals of Islamic boarding school managers and caregivers to graduates who have skills in communication in foreign languages to prepare themselves to become community leaders in the era of globalization

Abstract

Humans as religious beings, God supplies humans with the pleasure of thinking, feeling confused, anxious and indecisive to learn and understand the natural surroundings as a balance in feelings of doubt and fear. This is what drives people to seek strength that can protect and guide them in Islamic spirituality so that they can become motivation in critical times. Religious encouragement should be fulfilled so that the human person will get a satisfaction and peace of mind. Therefore, in PAUD Wildani and SDI Ghilmani Schools, they facilitate infrastructure in the form of Majlis Ta'lim which aims to deepen religion so that they can become Islamic spiritual companions for the parents of students and the surrounding community.

Abstract

The conditions in the field show that so far the utilization and management of rural resources is mostly done by men, starting from activities in agriculture, animal husbandry, small and medium industries, cooperatives, and other activities that are economic in nature. In fact, in society, women also have the right to use or manage existing resources in the village, although not completely like men. Therefore, it is necessary to have various activities that can be implemented for women in order to improve the family economy by utilizing and managing the surrounding environment. One of the programs that can be implemented by women in an effort to improve the family's economy, especially in the food sector is the Vegetable Plant Utilization (KANGKUNG) program. The purpose of this service is to improve the family's economy through an empowerment program for housewives in processing kale that is practical and minimalist in its manufacture. the method used is the ABCD method. So that the community can take advantage of existing assets in the surrounding environment to improve the family economy. In practice, how to process kangkung plants so that they become snacks and healthy. In its implementation there are several stages, namely analyzing problems, preparing program planning, program implementation and program evaluation. So the result of the mentoring program is that it has a significant impact on the community.

Abstract

Sidokumpul Village is one of the villages in Sambeng District, Lamongan Regency, classified as a tropical area with agricultural potential. one of the commodities that are often cultivated are Tomato and Tobacco plants. During the main harvest season, generally the price of tomatoes will experience a drastic price drop. Efforts that can be made to keep tomato prices high is to process tomatoes into processed products with economic value. This training program aims to: 1. Form and develop an innovative society, 2. Increase knowledge or skills, especially diversification of food processing, 3. Increase production and marketing knowledge. Training activities are carried out through 3 main stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. processing of tomato jam was chosen as one of the processed tomatoes with a longer shelf life and higher economic value. This training activity by the KKN group was able to increase public knowledge and the selling value of tomatoes, as well as being an alternative solution when the selling price of tomatoes was cheap. The processing process is relatively easy and uses simple equipment

Abstract

SDN Sukosari and MI Tarbiyatul Ulum which are located in Sukosari Village, Mantup District, Lamongan Regency, where the majority of students who are still occupying the first grade are still weak in recognizing the letters of the alphabet and numbers. Thus, it is hoped that the creation of learning media in the form of praga tools can help students recognize the letters of the alphabet and numbers, moreover they will be able to read and understand more about subtraction and addition faster. This mentoring activity was carried out in Sukosari Village, Mantup District, Lamongan Regency, in less than one month starting on 03 August-27 August 2022. The objects targeted for the implementation of this program are formal educational institutions, namely SDN 1 Sukosari and MI Tarbiyatul Ulum sukosari. making learning media praga tools in the form of pictures that are used to help students to more easily understand the learning delivered. The implementation of this program is carried out on students in grades one and two for the MI Tarbiyatul Ulum institution, and grades one and six for SDN 1 Sukosari

Abstract

Humans are the most noble creatures among other creatures, so to take care of the corpse has been regulated in Islamic law with the aim of glorifying it. In the teachings of Islamic law, taking care of the body is fardhu kifayah (the legal status of an activity in Islam that must be carried out, but if it has been done by other Muslims then this obligation is void), so that when in an area there is no one who can take care of the corpse (تجهيز الميت) then one of these areas will sin. Although the law is fard kifayah, it would be better for every Muslim to master his knowledge. It will be very unfortunate if there is not a single community that meets the requirements to abort fardlu kifayah in terms of taking care of the corpse. Therefore, a body care training activity was held by the 20th batch of KKN students at the Sunan Drajat Ds Institute. Sidomulyo, Kec. Mantub, Kab. Lamongan, with the efforts of the youth in the village, especially Karang Taruna, can help take care of the bodies in the area itself, and can also become the successors of their predecessors

Abstract

Writing articles of a scientific nature is sometimes still an obstacle for final year English Literature students at Trunojoyo Madura University who want to publish the results of their research. This service activity is carried out by providing training on how to write scientific articles so that students are ready for publication. The method used is an approach based on Asset Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD). This activity is carried out through zoom meeting media during student holidays so that this activity is expected to fill student holiday time. The activity was carried out on July 26 2022. The results of this activity show that students have an interest in writing scientific articles but are still confused about starting and are still afraid to write. It is hoped that from this training students will become more confident and interested in writing scientific articles well and correctly

Abstract

Character education is an effort carried out by humans consciously, in a planned manner aimed at educating and empowering the potential of students so that their personal character is formed and they become individuals who are beneficial to themselves and the surrounding environment. Therefore, a child needs assistance and education so that he can grow and develop optimally. Character education must be carried out so that children in the future can become the next generation with good personalities and dignity. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of assistance to improve religious character through the KKN INSUD program which was carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Bango, Payaman, Solokuro, Lamongan. Activities to improve religious character are carried out by getting the following activities: morning assembly prayer, reading al quran before starting learning, Dhuha prayer, midday prayer, wearing Muslim and Muslim clothes, shaking hands with teachers and commemorating Islamic holidays.

Abstract

Socialization of legal products in the form of Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics and socialization of P4GN (Prevention, eradication, abuse and illicit drug trafficking). This activity is a form of community service as an effort to know and understand the consequences of punishment for drug addicts, abuse and illicit drug trafficking contained in Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics. In order to prevent the eradication, abuse and illicit circulation of drugs that can harm, endanger the joint life of society, nation, and state. It requires knowledge, understanding related to the dangers of drugs. The form of this activity is the socialization of legal products in the form of socialization of Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics and socialization of P4GN (Prevention, eradication, abuse and illicit drug trafficking). This form of service activity provides an understanding to the community, about narcotics, narcotics precursors, production, import, export, illicit circulation of narcotics and Narcotics precursors, import and export approval letters, transportation, pharmaceutical wholesalers, narcotics transito, narcotics addicts, narcotics dependence, abusers, medical rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, conspiracy, wiretapping, organized crime, corporations and ministers. Participants of the socialization were mothers from the National Women's Branch Board of Kediri City. The purpose of this community service is to convey and provide understanding to mothers regarding the law on narcotics. Ensure narcotics security for the needs of health services and/or the development of Science and Technology, prevent, protect and save the Indonesian nation from narcotics abuse, eradicate illicit trafficking of narcotics and narcotics precursors. So Ibu2 as the first and main madrasah able to prevent early on the dangers of drugs for his family and the community around him. So that the realization of families and communities that Shine is clean from drugs.

Abstract

Educational institutions need to adapt to the development of the world of technology which is accelerating very quickly, both in the development of learning, learning innovation, and the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure as well as to improve their quality. One of the uses of technology in education is to support learning. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge to teachers by utilizing the Canva application as a creative and innovative learning medium for language learning in children. The training method is by providing material as a basis for initial knowledge, explaining the use of the Canva application in learning and tutorials for making learning videos. The results of the activities of the participants were very active and enthusiastic about participating in the activity. The conclusion of the activity is continued for the development of material and content of learning media to stimulate children's language.
