Abstract

The study of biology through instructional media and the Direct Instruction Model has been implemented and tested on 30 students of class XI of SMAN 18 Samarinda using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative, the results as follows: very well performed learning; activities of students is too good; increaseing the students’ learning outcomes and all students give good responses to the instructional media and application. The conclusions of this study is that the application of instructional media using Direct Instruction models can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Strategic Planning in education, especially in higher education, is a critical component in maintaining the quality and relevance of education. FKIP Lecturer (Faculty of Teaching and Education) of Widya Gama Mahakam Samarinda University has an essential role in planning Strategic platform development and innovation. This article aims to discuss planning strategies that can be carried out by FKIP UWGM lecturers in developing platform-learning innovation at the University. Strategic planning and innovation approaches are used to understand the steps that FKIP lecturers can take to achieve these goals. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that FKIP lecturers need strategic planning in developing an e-learning platform, including needs analysis, instructional design, technology used, and learning evaluation. Strategic planning by FKIP lecturers in developing innovative e-learning platforms is essential to improve the quality of learning. Through proper planning, lecturers can provide learning experiences that meet student needs, integrate appropriate technology, and conduct effective evaluations.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of community empowerment through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs. Implementing corporate social responsibility programs by companies that can bring about community independence, because in CSR itself there is implementation of empowerment. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of programs related to CSR, so the program can be implemented on an ongoing basis and can empower communities. This research uses a literature study method by utilizing literature in the form of journals, books, and articles that are relevant to the theme and title of the research. The result of this research is that community empowerment is an ideal method in implementing CSR programs.

Abstract

Social media has had a drastically increased usage rate since the COVID-19 pandemic required everyone to stay at home. The number of active social media users is very large, namely as many as 196.7 million users (Jatmiko, 2020). Many people are starting to socialize through social media. But not only that, economic activity can also take place through social media. Many new businessmen have sprung up on social media to promote their products. Social media that is widely used for doing business is Tiktok and Instagram. Tiktok and Instagram have become very popular so that they have enormous opportunities for business people. This makes business people need to adjust how to promote the right way on each platform and continue to look for opportunities from each platform. Therefore, the authors compiled a study entitled Tiktok vs Instagram Reels: Online Fashion Business Promotion Media (Case Study on Online Fashion Brand Marasoe). This study aims to answer several problem formulations such as what are the opportunities for Tiktok as a medium for promoting the Marasoe online fashion business, what are the opportunities for Instagram Reels as a media for promoting the Marasoe online fashion business, and how to determine and adjust appropriate promotional content on each of the Tiktok and Instagram Reels platforms. for the Marasoe online fashion business. The results of this study are that the Tiktok and Instagram Reels platforms have the same opportunity to match the Marasoe target market. The form of content uploaded on Tiktok and Instagram Reels has a slight difference, so it can be adjusted accordingly. Tiktok viewers tend to like videos that are entertainment and are given discounts/low prices when it comes to hard selling. Meanwhile, Instagram Reels viewers tend to like aesthetic and exclusive content.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the causal factors of why students violate rights and deny obligations and whether Civics learning can increase the motivation for awareness of the rights and obligations of students at SMK Negeri 3 Samarinda. The results of this study indicate that from cases of violation of rights and denial of obligations committed by these students, it can be concluded that the factors causing the violation of rights and denial of obligations committed by students were caused by internal and external factors. Internal factors are the attitude and behaviour of egoism, lack of awareness of the nation and state, and not respecting and appreciating the rights of others. At the same time, the external factors are misuse of technology and the mild sanctions or fines given. PPKn subjects with KD Being responsive and proactive towards violations of rights and denial of citizens' obligations in society, nation and state with material cases of rights violations and denial of citizen obligations can increase awareness of their rights and obligations.

Abstract

This study aims to improve chemistry learning outcomes in class X students with the discovery method through laboratory activities on the colloid system concept. The subjects of this study were students of class X Mining Geology (GP) 1 at SMK Negeri 6 Samarinda from May to June 2022. The method used in this study was classroom action research with a sample of 33 students who were taught with methods of discovery through laboratory activities. Classroom Action Research which conducted the study consisted of two cycles with each cycle includes the stages in the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instrument used is the observation sheet, questionnaire, achievement test, and interviews of teachers and students. From the research, this paper shows the study had reached the criteria has become a boundary indicator of the success demonstrated by the increase in categories of aspects of active student participation in learning in each cycle. Similarly, an increase in achievement test average score of 68.09 in the first cycle increased to 74.81 and no more students who scored less than 60.00. Similar to the results of interviews of students who responded positively to the learning process that uses a method of discovery through laboratory activities. From these results we can conclude that learning by using learning method of discovery through laboratory activities can enhance students' learning outcomes chemistry.

Abstract

Upaya untuk mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa khususnya keterampilan menulis teks LHO (Laporan Hasil Observasi), diperlukan model dan metode pembelajaran yang tepat. Salah satu model dan metode pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada keaktifan belajar siswa adalah model PBL (Problem Based Learning) dikombinasikan dengan metode JAS (Jelajah Alam Sekitar). Best Practice ini merupakan hasil praktik terbaik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas X BDP-1 (Bisnis Daring Pemasaran) SMK Negeri 9 Samarinda. Jumlah siswa sebanyak 33 anak yang terdiri dari 18 anak laki-laki dan 15 anak perempuan. Data berupa hasil belajar siswa dalam bentuk tabel yang dicapai setelah melakukan pembelajaran melalui model PBL (Problem Based Learning) dan metode JAS (Jelajah Alam Sekitar) dapat dilihat dengan membandingkan hasil ulangan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan kombinasi model PBL (Problem Based Learning) dengan metode JAS (Jelajah Alam Sekitar). Setelah mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) dengan metode JAS (Jelajah Alam Sekitar) pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi teks LHO (Laporan Hasil Observasi), hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan yaitu jumlah siswa yang tuntas KKM adalah 26 siswa atau 78,79% dari keseluruhan 33 siswa, sebelumnya tuntas KKM adalah 13 siswa atau 39,40%. Dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan sebesar 39,39% nilai keterampilan menulis siswa sebelum dan sesudah mengimplmentasikan model pembelajaran PBL (Problem Based Learning) dengan metode JAS (Jelajah Alam Sekitar).

Abstract

PT Setya Kuliner Mandiri is engaged in fast food. Until now, the company has not measured the performance of Halal Supply Chain Management. Meanwhile, the vision that is owned is to serve dishes according to Islamic Sharia law. The purpose of this study was conducted to measure the performance of the halal supply chain using the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. This method is used so that the company knows which metrics need improvement. Based on the final results, it is known that the sequential weighting is as follows Plan (0.274010), Source (0.237440), Make (0.210491), Deliver (0.158022), and Return (0.120037) with a total performance value of "80.89", which according to the Supply Chain Council assessment can be categorized "Good". As for suggestions for future researchers to be able to make comparisons with similar companies and add measurement methods such as (IPMS) and Balanced Scorecard. In addition, to find out the actual condition of the company in the market, comparisons can be made with other similar companies.

Abstract

Social Media Marketing is a strategy that many business people choose to carry out promotional activities on social media. Especially with the many business users who have chosen social media as their platform of choice. This study aims to determine the Social Media Marketing Strategy implemented by Asian Belly Food in Forming Brand Awareness. The theory used in this study is the Social Media Marketing theory according to Quesenberry using a qualitative approach. as well as a descriptive method. The data collection technique used was an in-depth interview method with Product Manager and Head Creative Marketing informants as well as documentation on Asian Belly Food. The results of this study Asian Belly Food have gone through five stages of the appropriate Social Media Marketing Strategy according to Quesenberry. As a result of the implementation of the five stages, Asian Belly Food was able to create awareness, but there were still two stages that were not maximized and could be optimized.

Abstract

The advertising code of ethics is structured in two main structures, namely manners and procedures. This qualitative research is in this study, the author uses a qualitative narrative research method, the data contained is not quantitative data in the form of numbers, qualitative data in the form of data obtained from interviews with informants, official data from companies, and observations that have been made by the author, and claimed narrative because this research is revealing according to the research process studied. The results of this study indicate that the advertising industry is currently growing with technological developments in Indonesia, so that the presentation of the themes and images displayed in advertisements is increasingly creative and unique, but in making an advertisement not only displays what is interesting, but the advertisement must also in accordance with advertising ethics namely, Honest, true, and responsible, Compete in a healthy manner. In this article, the object of this research is the ABC soy sauce advertisement version "There is no soy sauce as good as ABC ketchup". the colour of the competitor's soy sauce brand is Bango ketchup with a narrative that insinuates "this hand knows the difference between ordinary soy sauce and extraordinary soy sauce", the second at 0:16 seconds there is a narrative that violates manners with a narrative that discriminates against gender. In an advertisement, you must pay attention to the points of advertising ethics so that violations do not occur. In an advertisement, you must not satirize or compare certain parties because this violates the advertising code of ethics.
