Abstract

Islam entered Minangkabau between the 12th and 13th centuries AD, through two channels namely; pathway from Aceh and pathway from Malacca. Islam was introduced by the preachers and Arab merchants who settled in eastern Minangkabau, especially in the watershed that led to the center of the Minangkabau kingdom in the interior. The expansion of Samudra Pasai kingdom to eastern Minangkabau was very influential for the intensive spread of Islam in this region and other Minangkabau regions. The Islamization process took place peacefully, because it was introduced through local wisdom approaches to the community in the local cultural environment. In addition, the initial approach undertaken by the preachers in a persuasive and acculturative way to the customary laws adopted by the community, further facilitated the process of Islamization where they are, even as the beginning of a fusion between Islam and Minangkabau custom has given rise to a consensus that reads "Adat basandi Syara 'Syara' basandi Adat. "

Abstract

The implementation of this research is motivated by the low learning interest of students in Islamic religious education subjects, this makes learning activities become saturated and seem tiring. The use of less varied methods and strategies makes students feel bored in learning. The use of the card sort method is expected to be able to foster requests and activate students in learning. The results showed the implementation of the first cycle showed an average value of 71. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle there were 21 percent of students get a low category. Whereas 21 percent of students scored moderately, 52 percent received high marks, and there were 11 percent of students rated very high. In the second cycle increased with the results achieved as many as 7 students (37 percent) get a high category while 12 students (63 percent) get a score with a very high category with an average value of 88, and indicators of success achieved are 95 percent.

Abstract

Learning through the problem-based learning approach is a series of learning activities that are expected to empower students to become an independent individual and be able to face every problem encountered in his life. Problem-based learning is innovation in learning, this is because in problem-based learning students' thinking abilities can be optimized through systematic group work processes so students can hone, test and develop their thinking abilities on an ongoing basis. In application of problem-based learning requires the readiness of teachers and students to be able to collaborate in solving problems raised. The teacher must be ready to be a mentor as well as a tutor for students who can provide motivation and help students to master problem solving skills. For teachers, an understanding of various student-centered approaches, one of which is problem-based learning needs to be improved to face the challenges of life now and in the future.

Abstract

This article discusses the problem of Evaluating and Tracking Performance of Educators and Education Personnel with a literature approach. From the results of the assessment obtained that understanding; 1) An Educator and Education must be able to know what has been their responsibility, not to underestimate the rights and obligations agreed upon. 2) To get or produce qualified Educators and Education staff there are several strategies that might be implemented, namely: Self Assessment, Formulation of Vision, Mission, and Objectives, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, and Reporting. And an educator and educator must be able to maximize their duties and obligations correctly and full of responsibility.

Abstract

Ulama at the crossroads, examine the role of Ulama in political life in Indonesia. Ulama the title on a personal figure who has advantages in Islam, especially religious knowledge, practice of worship and akhlaq al karimah. Ulama are actually located at a crossroads as neutral position for enlightenment protector and guidance to the people. However, the condition of politics in Indonesia, some Ulama are no longer in an ideal position that exists at a crossroads regulating flow interests of the people, but they also put themselves on political practice. Every children of Indonesian has the same rights to play role on the nation interest, especially through the realm of politics. Including Ulama as one of the nation component is not restricted to participate on contributing in the interests of the nation and state according to their expertise. It's just that their wisdom is needed to not get involved on negative things but the contrary give colour of Islam on Indonesian politic for real.

Abstract

This article is an analysis from a psychological point of view about the development of religious souls at the stages of child growth. The stages of the child's mental development will change periodically along with the physical growth and spiritual development. To preserve the soul so as not to be polluted from negative influences, such as harassment and violation of religious values ​​and humanitarianism. So it is very necessary for the formation of educators and parents of the child's soul. From the results of the assessment obtained that understanding; 1). Basically, the Islamic education of each individual or child in their development is greatly influenced by innate factors (heredity), environmental factors (family, school and community), and supernatural factors; 2). Every child in the development of a religious soul that is accepted and felt at each stage of their growth experiences certain influences, therefore the strategy for developing a religious soul in children must be adjusted to the stages of their growth.

Abstract

Muhammad Ali is a rationalist theologian who has been able to display the face of Islamic understanding and thought logically. Maulana was one of the reformers who violently dynamized Muslims through the door of ijtihad. He promoted rational thinking through the Lahadi Ahmadiyya missionary movement in his popular work, The Religion of Islam, so that his religious movements could be accepted in parts of Europe including London. Even with the spirit of rationalization, he dismissed the mythological understanding of the teachings of Islam, synergistic with the occurrence of modernization in Europe which proclaimed demythologization. As a reflection, thoughts on the words of Maulana Muhammad Ali are synergistic with scientific enthusiasm, although at a certain level it is still difficult to break away from apologetics. This is still very reasonable because this study has a theological nuance, especially when it is related to the scope of the kalam study, which is to defend the faith from the attack of non-Muslim thoughts. However, at least we put the pattern of thinking about Maulana as an important part in the effort to dynamize Muslims so that they will not be trapped by myths (Israiliyat).

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of Maqasid Al-Shari'ah in uniting the Ummah. From the results of the discussion affirms that Maqasid al sharia is the values ​​and targets of syara 'which are implied in all or the largest part of its laws. These values ​​and targets are seen as sharia goals and secrets, established by al-shari 'in every legal provision. The implementation of the principles of Maqasid al sharia is contained in every principle of Pancasila as the State Foundation. Maqasid al-shari'ah is not designed for the interests of certain communions or religious groups, as confirmed by Allah (shari'ah maker) and Muhammad peace be upon him. (Shari'ah bearer) is the spreader of mercy for the universe (rahmatan lil alamin), not just for Muslims.

Abstract

This article discusses the Function of Advocates in Resolving Disputes Outside the Court. From the results of the discussion, it can be understood that the function of advocates in the settlement of civil disputes through non-trial (non-adjudication) efforts is to defend interests or represent clients in real, to realize resolving disputes for which they are responsible without going through a process in court (adjudication). Advocates in carrying out good functions, it is necessary to increase formal education, especially for advocates who are still in the bachelor (S1), so that understanding of legal science is deeper, because the development of science, especially legal science is increasingly developing, so that if advocates do not take the initiative to develop their knowledge, it will be left behind because the experience of practice alone does not guarantee there is quality for an advocate. Practical experience is supported by higher formal education, so the quality of advocates is increasingly visible.

Abstract

Supervision is an act or process of controlling activities, values, and determining deviations from the implementation of work in accordance with predetermined plans and standards. In Islam, supervision is not only done by humans but also by God who creates, so it is required to do in accordance with what has been planned in the organization so that what is achieved is a common goal. Supervision is very much needed in an organization / educational institution, as a means of control, whether the organizational structure can run efficiently, and also to find out the results achieved are in accordance with plans and standards or not. Educational supervision is the improvement and development of teaching and learning processes in total, in the sense of improving and developing teacher teaching quality, procurement of facilities that support the smooth teaching and learning process, improving the quality of knowledge and skills of teachers, providing guidance and coaching
