Abstract

Global warming that occurs, one of which can not be separated from the garbage that is thrown away by people carelessly and they are not fully aware of the dangers of the waste. Even though the waste has been disposed of in its place, then transported by the cleaning staff to the Final Disposal Site and without any follow-up handling it will also be dangerous. Examples of organic waste that mixes with the environment such as in the soil, then decomposes will cause methane gas which can thicken the layer of the greenhouse effect. Then what about non-organic waste, such as plastic, rubber, yarn, to metal, which also have a very polluting impact on the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to follow up the handling of waste, especially household waste (SRT) in the community. The service team this time used a bottom up system to solve partner problems. In addition to using the system, the canvas business is also used as a solution to solve this problem. The results of the service show that with the implementation of the health protocol, the economic activities carried out by partners gradually improve and can run with strict and regular protocols.

Abstract

The availability of teaching materials that are in accordance with the conditions of students and the learning environment becomes a necessity. These needs can only be met by those who come in direct contact with students in the learning process. Fulfilling the need for teaching materials will help students master learning material. One of the practical teaching materials is a module. Modules become part of the complete set of learning tools. So the teacher also has an obligation to develop teaching materials in the form of modules. The training on the preparation of thematic modules consists of 2 stages, namely the delivery of methods and their systematic preparation and the preparation of draft modules. Through the implementation of training on the preparation of thematic modules, it is able to encourage and improve the skills of teachers to make teaching materials according to the needs of their students. The results of making modules can be used alone and can also be publicized for sale and purchase. It can increase the diversity of teaching materials for the completeness of learning resources.

Abstract

Menarche (menar) is the first menstruation from the uterus which is the beginning of menstrual function and a sign of puberty in adolescent girls. In the last decade, there is a tendency for the menarche age to shift towards a younger age. (Williams and Wilkins, 2012).. Menars occurs in women of reproductive age between the ages of 10-16 years. What affects a woman to experience menarche is the maturity of the female reproductive organs. Nutritional status and stressors. Many problems are experienced by adolescents who experience menarche due to lack of knowledge about menarche, fear due to wrong information in dealing with menarche, and minimal information from teachers and parents (Andrijono, 2012). Researcher Septiana, 2016 in his research on the Relationship of Adolescent Knowledge with Nutritional Status, Physical Activity, and Age of Menarche. has recommended to provide information about menarche to the public, especially adolescents and to prepare mothers if their children experience early menarche. Research in Rome in 2003-2005 on knowledge and providing information about menarche in adolescents, the results obtained from 390 respondents 54.6% of them lack knowledge about menarche in adolescents (Pavia et al., 2006).

Abstract

The Graha Tartila settlement, Blandongan District, Pasuruan City, is experiencing rapid changes, especially agricultural land, which has been converted into residential areas and complexes. However, some land is empty, abandoned, and poorly maintained. In addition to its unkempt and dirty appearance, this abandoned land is also considered a nest for mosquito snakes and often becomes a garbage dump. This article aims to describe the use of empty land in Graha Tartila Housing, Blandongan District, Pasuruan City, as part of efforts to improve food security behavior in people's daily lives. The method used is experimental. People use empty land to grow daily food crops such as vegetables and Lombok. The trial results show that the use of empty land positively impacts the surrounding community, including maintaining environmental cleanliness and producing vegetables that can be consumed directly by the community. There is increased knowledge and training in preparing soil substrates, providing compost from local materials, and using waste and other materials as planting substrates. The approach to implementing a sustainable food space at home is carried out theoretically and practically. Applying KRPL is a solution to help small plots of land be optimal and effective.

Abstract

Pasuruan is a city in the eastern part of Java Island, famous for its traditional drink brand, "Jamu Kebonagung." Spices' distinctive taste and benefits as the main ingredient make this drink very popular. Economic demands make people try their luck in participating in market competition by making and marketing other products to survive during economic pressures. One of the oldest UMKM in Pasuruan does something different: one of the many micro and small businesses that can support the economy of small communities and remain loyal and continue to manage and produce while maintaining taste. There are obstacles in marketing these products, especially in the current era of digitalization. As a result, UMKM needs help in running their businesses. Uniwara students in this KKN activity provided solutions by providing community service and training regarding product branding in digital marketing

Abstract

Research is the responsibility of students, instructors, and researchers to develop academic publication and community service skills. The caliber of education provided by an institution, faculty, or study program is influenced by research. There are many similarities in terms of research variables and research titles, as well as the frequency with which the phenomenon occurs in contemporary research writing. This makes the investigation appear monotonous and colorless. This happens because when selecting a research title, references from prior research are used without regard to the research title's frequency. Students, professors, and researchers must conduct research mapping based on published articles for students to determine which variables can serve as research topics. This selection seeks to acquire originality in similar research topics. The Publish or Peris application and VOS Viewer can be used to map research journal articles more efficiently.

Abstract

Evaluating and appraising are crucial in comprehending and facilitating young children's progress in early childhood education. Ensuring that the assessment methods are practical and suitable for this age group is essential. The objective of this study is to apply and assess a development-oriented evaluation method in early childhood education to enhance the quality of educational services provided to children. The community service approach is implemented through the collaborative efforts of educational institutions, communities, and parents. The evaluation methodology encompasses multiple facets of child development, surrounding religion and character, language, physical motor skills, cognitive abilities, social-emotional aptitude, and artistic talents. The community service method provides educators and parents with training sessions on development-based assessment techniques. Furthermore, support is offered for implementing this evaluation technique in official and informal educational settings. The evaluation results indicate a rise in comprehension regarding early childhood development among educators, parents, and the community. Implementing this evaluation focused on development, yielding substantial advantages in early identification of children's capabilities and requirements. In addition, this strategy fosters enhanced collaboration between educators and parents in facilitating the comprehensive development of children. The aim is for the findings of this study to serve as a foundation for creating educational policies that are both inclusive and adaptable to the requirements of early childhood in society.

Abstract

The closure of educational institutions is often regarded as a highly effective measure in mitigating the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Distance learning is being implemented in light of the current circumstances and the perceived vulnerability to the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. The objective of this essay is to elucidate the favorable reception of students in Pasuruan towards the home learning aid program. Home learning assistance refers to providing guidance and support inside the home environment to aid students in overcoming challenges encountered during the learning process. The research employed the descriptive survey method as its chosen methodology. The focus of the learning aid program is on pupils at the elementary and middle school levels. The pupils must complete a questionnaire to receive feedback on the learning support program. The findings indicate that the learning support program was well-received by pupils in Pasuruan. Providing learning aids has been found to enhance students' motivation to learn. This is attributed to the alleviation of students' workload and the perception of increased understanding, which is reinforced by the involvement of fellow students who offer exceptional and fun support. During the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic, there has been an observed increase in students' enthusiasm for the process of learning.

Abstract

One of the primary objectives of education is to facilitate the cultivation and realization of an individual's inherent capabilities and talents. Human resource development (HR) is a key aspect of development policy within the education sector. Its primary objective is to enhance the academic capabilities and professional competence of teachers while also ensuring improved welfare provisions for educators. Teachers are required to exhibit a consistent level of professionalism in the execution of their responsibilities, including the essential skill of doing scholarly research. Empirical evidence indicates that many educators continue to require support in scientific publication production and implementation. Consequently, there is a pressing need for targeted and well-organized help to address this requirement. Hence, the primary objective of this service initiative is to offer support to aspiring teacher candidates while also fostering the motivation of teaching faculty to engage in writing and assembling scholarly publications. The employed methodologies encompass analysis, observation, mentoring, training, and assessment. The training program emphasizes developing skills in composing Classroom Action Research (PTK) reports through instructional techniques such as lectures, question-and-answer sessions, discussions, and simulations. The outcomes of this endeavour provide advantages to the individuals undergoing instruction, as it enhances their comprehension and proficiency in composing scholarly publications.
