Abstract

This research aims to investigate how the Cilegon City Government and the Forum for Interfaith Harmony (FKUB) collaborate in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs to maintain interfaith harmony and prevent religious intolerance. Data were collected through policy document analysis and in-depth interviews with officials from Kesbangpol, FKUB, and the Cilegon City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office using a qualitative descriptive technique. The conclusions drawn from this study include goal-setting techniques, formulation of the existing situation, identification of barriers and facilitators, and development of activity plans. Implementation of the program involves disseminating regulations, convening meetings with religious leaders, establishing youth forums, and organizing interfaith community coordination meetings. According to program evaluation, the interfaith harmony index for Cilegon City in 2022 achieved a score of 79.71 points, surpassing the target of 68.74 points and also exceeding the national average interfaith harmony index of 72.39 points. These findings imply the potential to enhance understanding and preventive actions in promoting harmony among religious communities.

Abstract

Abstract This research explores the strategic evaluation of geodefense-based defense policies in addressing contemporary military threats within the evolving geopolitical landscape. Against the backdrop of increasing geopolitical tensions and diverse security challenges, this study aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of geodefense strategies in enhancing national security resilience. Utilizing qualitative research methods, secondary data from academic sources, government reports, and defense policy documents are analyzed to examine three main components: the geopolitical landscape and military threats, geodefense-based defense policies, and the development of a strategic evaluation framework. Findings reveal dynamic shifts in power dynamics, regional conflicts, and emerging security threats shaping the contemporary security environment. Geodefense-based defense policies are observed to prioritize strategic depth, geographic intelligence, and interagency coordination to mitigate security risks. Moreover, the development of a structured strategic evaluation framework facilitates comprehensive assessment and adaptation of defense strategies to evolving threats and challenges. This research underscores the importance of integrating geographic considerations, intelligence capabilities, and stakeholder collaboration in effective defense planning and strategy formulation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe (1) the effectiveness of training activities at the Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM) in Gorontalo City and (2) Determining Factors for the Effectiveness of Training Activities at the Gorontalo City Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM). . The research method used in this research is a research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that first, the effectiveness of the training program at the Gorontalo City Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM) can be seen from 1) Understanding the program. 2) Right on target, 3) On time, 4) Achievement of goals 5) Real change. Of these 5 aspects, there is one aspect that is not yet effective, namely understanding the program. The process of disseminating information has not been effective, resulting in some people not knowing about the training program organized by LLK-UKM Gorontalo City. Second, the effectiveness of the training program at the Gorontalo City Small and Medium Enterprises Job Training Workshop (LLK-UKM) can be seen from two aspects, namely: (1) Human resources and (2) Infrastructure. The research results show that these two factors are not effective. The lack of instructors available at LLK UKM Gorontalo City is hampering training activities. Likewise, the second factor is inadequate infrastructure. Apart from the very limited amount of equipment available, most of it is still manual equipment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of apparatus work attitudes on the implementation of the legislative function of council members at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of Bone Bolango Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The survey research in question is to explain causal relationships and test hypotheses. The number of samples in this study was 25 people. The data analysis method uses simple regression analysis. The results of the research show that the work attitude of the apparatus influences the implementation of the legislative function of council members at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of Bone Bolango Regency. This means that the working attitude of the apparatus can support the implementation of the legislative function of council members.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Government, especially the North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department, in efforts to overcome flooding in Tanjung Priok District. The method in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research was carried out at the Water Resources Department, especially in Tanjung Priok District. Data collection was carried out by interviews and documentation studies, then analyzed descriptively narratively using the Miles & Hubberman model. The research results show that based on 7 (seven) indicators of effectiveness, the North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department has taken every step carefully and carefully. Targets and goals have been achieved well, where flood-prone areas have adequate equipment so that flooding does not have a more severe impact. In terms of timeliness indicators, the North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department carries out every treatment as responsively as possible after reports from flood detection monitoring. In terms of human resource indicators, North Jakarta Administrative City DSDA has quality and quantity human resources in their respective fields. So that flood management efforts, especially in the Tanjung Priok area, can be handled well. In terms of facilities and infrastructure indicators, the North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department provides various facilities that support flood management, such as stationary pumps, floating pumps and mobile truck pumps. The North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department carries out regular monitoring and evaluation to provide maximum service to the community. On budget indicators, the North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department carries out periodic budget planning. Budget management is also carried out transparently and accountability is maintained. In terms of communication and strategy indicators, the North Jakarta City Administration Water Resources Department coordinates with internal and external stakeholders as well as the community, so that flood management can be maximized when the community as key figures in the environment participates in maintaining environmental cleanliness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi peran Dinas Pariwisata Kota Mataram dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata Pantai Loang Baloq. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai inisiatif strategis yang dilakukan, seperti perumusan kebijakan, pengembangan infrastruktur, promosi, pelatihan sumber daya manusia, pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan fasilitas, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dinas Pariwisata memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan daya tarik dan kualitas Pantai Loang Baloq sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan. Peran ini mencakup perencanaan strategis dan kebijakan, pengembangan infrastruktur, promosi dan pemasaran, pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia, pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan, evaluasi dan monitoring, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal. Inisiatif-inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat ekonomi dan sosial bagi masyarakat setempat, meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, serta memperkuat posisi Pantai Loang Baloq sebagai tujuan wisata utama di Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kesimpulannya, peran aktif dan komprehensif dari Dinas Pariwisata Kota Mataram sangat penting dalam mengembangkan Pantai Loang Baloq sebagai destinasi wisata yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. This study evaluates the role of the Mataram City Tourism Office in the development of the Loang Baloq Beach tourist destination. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research identifies various strategic initiatives undertaken, such as policy formulation, infrastructure development, promotion, human resource training, facility management and maintenance, as well as local community empowerment. The results indicate that the Tourism Office plays a crucial role in enhancing the appeal and quality of Loang Baloq Beach as a premier tourist destination. This role includes strategic planning and policy-making, infrastructure development, promotion and marketing, human resource training and development, management and maintenance, evaluation and monitoring, and local community empowerment. These initiatives are expected to provide economic and social benefits to the local community, increase the number of tourist visits, and strengthen the position of Loang Baloq Beach as a primary tourist destination in West Nusa Tenggara. In conclusion, the active and comprehensive role of the Mataram City Tourism Office is vital in developing Loang Baloq Beach as a high-quality and sustainable tourist destination.

Abstract

Motivation has two basic forms, namely artificial (extrinsic) and intrinsic (intrinsic). Organizations need both in order to improve employee performance. (extrinsic or intrinsic), extrinsic refers to the actions that the organization will take to motivate employees, while intrinsic refers to the forces or causes within the organization that push employees towards certain goals. Because every employee who works certainly has motivation which is the reason why they join the organization of their choice. Based on the results of the researcher's initial observations, work effectiveness at the Tolinggula Subdistrict Office, North Gorontalo Regency is not yet optimal. This can be seen where there are still many public services that cannot be completed on time, simply because the employees serving the public are not there or arrive late to go to the office. Another problem that appears is the slowness of employees in working due to lack of communication. Some employees lack responsibility for their duties and work. If you look at the behavior of employees, it is very clear that employees arrive on time for attendance or roll call in the morning, but after roll call and roll call are finished they do not immediately enter the room and start work, but choose to be quiet and talk to their colleagues and then enter the work room for an hour. after they did attendance and morning assembly. If you assess employees' efforts in carrying out their duties, some employees often delegate their tasks or work to other employees. When appointed by the leadership to carry out work, both inside and outside the office, there are employees who nominate other employees to carry out the task. It was found that the services provided by employees at the Tolinggula Subdistrict Office still showed signs that employee discipline in their work had not been carried out well, this had an impact on employee work results which still showed signs of ineffectiveness in terms of both work quality and time issues. The problem phenomenon above is caused by a lack of motivation for employees. Work effectiveness and employee motivation are closely related; With the support of the right motivation, every employee will try to increase their productivity and have high work morale.

Abstract

Abstract  This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of organizational climate on the quality of employee work at State Vocational School (SMK) 1 Batudaa, Gorontalo Regency. In the educational context, organizational climate is an important factor that can influence employee performance and productivity. Using a quantitative approach and survey methods, this research involved 37 people as a sample represented from various backgrounds at the institution. The use of simple regression analysis as a data analysis method allows researchers to determine the extent to which the relationship between organizational climate variables and employee work quality can be measured statistically. The results of the research show that organizational climate influences the quality of work of employees at State Vocational School (SMK) 1 Batudaa, Gorontalo Regency, with a coefficient value of 0.713 or 71.3%. This figure shows that more than two-thirds of employee work quality can be explained by organizational climate factors, which include aspects such as communication, managerial support, and work culture. These results indicate that organizational climate makes a significant contribution to the quality of work of teachers and education personnel, which in turn has an impact on the effectiveness of learning in schools. Thus, it is important for school management to create and maintain a positive organizational climate so that employees can work optimally and achieve the expected educational goals. This research also opens up opportunities for further research regarding interventions that can be carried out to improve the organizational climate, so that the quality of employee work can continue to be improved in order to create a better learning environment.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) program in efforts to alleviate poverty in Padengo Village, Pohuwato Regency. Padengo Village is one area that still faces significant challenges related to poverty. In this context, the UMKM program is one of the strategies adopted by the Padengo Village Government to improve community welfare and reduce poverty levels. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, including government officials, UMKM business owners, and local community members. Data was also obtained through direct observation and documentation studies. The results of the research show that the implementation of the UMKM program in Padengo Village has had a positive impact on poverty alleviation efforts. These programs have encouraged local economic growth, created new jobs, and provided training and support for UMKM to improve their skills and productivity. However, this research also identified several challenges and obstacles faced in implementing UMKM programs, including bureaucracy complex issues, lack of access to capital and markets, and lack of understanding of the benefits and opportunities of the UMKM program among the community. Based on these findings, several recommendations are proposed to increase the effectiveness of the UMKM program in alleviating poverty in Padengo Village. Among other things, simplifying administrative procedures, increasing access to capital and markets, participatory approaches in program planning and implementation, as well as increasing public understanding and awareness of the importance of UMKM in overcoming poverty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika pengelolaan keuangan negara akibat kasus korupsi bantuan sosial covid19, dengan fokus pada kasus Juliari Batubara. Sejak akhir 2019, pandemi global telah melanda banyak negara, termasuk Indonesia, yang harus memotong sebagian besar anggaran mereka untuk mendukung sektor kesehatan, bantuan sosial, dan pemulihan ekonomi. Peluang penyalahgunaan wewenang dan korupsi di tingkat pemerintahan meningkat karena fokus anggaran yang besar ini. Penelitian ini penting untuk memahami bagaimana pandemi mempengaruhi kinerja pengelolaan keuangan negara dan bagaimana korupsi dapat menghambat pencapaian tujuan anggaran negara. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana kebijakan fiskal negara dalam hal alokasi, distribusi, dan stabilisasi dilaksanakan selama pandemi. Kerangka analisis yang digunakan mengacu pada teori anggaran negara dari Richard A. Musgrave, yang menjelaskan tiga fungsi utama anggaran negara. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis konten terhadap laporan keuangan negara dan studi kasus korupsi terkait pengelolaan dana covid19. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, meskipun anggaran yang dialokasikan sangat besar, banyak praktik korupsi yang menghambat pelaksanaan fungsi anggaran, yang mengakibatkan kerugian negara sebesar ratusan miliar rupiah. Singkatnya, reformasi tata kelola, peningkatan transparansi, dan pengawasan yang lebih ketat di masa depan perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan anggaran negara. This research examines the dynamics of state financial management due to the Covid-19 social assistance corruption case, with a focus on the Juliari Batubara case. Since the end of 2019, the global pandemic has hit many countries, including Indonesia, which has had to cut most of its budget to support the health sector, social assistance and economic recovery. The opportunity for abuse of power and corruption at the government level is greater because of this large budget focus. This research is important to understand how the pandemic affects the performance of state financial management and how corruption can hinder the achievement of APBN goals. This research aims to evaluate how state fiscal policies in terms of allocation, distribution and stabilization are implemented during the pandemic. The analytical framework used refers to Richard A. Musgrave's state budget theory which explains the three main functions of the state budget. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis of state financial reports and corruption case studies related to the management of Covid-19 funds. The research results show that even though the allocated budget is very large, there are many corrupt practices that hinder the implementation of budget functions, causing state losses of up to hundreds of billions of rupiah. In short, governance reforms, increased transparency, and tighter supervision in the future need to be carried out to increase the effectiveness of state budget management.
