Abstract

Abstract : The rationale for implementing classroom action research is based on the observations and experiences of researchers during teaching at the Dukuh Public Elementary School dated I / 424 Surabaya, which states that for grade V students still have difficulty in carrying out mathematical calculation processes, especially calculation of unit conversion. In this research activity, researchers used two types of teaching aids as teaching media namely speed pyramids and conversion ladders with the aim of increasing students' understanding in mathematical unit conversion calculations. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of improved learning using the speed pyramid and conversion ladder in the first cycle runs quite well with an average value of 3.6 (on a scale of 1-5); student learning achievement in understanding concepts and mathematical calculations for unit conversion material is categorized sufficient, with a value of 79.28 (on a scale of 1-100); and student learning outcomes obtained an average of 75 with a percentage of completeness of 82%. In the second cycle, the implementation of improved learning using the speed pyramid and conversion ladder went well with an average value of 4.3 (on a scale of 1-5); student learning achievement in understanding concepts and mathematical calculations for unit conversion material is categorized sufficient, with a value of 86.79 (on a scale of 1-100); and student learning outcomes obtained an average of 87.5 with 97% completeness percentage. Keywords: student understanding, learning achievement, learning outcomes, speed pyramid, conversion steps Abstrak: Dasar pemikiran dilaksanakannya penelitian tindakan kelas ini berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan pengalaman peneliti selama mengajar di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya, yang menyatakan bahwa untuk siswa kelas V masih mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan proses perhitungan matematika khususnya perhitungan konversi satuan. Dalam kegiatan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan dua jenis alat peraga sebagai media mengajar yaitu piramida kelajuan dan tangga konversi dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam melakukan perhitungan konversi satuan secara matematis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran menggunakan piramida kelajuan dan tangga konversi pada siklus I berjalan cukup baik dengan nilai rata-rata 3,6 (dalam skala 1-5); prestasi belajar siswa dalam memahami konsep dan perhitungan matematis untuk materi konversi satuan dikategorikan cukup, dengan nilai 79,28 (dalam skala 1-100); dan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh rata-rata 75 dengan persentase ketuntasan 82%. Pada siklus II, pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran menggunakan piramida kelajuan dan tangga konversi berjalan baik dengan nilai rata-rata 4,3 (dalam skala 1-5); prestasi belajar siswa dalam memahami konsep dan perhitungan matematis untuk materi konversi satuan dikategorikan cukup, dengan nilai 86,79 (dalam skala 1-100); dan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh rata-rata 87,5 dengan persentase ketuntasan 97%. Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam membaca khususnya membaca puisi masih kurang baik karena dalam membaca puisi siswa masih kesulitan untuk mengucapkan intonasi dan ekspresi ketika membaca puisi akibatnya siswa masih terlihat biasa saja seperti membaca teks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh strategi Directed Reading Activity terhadap keterampilan membaca puisi siswa kelas V SDN Buaran Mangga II Kabupaten Tangerang tahun ajaran 2018. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif quasi eksperimen. Instrmen yang digunakan yaitu tes dengan menggunakan performance test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dari hasil uji t pretes dapat diperoleh data berupa nilai signifikansi t-tabel sebesar 2,00 < t-hitung 0,83 dan dari hasil uji t postes dapat diperoleh data berupa nilai signifikansi t-tabel 2,00 > t-hitung 14,49. Hal itu berarti bahwa probabilitas < 0,05. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan membaca puisi siswa pada kelas yang menggunakan strategi Directed Reading Activity dengan kelas yang menggunakan pengajaran dengan metode ceramah, hasil analisis antara strategi Directed Reading Activity (variabel X) terhadap keterampilan membaca puisi siswa kelas V

Abstract

Penelitian Kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dalam membentuk karakter tanggung jawab siswa serta untuk mengetahui kegiatan apa saja yang dapat membentuk karakter tanggung jawab siswa MI Bahrul Ulum Jakarat Barat. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Bahrul Ulum Jakarta Barat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisa data penulis menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan mereduksi data, mendisplay data dan menyimpulkan secara fleksibel agar menjawab rumusan masalah yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini digunakan metode untuk mendidik karakter tanggung jawab siswa adalah melakukan pembiasaan, keteladanan, pemberian nasihat dan pencapaian SKU melalui kegiatan rutin, kegiatan PERSAMI dan kegiatan rekreasi/permainan. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan tercapainya 10 indikator tanggung jawab. Berdasarkan hasil penyebaran angket mengenai sikap tanggung jawab siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan kepramukaan di MI Bahrul Ulum terlihat dari tabel tersebut bahwa sikap tanggung jawab siswa dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler pramuka memiliki rentang rata-rata 61% artinya sebagian besar siswa bertanggung jawab atas apa yang merupakan hak dan kewajibannya dan sebagian kecil siswa masih ada yang kurang sikap tanggung jawab dalam mengikuti kegiatan kepramukaan.

Abstract

Abstract : The first objective of this study was to find out whether there was an effect of listening skill on Indonesian language lessons by using the Integrative Approach for fifth grade students of SDN Gerendeng 1 Kota Tangerang. The method used in this study was quantitative experimental research (Quasi Experiment).The population is students in class V A and V B inGerendeng 1 Tangerang. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. The data was obtained through pretest and posttest experiments. Trial the hypothesis using t-test obtained tcount = 1.42 and ftable = 2.00 at the signification level α = 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the average pretest of the experimental class and the control class.As for the acquisition of the posttest hypothesis from the t-test results obtained tcount = 2,70 and ftable= 2.00 at the significance level α = 0.05, then concluded H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted that there are differences in listening skills between students who are given learning using the Approach Integrative with students who are not given learning using the Integrative Approach. From the data that has been obtained as stated, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Integrative Approach to the listening skills of grade V students of SDN Gerendeng 1 Tangerang. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui a) apakah peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar Negeri Blotonga 01 Salatiga dapat diupayakan melalui discovery learning. b) mengetahui bagaimanakan langkah – langkah discovery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik tema peristiwa alam muatan pelajaran Bahasa indonesia dan Matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Model PTK yang digunakan adalah spiral dari C. Kemmis & Mc Taggart dengan menggunakan 2 siklus, masing - masing siklus terdiri dari 3 tahap yakni, 1) perencanaan tindakan 2) pelaksanaan tindakan dan observasi 3) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Dasar Negeri Blotongan 01 Salatiga sebanyak 22 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan non tes. Instrumen penelitian dengan menggunakan butir soal dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data dengan deskriptif komparatif yaitu membandingkan persentase ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar tematik kelas 1 dapat diupayakan melalui discovery learning terbukti. Hal ini nampak pada perbandingan hasil belajar tema peristiwa alam berdasarkan persentase ketuntasan siklus I dan siklus II yaitu 40,90 % : 81,82%. Hasil belajar berdasarkan skor minimal siklus I dan siklus II sebesar 30 : 60. Hasil belajar berdasarkan skor maksimal siklus I dan siklus II sebesar 90 :100. Hasil belajar berdasarkan skor rata-rata dari siklus I dan siklus II yaitu 67,73 : 90,45. PTK ini dikatakan berhasil, yang ditunjukkan oleh besarnya persentase siswa yang mencapai hasil belajar pada tema peristiwa alam dikatakan tuntas dengan KKM = 80.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of supervision of the principal against the implementation of the basic tasks of the teachers in planning, implementing and evaluating the learning process. This research uses Action Research Approach. The results of this research show the results of supervision exercised principals can improve the implementation of the basic tasks of teachers. This also proves that the supervision of the head of school and individual meetings with each teacher to merefleksi learning process had a very important role in enhancing the implementation of the basic tasks of teachers. The implications of this research if a supervision role principals are always carried out, then the learning process in the classroom will give good feedback between teacher and students.. Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to explain the implementation of educational neuroscience results in elementary school. The method of this article is a literature study by tracing various scientific papers relating to this study. The results of this study conclude that educational neuroscience is a field of neuroscience studies that focuses on studying the concept of education in a transdisciplinary from a neuroscience perspective. Educational neuroscience research results prove that the structure of the nervous system underlies human actions, both cognition, affection, and psychomotor. Implementation of the results of neuroscience research in elementary school involves neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, educational theory, and learning practices. The concept of learning in the neuroscience perspective is learning that empowers the brain's ability by creating a challenging, enjoyable, meaningful learning environment, and encourages students to be active. Thus, educational neuroscience is a model of future education that is important to be learned by elementary school teachers. Keyword : educational neuroscience, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how the perception of elementary school teachers in North Jakarta on flood disaster mitigation. A flood that often occurs in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, should be anticipated and dealt with jointly between the government and the community. Flood disasters that are detrimental to both materially and non materially should be given the main attention of all parties and should be taught to students, so that flood prevention can be faster and more precise. This research is a type of survey research with a quantitative descriptive approach. This survey study aims to describe the perceptions of elementary school teachers on flood disaster mitigation and their understanding of disaster mitigation education. The results of this study state that all elementary school teachers in the North Jakarta area who are affected by rob water state that they have never provided a simulation to their students regarding the way to deal with flood water. Although 35% of respondents stated that they had received a flood prevention simulation. Simulations that have been given are only intended for adults, not for elementary school age children. Most teachers have also taught material about disasters, but only a few have specifically discussed rob floods. Keyword : Perception of Elementary Teachers, Disaster Mitigation

Abstract

ction research aims to improve mathematical connection skills in Air Periukan sub-district, Seluma Bengkulu. This research method uses the Action Research Method. The subjects in this study were class VI elementary school students, amounting to 25 students. This research was conducted for one month, this study consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted of four meetings. In the first cycle there was an increase in good movement in children, but there were still children who had not yet completed the increase in mathematical connection skills with 15 in criteria are less, 10 children are included in the criteria of good. .In the second cycle based on the results of teacher assessment and an increase in cyclical 2 with a number of 16 good students and 9 students who are lacking. In the third cycle declared complete. From this study it can be concluded that through the RME approach can improve mathematical connection skills in class VI students of SD 83 Seluma elementary school

Abstract

Abstract: Mathematical learning media in the form of videos with a Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach was developed aimed at overcoming the problems experienced by mathematics education students in teaching school 2 mathematics courses which are compulsory subjects. In addition, this learning media in the form of videos is expected to increase students' learning motivation towards school 2 mathematics courses using science and technology. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D) research using the Borg & Gall development model. The stages carried out in this study were (1) initial research and data collection; (2) planning; (3) product draft development; (4) initial field trial; (5) revise the results of the trial; (6) field trials; (7) product improvement resulting from field tests; (8) field implementation test; (9) improvement of the final product; (10) dissemination and implementation. The data collection technique of this study uses the expert team validation sheet and user response questionnaire. The research data analysis used 2 analyzes namely descriptive statistical analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research that have been conducted show that the mathematics learning media in the form of videos with the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach in school 2 mathematics courses are appropriate to be used by lecturers and students.
