Abstract

School-based environmental management in elementary schools is a system that needs to be implemented in an effort to build sustainable character and environmental awareness in schools. This management process consists of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. The purpose of this study was to integrate the environmental management process into school stakeholders in elementary schools. This type of research is library research with document study method. The results of this research regarding elementary school-based environmental management can be integrated with school stakeholders in order to create awareness of a sustainable environment.

Abstract

Learning must be able to accommodate the various potentials that exist in students. Therefore, teachers must be able to use multiple intelligence-based learning strategies. This study aims to describe various learning strategies based on multiple intelligences in elementary schools. The research method used is the literature review method. There are 31 articles reviewed. The article was obtained from search results through google schoolar. The articles analyzed are articles that contain the keywords of multiple intelligence-based learning strategies. The results of the study show that there are 14 (fourteen) multiple intelligence-based learning strategies that are most often used by teachers in elementary schools, namely discussion strategies, action research, classification, analogies, identification, sociodrama, characterizations, flashcards, visual images, puppets, applied learning, movie learning, learning environment, and service learning.

Abstract

Teachers only use lecture method, lack of the cultivation of social caring character value in students, as well as lack of learning media that support the activities of the teaching and learning process in class became the reasons why researcher conducted a new innovation in the development of learning media which is more interesting for students, effective, and efficient in the utilization namely monopoly board game media. This research purpose is to determine the monopoly board game model design based on the social caring character in the Social Studies material content for grade IV students as well as to determine the eligibility of the monopoly board game media model based on the social caring character in the Social Studies material content for grade IV students. The research model used is ADDIE. The data collection is conducted by using interviews, observations and questionnaire techniques. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive methods. This monopoly board game media is considered eligible based on the results of the learning content expert test 77,5% with good qualification, learning design expert test 93,75% with very good qualification, learning media expert test 96,15% with very good qualification, individual trial test 95,83% with very good qualification, and small group trial test 91,66% with good qualification. Based on the data analysis of the validation results obtained, it can be concluded that this Monopoly Board Game Media Based on Social Caring Character is eligible to be used as a learning media in the Social Studies Material Content for Grade IV Elementary School.

Abstract

Education is responsible for integrating, fostering and nurturing in developing the talents and creative abilities of students. What is the teacher's role in fostering children's creativity. This study aims to find out how Flash Card media is to foster children's creativity in learning dance art in elementary schools. The research method uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The result of this research is the teacher makes changes related to the learning process in the focus of behavioristic learning theory, learning methods and Flash Card media in order to develop children's dancing creativity. By using the theory from Wallas through the stages of preparation, incubation, illumination and verification, children can turn into active and creative individuals. Flash Card media is the result of teacher innovation in changing a learning process. This media can bring out the creativity and activeness of children in expressing themselves in the form of a movement so that children can be more active and creative from seeing pictures to dance movements. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as reference material or development for further research.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik pada siswa dengan menggunakan metode yang bervariatif melalui alat peraga yang berupa gambar dan model tiruan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Cipinang Besar Utara 11 PG. Jumlah siswa kelas V SD Cipinang Besar Utara 11 PG berjumlah 29 siswa yang terdiri dari 11 siswa laki-laki dan 18 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Penggunaan media gambar dan model tiruan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dengan bukti :1). Pra Siklus mencapai nilai rata- rata 58.00 2). Siklus I mencapai nilai rata-rata 80,00. 3). Siklus II mencapai nilai rata-rata 90,80. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada proses perbaikan pembelajaran 2 TEMA 5 Sub tema 1 dari siklus I maupun siklus II pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan kompetensi dasar ”Mendeskripsikan hubungan gaya, gerak, dan energi serta fungsinya”. dalam materi Klasifikasi hewan berdasarkan jenis makanannya dengan fokus perbaikan bahwa dengan media gambar dan model tiruan dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of peer assessment in microteaching lectures for elementary school teacher education. This peer assessment is carried out by students using the assessment instruments and indicators that have been prepared. Peer assessment was carried out by groups that did not conduct teaching simulations. The use of peer assessment is used to provide an understanding of what aspects are assessed in practicing basic teaching skills so that students can adjust to get optimal assessments so that basic teaching skills can be improved. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The indicator of the success of this research is marked by the increase in student learning outcomes, especially in the aspect of basic teaching skills that have reached good criteria. The results of this study indicate that the teaching and learning process using peer assessment can improve learning outcomes in microteaching lectures. This is evidenced by an increase in learning outcomes in the psychomotor aspect, namely basic teaching skills. The results of peer assessment are then used as input and consideration in evaluating students in microteaching learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the intensity of the influence of smartphones on children's behavior. The impact of the intensity of the influence of smartphones on children's behavior has a bad impact on children's behavior if it is not balanced with proper supervision. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods as a stage in carrying out research. This study was carried out in Cijoho by taking the subject of parents of children and children of smartphone users as the subject of the study. This research used data collection techniques including the observation, interview, documentation and recording stages. The results showed that the use of smartphones by children is based on individual needs, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, children's learning is all online. Smartphones can be a means of learning and entertainment for children because they provide a lot of needed information. In addition to these beneficial things, the continued use of smartphones has a bad impact on children's behavior.

Abstract

Keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang dapat memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pecahan di kelas menjadi alasan peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan aplikasi berbasis Smart Apss Creator yang mudah dipelajari digunakan seperti membuat presentasi serta banyak fitur menarik di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu ingin mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan Smart Apps Creator untuk mata pelajaran matematika pada materi pecahan kelas 4 sd. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu 4D. Data yang didapatkan menggunakan hasil dari angket dan observasi. Dengan sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas 4 SDN Pesanggrahan 10 Pagi. Mendapatkan hasil validasi media sebesar 90% dengan kategori sangat layak sedangkan validasi materi mendapatkan presentase sebesar 82% dengan kategori sangat layak sedangkan validasi Bahasa mendapatkan presentase sebesar 100% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dengan begitu media pembelajaran pecehan berkontribusi dengan baik dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi pecahan.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis dengan memakai penelitian Eksperimen. Penelitian yang dicoba ini dengan memakai pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode statistik serta deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana ataupun sejauh mana hubungan antara supervisi akademik dengan kompetensi profesional serta kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Memandang sebagian fenomena dalam sekolah terkhusus dikala guru mengajar, secara tidak langsung, profesionalisasi serta kinerja guru dalam mengajar ini menjadi keperluan yang sangat berarti sebab mewajibkan tenaga pendidik untuk tingkatkan mutu kompetensi dan keahlian dalam melaksanakan pelayanan semaksimal mungkin. Untuk menanggulangi kasus tersebut maka perlu dicoba sebuah tindakan ialah dengan melaksanakan pembimbingan. Proses pembimbingan tersebut bisa dilakukan dengan suatu program supervisi dengan kepala sekolah yang memperankan peran penting dalam memastikan penerapannya. Ada pula manfaat dalam melaksanakan supervisi ialah kepala sekolah serta guru dapat saling membagikan kritik serta masukan demi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional, kinerja, kemajuan sekolah serta perkembangan siswa dalam belajar.

Abstract

During the covid-19 pandemic, students in Indonesia conduct online learning from home as an effort to socially distancing. Mathematics anxiety is tension, a force that interferes with students in solving problems contained in math problems. This study aims to describe students' math anxiety in the covid-19 era and find solutions to overcome math anxiety. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire using the Guttman scale type with two alternative choices, namely Yes and No for students' mathematics anxiety. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the category of students' mathematics anxiety level (low, medium, high) with the majority of students being in the medium category of mathematics anxiety.
