Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media assisted by Doratoon based on Batak culture in Mathematics subjects on KPK and FPB materials for grade V students of SD Negeri 067243 Medan Selayang, and to determine the feasibility of the developed media products. The research method used is development research (Research and Development) by using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely:Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, And Evaluation. Data collection instruments in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study was a questionnaire given to several expert reviewers, namely material expert reviewers, media expert reviewers and teacher and student responses. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the developed learning media is very feasible to be used in the learning process with the results of validation from material expert reviewers obtaining a percentage of 90.66%, media experts obtaining a percentage of 86.36%, student responses obtaining results of 98.28%, and teacher responses obtaining results of 95%. This media not only enriches mathematics learning with a local cultural contextual approach, but also increases student engagement and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek imunomodulator dari ekstrak daun singkong terhadap peningkatan jumlah monosit pada mencit yang diinduksi dengan padi. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menggunakan dua kelompok mencit: kelompok kontrol negatif dan kelompok perlakuan (P). Kelompok kontrol tidak menerima ekstrak daun singkong, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan menerima ekstrak daun singkong dengan dosis tertentu. Jumlah monosit diukur pada kedua kelompok setelah periode perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun singkong secara signifikan meningkatkan jumlah monosit pada kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun singkong memiliki potensi sebagai imunomodulator dengan meningkatkan aktivitas sistem kekebalan tubuh melalui peningkatan jumlah monosit.

Abstract

Environmental problems have now become a global issue faced by almost all countries, including Indonesia. One joint effort to overcome environmental problems is through the education sector called Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This research aims to analyze research trends and good practices regarding implementing ESD in the learning process at schools or universities through a systematic literature review study. A total of 29 from 576 research articles discussing the integration of ESD in learning were analyzed in this research. Articles were collected using the Publish or Perish application with the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The results of the analysis show that the learning approach is student-centered, uses a variety of methods, utilizes the latest technology, is collaborative, holistic, creates sustainable values; and is oriented towards developing local potential is a recommended learning design in implementing ESD effectively. Challenges such as limited human resources in schools or universities that understand the concept of ESD integration in learning are still the main obstacles to implementing ESD in classroom learning. These findings are expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of relevant and future-oriented education.

Abstract

Science literacy skills involve the application of science, the ability to recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions through existing data that need to be instilled since elementary school. Guided inquiry is an alternative learning approach that has proven effective in encouraging students' science literacy, especially in studying the topic of the solar system. This study examines the effect of guided inquiry assisted by augmented reality flashcards to encourage the improvement of science literacy in students at the primary education level. This research design applies a pre-experimental one-group pre-test-post-test because there is only one rombel at SDN 02 Kedung Jepara, with 24 grade VI students as samples. Research instruments in the form of pre-test and post-test using 16 multiple choice questions that have been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of the Paired Samples T-Test test, there is a significant difference in pretest and posttest scores, indicated by an average value of -21.61458 and the acquisition of significance results (Sig. 2-tailed) 0.000. The increase in the average score from 57 to 79 confirms that guided inquiry has an effect in improving science literacy.

Abstract

This study examines the issue of students' low understanding of chemical elements at the MTsN 1 Nganjuk, which is influenced by the abstract nature of the material and the lack of interactivity in its presentation. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of PUZDIK (Periodic Table Puzzle) as a gamification-based learning medium in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding in science. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research involved 33 eighth-grade students from MTsN 1 Nganjuk, selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used were essay-type questions for both pretest and posttest, analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and N-Gain calculation. The results showed a significant improvement between pretest and posttest scores, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), and N-Gain scores categorized as high (≥ 0.82), with an average increase reaching 100%. These findings indicate that the PUZDIK media is effective in strengthening students’ conceptual understanding in science. The implication of this study highlights the importance of developing learning media that integrate visual elements and gamification to foster a more engaging, active, and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 02 Kedung, which were presumed to be caused by conventional teaching methods that did not actively involve students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject, particularly on the topic of changes in the state of matter. The research employed a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The test instruments were validated through a trial process to ensure their feasibility. The results showed that the average student score increased from 60.64 in the pretest to 71.35 in the posttest, with a paired sample t-test significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05). This indicates a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the inquiry learning model. The model encouraged students to be more active in the learning process through activities such as observing, questioning, and drawing conclusions. These findings demonstrate that the inquiry learning model is effective in IPAS learning as it improves conceptual understanding and fosters more meaningful and contextual learning experiences.

Abstract

The Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture changed the curriculum from the 2013 curriculum to the Independent Learning Curriculum. The term "independent learning" refers to a policy prepared by the government to improve the quality of education, which will ultimately create superior students and university students who are ready to face the very complex challenges of the future. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using interactive animated video media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN Tambakrigadung II Lamongan. The method used was a quasi-experimental design. This research type is quantitative, and the design used in this study is a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This study was conducted in the even semester. The sample in this study were fifth-grade students of SDN Tambakrigadung II Lamongan. Data collection techniques used were tests (pretest and posttest) and documentation. The results of this study showed that the average (mean) posttest score of students in the experimental class was 85.50 with a standard deviation of 1.850, while in the control class the average was 77.20 with a standard deviation of 2.142. This difference in averages indicates that students in the experimental class who used interactive animated video media achieved higher learning outcomes than students in the control class who did not use such media. Abstract

This development research purpose to design, analyze the validity and practicality of content differentiated student worksheets in a discovery learning setting on topic of the excretory system for grade XI senior high school students. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages, analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The implementation stage was not conducted, and the evaluation focused on formative evaluation. The study was conducted at SMAN 1 Kubutambahan. The validity test used the Gregory formula with 2 material experts and 2 media experts as respondents. Based on the experts assessment, the Gregory Validity Coefficient (GVC) reached 0,98 Indicating that the LKPD met valid criteria. The practicality test was conducted with 3 Biology teachers and 10 students of class XI SMAN 1 Kubutambahan. The practicality score by teacher was 85,9% and by students was 87,4%, both categorized as highly practical. These results indicate that the content differentiated LKPD develop using the discovery learning model for the excretory system material is very valid and highly practicalfor use in the learning process.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) adalah jenjang pendidikan sebelum jenjang pendidikan dasar yang merupakan suatu upaya pembinaan yang ditujukan bagi anak sejak lahir sampai dengan usia enam tahun yang dilakukan melalui pemberian rangsangan pendidikan untuk membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan jasmani dan rohani agar anak memiliki kesiapan dalam memasuki pendidikan lebih lanjut, yang diselenggarakan pada jalur formal, nonformal, dan informal. Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini juga berfungsi membina, menumbuhkan, dan mengembangkan seluruh potensi yang dimiliki anak pada usia dini secara optimal sehingga terbentuk perilaku dan kemampuan dasar sesuai dengan tahap perkembangannya agar memiliki kesiapan untuk memasuki pendidikan selanjutnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research atau penelitian kepustakaan. Abstract

This study analyzes the seismicity parameters of Lombok Island using ZMAP 7.1 to better understand the region’s earthquake characteristics. The results indicate a high level of seismic activity, with an a-value of 10.257 and an annual a-value of 8.743, corresponding to an average of approximately nine earthquakes per year. The calculated b-value of 1.58 ± 0.07 also reflects high seismicity, suggesting that rocks in the study area have a limited capacity to withstand stress and store energy, thereby favoring the occurrence of low-magnitude events. Conversely, zones with lower b-values are relatively stronger and capable of generating higher-magnitude earthquakes. The predominance of moderate to high b-values across Lombok Island indicates that much of the accumulated energy was released during the 2018 earthquake sequence associated with the Flores back-arc thrust.
