Abstract

This research aims to provide an example of the application of the fluid concept to the Kaffah aspect. Kaffah aspects in clude religion, process, concept, application and meaning. The application of the fluid concept to the Kaffah concept was obtained from literature studies by searching, studying and analyzing and finding a connection between the fluid concept found and the Kaffah aspect. The method in this research is literature review. The research results exemplify the concepts of floating-sink fluids, pressure, aircraft lifting force, density, Bernoulli's principle, Archimedes' law, continuity equation, viscosity and Pascal's law applied to aspects of Kaffah. Science learning is not just about developing science, but also instilling, growing and developing character in students. They are expected to be able to recognize the creator or determiner of nature and all the phenomena that occur to it through the natural laws and scientific theories studied. By getting to know ALLAH SWT through scientific studies, it is hoped that students will be amazed or in awe of Him. This feeling makes them believe and obey Him so that it influences their character in everyday life.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of forest conversion into corn land, analyze related policies and regulations and develop recommendations for sustainable land management strategies. The method in this research was carried out using a library review method or literature study and analyzing various relevant reading materials, journals, books and documents. The limitation of this research is the conversion of forest land into corn farming land. The location of this research was carried out in Bima Regency. Land conversion in this area occurs due to unsustainable agricultural practices, increasing economic needs and lack of clear policies regarding land conversion. The results of the analysis show that the impacts resulting from the conversion of forests into corn farming in Bima Regency are deforestation, soil erosion, changes in water quality, floods and droughts as well as loss of biodiversity. Conservation efforts need to be carried out which can involve the community's active role in achieving ecosystem balance. Efforts that can be recommended are the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices such as agroforestry as well as providing education and training to the community as well as creating policies that can encourage this to achieve a balance of sustainable use and sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to develop mathematics teaching materials using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model based on ethnomathematics to improve elementary school students’ numeracy literacy skills. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN 067775 Medan Johor. The results show that the developed mathematics teaching materials using the ethnomathematics-based RME model achieved a very valid category, with average validation scores of 86.60% from teaching material experts, 88.30% from teaching module experts, and 89.06% from content experts. The numeracy literacy test obtained a validity score of 81.81%, resulting in an overall average validity score of 86.44%, categorized as very valid. The teaching materials also met the effectiveness criteria, with a student response questionnaire result of 94% and student absorption rate of 96.42%, yielding an average effectiveness score of 95.21%. Therefore, the ethnomathematics-based teaching materials using the RME model are considered effective. Furthermore, the practicality criterion was fulfilled, as shown by the lesson implementation observation sheet, which scored 93.54%, categorized as well-implemented. In conclusion, the developed teaching materials are valid, effective, and practical for use in learning and can improve students' numeracy literacy skills by 28%.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the forms and contributions of integrating local wisdom into physics learning to improve students' scientific literacy. The background of this review is the low level of scientific literacy in Indonesia, as indicated by the 2018 PISA data, highlighting the need for contextual approaches in education, including the use of local wisdom. The method used is a systematic literature review guided by the PRISMA framework, involving identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion of articles from Scopus, ERIC, and Google Scholar databases for the 2020–2025 period. From 19,534 documents initially identified, 15 articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The findings reveal that the forms of local wisdom integration include traditional tools, cultural ceremonies, local foods, traditional houses, and social values, all connected to physics topics such as motion, heat, pressure, and energy. This integration has been proven to enhance students’ scientific literacy across four dimensions: cognitive (conceptual understanding), procedural (scientific skills), affective (attitudes toward science and culture), and contextual (ability to relate science to real-life situations). The findings affirm that local wisdom holds significant potential as a relevant and humanistic learning approach aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This review is expected to serve as a foundation for developing more systematic and applicable models of physics learning based on local culture at the secondary school level.

Abstract

This research aims to develop ethnomathematics-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on flat shapes using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model to increase the learning interest of fourth-grade elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development, with the subjects being fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 064955 and the object being the developed LKPD. The results of trials on 20 students showed an average score of 3.75, which is categorized as very practical, with students feeling happy because the material is presented in familiar cultural stories and fun activities. The responses of teachers and students to the development of this LKPD were very positive, the validity level of the LKPD was very high, and it was effective in increasing students' learning interest, so this LKPD is suitable for use as an innovative learning medium in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on improving student learning outcomes in science subjects for grade VIII, especially Newton's Law material, and to identify the challenges faced in its implementation. The study used a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design, which compared student learning outcomes before and after the implementation of PBL. Data were collected through objective tests. The results showed an increase in the average student score from 69 (less category) to 74.6 (good category) after the implementation of PBL. Data analysis using paired sample correlation tests showed a significant relationship between conventional learning methods and PBL, with a significance value of 0.000

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the learning environment on students' learning outcomes in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subject for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 230 Palembang. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method, specifically using a True Experimental Design in the form of a Posttest-Only Control Design. The research subjects included two fourth-grade classes from different academic years: 2020/2021 and 2024/2025, each consisting of 28 students. The independent variable in this study is the learning environment, while the dependent variable is students' learning outcomes in the IPAS subject. Learning outcomes were assessed through semester report card scores, and students' perceptions of the learning environment were measured using a questionnaire. The findings revealed that the average report card score for the 2020/2021 class was 81.29, which is categorized as "Good", whereas the average score for the 2024/2025 class was 89.68, categorized as "Very Good". Additionally, the questionnaire results indicated that 81.67% of students in the 2024/2025 class rated the learning environment as "Very Attractive". These results suggest a significant improvement in learning outcomes corresponding with enhancements in the learning environment. The majority of students showed clear satisfaction and strong adaptation to the improved learning environment. Based on these findings, it is recommended that teachers utilize appropriate and engaging learning environments to effectively enhance students’ learning outcomes and overall educational experience.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of a scientific approach assisted by portfolio assessment on science learning achievement in terms of students' cognitive styles. The research population was class IV students at SD Gugus V Cakranegara, totaling 239 people. The sample was taken using a random sampling technique totaling 68 people. This research is quasi-experimental with a 2x2 factorial design. Science learning achievement data was collected using learning achievement tests and cognitive style was collected using GEFT. Data analysis used Anava AB with the F test. The results showed that: (1) There was a difference in science learning achievement between students who took learning using a scientific approach assisted by portfolio assessment and students who took learning with a conventional approach (FA calculated = 10.768, with p < 0.05), (2) There was an interaction effect between the implementation of a learning approach with a cognitive style on science learning achievement (FA calculated = 50.840, with p < 0.05), (3) There was a difference in achievement science learning between students who took learning with a scientific approach assisted by portfolio assessment and students who took learning with a conventional approach in students with a field independent cognitive style with Qcount = 10.413 and p < 0.05, (4) There was a difference in science learning achievement between students who took learning with a scientific approach assisted by portfolio assessment and students who took learning with a conventional approach among students with a field dependent cognitive style with Qcount = 3.85 and p

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital flipbook media based on local wisdom that is valid, practical, and effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills in IPAS learning for fourth-grade students at SDN Inpres Rasabou. The approach taken in this study is Research and Development, following the ADDIE framework that consists of the phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at SDN Inpres Rasabou. Data collection techniques used expert validation questionnaires, student and teacher response questionnaires, as well as pretest and posttest assessments. The results showed that the digital flipbook media based on local wisdom obtained a material expert validation score of 90% (very valid) and a media expert validation score of 93% (very valid). Student responses were 93.33% and teacher responses were 100% (very practical). The pretest and posttest results showed a significant improvement with a n N-Gain score of 0.686, classified as moderate approaching high. Thus, this media valid, practical, and affective to be used to enhance critical thinking skills among elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to predict the unemployment rate in Central Java Province using a linear regression method based on indicators of education level and economic growth. Secondary data from 2024, collected from various regencies and cities in Central Java, were analyzed to examine the relationship between the independent variables—education level and economic growth—and the dependent variable, unemployment rate. The analysis results show that an increase in the average years of schooling significantly reduces the unemployment rate, while economic growth also contributes to lowering unemployment, although its effect is smaller and varies across regions. The developed linear regression model is able to explain most of the variation in the unemployment rate and is used to project unemployment trends up to 2027, with a predicted decline in unemployment, assuming continued improvement in education quality and stable economic growth. These findings emphasize the importance of synergy between enhancing education quality and inclusive economic growth as key strategies to reduce unemployment in Central Java. However, unemployment is a complex issue influenced by other factors such as infrastructure, regional policies, and workforce readiness, thus requiring a comprehensive approach. This study is expected to provide a foundation for formulating more targeted policies to alleviate unemployment in the region.
