Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta keefektifan media video interaktif berbasis etnosains dalam meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) kelas IV di SDN Manggekompo. Latar belakang penelitian didasari oleh rendahnya kreativitas belajar siswa akibat metode pembelajaran yang masih dominan bersifat ceramah dan minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan pengembangan media video interaktif yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai etnosains lokal Bima pada materi “Gaya di Sekitar Kita”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, sedangkan uji kepraktisan melibatkan guru dan siswa. Keefektifan media diuji melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan instrumen kreativitas yang mencakup enam indikator. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif-deskriptif dan didukung oleh uji statistik parametrik (paired samples t-test). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media tergolong sangat layak, dengan skor rata-rata 4.75 (media) dan 4.73 (materi). Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa merespon positif terhadap kemudahan penggunaan dan keterlibatan belajar yang ditimbulkan. Secara keefektifan, terdapat peningkatan skor kreativitas pada seluruh indikator, dengan kenaikan tertinggi sebesar 0.518 poin. Uji t-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada dua indikator (p < 0.001), serta terjadi penurunan koefisien variasi yang menandakan peningkatan konsistensi capaian siswa. Kesimpulannya, media video interaktif berbasis etnosains ini layak, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam inovasi pembelajaran IPA kontekstual di sekolah dasar berbasis nilai-nilai budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa kelas III di SDN Inpres O’o, Kabupaten Bima. Keterampilan generik sains mencakup kemampuan dasar berpikir ilmiah seperti observasi, klasifikasi, pengukuran, integrasi konsep, prediksi, penarikan kesimpulan, komunikasi, dan perancangan. Masih lemahnya penguasaan keterampilan ini mendorong perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang mendorong eksplorasi dan berpikir sistematis sejak dini. Penelitian menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel terdiri atas 10 siswa yang dipilih secara purposif. Perlakuan berupa pembelajaran menggunakan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan panduan LKPD diberikan dalam beberapa sesi, yang mencakup tahapan orientasi hingga evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen penilaian berbasis skala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis menggunakan uji paired samples t-test dan penghitungan Cohen’s d. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest pada seluruh indikator (p > 0,05). Namun, nilai effect size tertinggi ditemukan pada indikator klasifikasi (d = 0,404) dan observasi (d = 0,289), yang menunjukkan adanya potensi perubahan praktis meski tidak signifikan secara statistik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan LKPD memiliki potensi pengembangan, khususnya dalam mendorong keberanian siswa berpikir dan berbicara ilmiah. Keterbatasan pelaksanaan menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelatihan guru serta penyempurnaan LKPD yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa usia dini dan kondisi lokal sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of using X-ray equipment as a practical media in improving the competence of students of the Airport Management Study Program. The research method uses a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the Airport Management Study Programme, MBU 04 class. This research involved lecturers and students. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling technique according to data needs. Data collection was conducted through three techniques, namely observation, interview, and documentation study. To analyse the data, this study adopted the Miles and Huberman model which includes four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the use of X-ray equipment can improve students' theoretical understanding and practical skills in terms of baggage security checks. Lecturers and students stated that hands-on practice with X-ray helped understand real airport security procedures. However, the study also identified some obstacles such as the limited number of equipment and the need for technological updates to adapt to modern airport standards that already use CT Scan systems and AI-based detection. The conclusion of this study is that X-ray equipment as a practical medium in learning can improve student competence.

Abstract

Problem solving skills are important skills that must be possessed by students since elementary school level, in science learning, this skill is very important to help students understand scientific concepts and apply them in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to improve problem solving skills in science learning on the characteristics of living things. The research location was SDN Risa. Quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design that did not use a control group. The subjects in this study were all third grade students consisting of 20 students. The data collection technique used in this study was a test. The test instrument consisted of 10 essay questions, an initial test (pretest) and a final test (posttest) which aimed to determine students' problem solving skills before and after treatment, a questionnaire to determine students' responses to crossword puzzle media and observations to understand student interactions and their responses to crossword puzzle media. The data analysis used was the N-Gain test which showed a value of 0.76 which was included in the moderate category and the effectiveness level score was in the fairly effective category, thus the crossword puzzle media was effectively used in improving students' problem-solving skills at SDN Risa where the average pretest score was 57% and the average posttest score was 90%..

Abstract

Kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan promosi wisata di Sembalun semakin meningkat. Saat ini, promosi Sembalun hanya dilakukan melalui media sosial tanpa adanya media yang secara khusus memperkenalkan Sembalun secara detail. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web sebagai media promosi wisata yang efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Waterfall yang meliputi tahapan analisis, desain, coding dan pengujian, implementasi, serta pemeliharaan. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sembalun Timba Gading, Kecamatan Sembalun, dengan melibatkan 27 responden, terdiri dari 2 ahli IT dan 25 masyarakat setempat. Pengujian kelayakan dan kualitas sistem dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner berdasarkan standar ISO 25010 dengan lima indikator utama, yaitu functionality, efficiency, usability, maintainability, dan portability. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa indikator functionality memperoleh nilai baik (skor 1), efficiency mencapai 75% (kategori B), usability sebesar 86,7% (sangat layak), maintainability memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan, dan portability berhasil dengan kategori memuaskan. Dengan demikian, sistem informasi ini layak digunakan sebagai media promosi wisata di Desa Sembalun.

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media assisted by Doratoon based on Batak culture in Mathematics subjects on KPK and FPB materials for grade V students of SD Negeri 067243 Medan Selayang, and to determine the feasibility of the developed media products. The research method used is development research (Research and Development) by using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely:Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, And Evaluation. Data collection instruments in this study were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study was a questionnaire given to several expert reviewers, namely material expert reviewers, media expert reviewers and teacher and student responses. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the developed learning media is very feasible to be used in the learning process with the results of validation from material expert reviewers obtaining a percentage of 90.66%, media experts obtaining a percentage of 86.36%, student responses obtaining results of 98.28%, and teacher responses obtaining results of 95%. This media not only enriches mathematics learning with a local cultural contextual approach, but also increases student engagement and motivation to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efek imunomodulator dari ekstrak daun singkong terhadap peningkatan jumlah monosit pada mencit yang diinduksi dengan padi. Dalam penelitian ini, kami menggunakan dua kelompok mencit: kelompok kontrol negatif dan kelompok perlakuan (P). Kelompok kontrol tidak menerima ekstrak daun singkong, sedangkan kelompok perlakuan menerima ekstrak daun singkong dengan dosis tertentu. Jumlah monosit diukur pada kedua kelompok setelah periode perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun singkong secara signifikan meningkatkan jumlah monosit pada kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun singkong memiliki potensi sebagai imunomodulator dengan meningkatkan aktivitas sistem kekebalan tubuh melalui peningkatan jumlah monosit.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop valid, practical, and effective outdoor learning-based worksheets to improve critical thinking skills of junior high school students. This study is a type of research and development, which in its implementation uses the ADDIE stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the validation of the worksheets product showed an average validation result of 99 with a very valid category. This means that this outdoor learning-based worksheets is feasible to be applied in learning activities. The results of the practicality test through the learning implementation questionnaire showed an average observation result of 91.37 which shows that the outdoor learning-based worksheets is practical to be applied in learning activities. The effectiveness of the outdoor learning-based worksheets as seen based on the N-Gain value is in the high category (very effective) with an N-Gain score > 0.7. This means that the outdoor learning-based worksheets is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of differentiated instruction on student learning outcomes in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for Grade IV at SD Negeri 247 Palembang. The background of this research is based on the low student achievement in the topic "Me and My Needs" and the suboptimal application of instructional strategies that address individual differences. Differentiated instruction is an approach that adapts the process, content, and product of learning based on students’ readiness, interests, and learning profiles. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 60 students selected through simple random sampling and divided into two groups: the experimental class (using differentiated instruction) and the control class (using conventional instruction). Data were collected through validated pretest and posttest essay-type questions. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an Independent Sample T-Test with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed that the average score of students in the experimental class increased from 40.67 to 71.27, while in the control class it increased from 28.8 to 55.00. The t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, it can be concluded that differentiated instruction has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes. This study recommends that teachers implement more differentiated instruction strategies to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Environmental problems have now become a global issue faced by almost all countries, including Indonesia. One joint effort to overcome environmental problems is through the education sector called Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This research aims to analyze research trends and good practices regarding implementing ESD in the learning process at schools or universities through a systematic literature review study. A total of 29 from 576 research articles discussing the integration of ESD in learning were analyzed in this research. Articles were collected using the Publish or Perish application with the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The results of the analysis show that the learning approach is student-centered, uses a variety of methods, utilizes the latest technology, is collaborative, holistic, creates sustainable values; and is oriented towards developing local potential is a recommended learning design in implementing ESD effectively. Challenges such as limited human resources in schools or universities that understand the concept of ESD integration in learning are still the main obstacles to implementing ESD in classroom learning. These findings are expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of relevant and future-oriented education.
