Abstract

Metaphorical Thinking telah menjadi salah satu pendekatan pembelajaran dalam pendidikan matematika selama lima tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tren penelitian tentang Pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking dalam pendidikan dan pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Artikel dikumpulkan dari basis data Google Scholar menggunakan Publish or Perish 8 dan dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang ketat, sehingga menghasilkan 18 artikel yang relevan. Analisis ini mengungkap tren penelitian dalam pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking dengan aplikasi yang beragam dan efektif, khususnya dalam mendukung keterampilan abad ke-21 seperti kemampuan koneksi matematika, keterampilan komunikasi matematika, keterampilan penalaran, keterampilan pemecahan masalah aljabar, dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Namun, terdapat kesenjangan dalam integrasi teknologi yang optimal dan konteks yang lebih inklusif dalam menerapkan Pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dengan memetakan tren penelitian dan mengidentifikasi peluang penelitian di masa mendatang untuk meningkatkan efektivitas Pendekatan Metaphorical Thinking dalam pendidikan dan pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

The problem of interrelationships between steps in solving mathematical problems is still a challenge in learning at the elementary school level. Many students have not been able to formulate solutions logically and completely due to a lack of reflective awareness of their thinking process. This study aims to describe the process of implementing reflective learning through mathematics learning journals and to analyze its impact on the interrelationships between students' thinking steps in problem solving. The study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was carried out in two cycles on fifth grade elementary school students with a total of 26 students as subjects. The instruments used included observation sheets, interview guidelines, problem-solving tests, and reflective journal assessment rubrics. The results showed that the implementation of reflective journals gradually increased the clarity of the sequence of steps (from 60% to 75%), the rationale for strategies (35% to 60%), and the identification of difficulties (25% to 55%). The average problem-solving test score also increased from 68 to 82. These findings indicate that reflective learning through learning journals is effective in strengthening logical understanding between steps and encouraging students' metacognitive awareness in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop the Kaffah learning model, which will be accompanied by supporting tools and learning resources, with the aim of enhancing metacognition, character, and scientific attitudes among students. The supporting components of the Kaffah learning model, which have been developedThe product that will be applied is a product that is already feasible, which is already valid and tested. The research was conducted using the Borg and Gall model development research method, which involved the following steps: research and information collection, planning, developing a preliminary form of the product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision, dissemination and implementation. The response questionnaire of educators and students to the product was utilized to evaluate its practicality. Observation sheets were utilized to assess learning implementation, validity, and reliability. Moderation techniques were employed to evaluate learning and project assessment. Finally, the success of projects made by students was evaluated through the use of a project assessment. The data was subjected to various analyses, including a feasibility test, a practicality test, and an effectiveness test. The latter was conducted using N-Gain, with the results subsequently confirmed by an independent t-test and a multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA) test. The findings demonstrated that the Kaffah learning model, when accompanied by supporting devices and learning, is both valid and reliable. Consequently, it can be concluded that the model is a feasible option for use in learning.

Abstract

IPA merupakan salah satu pembelajaran di SD. Peserta didik sering mengalami kesulitan memahami konsep IPA dan tidak memiliki motivasi untuk belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep IPA dan mendorong mereka untuk belajar tentang materi energi yang bergerak. Tempat penelitian SDN Inpres 2 Lanta. Penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan dengan desain quasi eksperimen, satu kelompok pretest-posttest. 24 siswa di kelas empat adalah subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi metode tes. Instrumen tes terdiri dari soal pilihan ganda pretest dan posttest yang bertujuan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep IPA siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan dan qusioner untuk mengukur motivasi belajar siswa. Instrumen yang hasil uji Paired Samples t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (t(23) = -3.176, p = 0.004). Nilai rata-rata skor posttest lebih tinggi yaitu sebesar 70.83% sedangkan nilai prettest sebesar 56.67% dan menandakan ada perubahan yang signifikan skor posstest lebih tinggi dibandingkan skor pretest dengan selisih rata-rata sebesar -14.167 (SE = 4.461). Hasil deskriptif terhadap enam indikator motivasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata masing-masing indikator berada di atas angka 4.6 dari skala maksimum 5.0. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar setelah diberikan perlakuan/intervensi pembelajaran.Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran Wordwall dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPA dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the profile of students' critical thinking skills on vibration material with the implementation of the Learning Cycle 5E model. Quantitative research method quasi-experimental single-group pretest-posttest design. The study included 30 students from class VIII-3 SMP Negeri 1 Palangka Raya in the academic year 2024/2025 who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The measurement instrument was an essay test consisting of eight question items constructed based on the dimensions of critical thinking skills. The results of data analysis revealed that the mean score of the baseline pretest measurement of students' critical thinking skills reached 34 which then experienced enhancement to 59.43 in the endpoint posttest measurement. Computation of normalized gain score resulted in a mean value of 0.372 which is categorized as improvement with moderate magnitude. The conclusion on the research results shows that the implementation of the Learning Cycle 5E model has a positive impact on the cultivation of students' critical thinking skills, especially in the context of vibration material in science learning. For further research, the implementation of the Learning Cycle 5E model is carried out on different materials with more samples, and integrates qualitative analysis to understand the cognitive mechanisms involved in the process of improving students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Ecology is a reciprocal relationship between organisms and their environment. This includes humans who were created by Allah, and entrusted with great responsibility as caliphs to prosper all life on earth. However, in reality, most humans do not realize that the relationship between humans and the environment is a relationship that has been determined and regulated by God. So in this study, the focus of the researcher's discussion is on how the nature of Islam views an ecological system. To facilitate this research, the researcher formulated the main problem, namely, how is the correlation between human life and the environment? And what is the nature of humans and the environment in the perspective of Islamic ecology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep dari mahasiswa berdasarkan teori APOS. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa semester II yang sedang menerima materi integral dan dipilih masing-masing 2 mahasiswa berdasarkan kemampuan matematis tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes tertulis pemahaman konsep matematis yang terdiri dari tiga soal uraian dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan subjek dengan kategori kemampuan pemahaman tinggi memilki pemahan tahap Aksi, Proses. Untuk mahasiswa kategori kemampuan pemahaman sedang memiliki pemahaman tahap Aksi. Kemudian untuk mahasiswa kategori kemampuan pemahaman rendah hanya memiliki pemahaman tahap Aksi. Jadi dapat diambil simpulan yaitu 1).ketiga kategori kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa memiliki tahap Aksi. 2) Terdapat satu subjek kemampuan matematika tinggi yang memenuhi tahap aksi, proses. 3). Kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kalkulus II masih lemah, hanya terpaku pada paham rumus dan cara penyelesaian. Berdasarkan Temuan masalah yang berkaitan dengan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dan diperkuat oleh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa, seperti metode pembelajaran, latar belakang matematika yang memperkuat operasi aljabar, dan gaya belajar. Jadi solusi yang sesuai pada proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yaitu evaluasi yang berkelanjutan secara berkala untuk memantau pemahaman mahasiswa dengan menganalisis menggunakan teori APOS sehingga dapat lebih mendalam menganalisis pemahaman konsep dari mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi assessment as learning berbasis Padlet dan menganalisis perkembangan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa berdasarkan tiga aspek utama dalam assessment as learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Padlet digunakan sebagai media refleksi dan interaksi, di mana mahasiswa dapat memantau pemahamannya sendiri, memberi umpan balik kepada teman sejawat, serta terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Data diperoleh melalui dokumentasi aktivitas mahasiswa di Padlet, hasil refleksi, dan observasi keterlibatan mahasiswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Padlet mendukung keterlibatan aktif, peningkatan kemampuan refleksi diri, dan kualitas umpan balik antarmahasiswa. Secara keseluruhan, assessment as learning berbasis Padlet terbukti efektif dalam mendorong pembelajaran yang lebih partisipatif dan bermakna.

Abstract

Twenty-first century science education demands instructional approaches that simultaneously develop conceptual understanding and applied skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in science education through a systematic literature review. The research method involved rigorous analysis of 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2017 and 2024, selected through strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis revealed three key findings: (1) PjBL effectively enhances student engagement and conceptual understanding in science learning; (2) the model significantly contributes to the development of 21st-century skills, particularly critical thinking, collaboration, and scientific literacy; (3) PjBL demonstrates high compatibility with the investigative and contextual nature of science education. The study concludes that PjBL represents an innovative and effective approach for improving science education quality across various educational levels. These findings recommend the development of more operational PjBL implementation guidelines to better support educators in optimally applying this model.

Abstract

Students are more interested in learning mathematics by utilizing technology that is connected to Lampung culture to increase students' knowledge and insight in learning. This study aims to develop a mathematics e-book based on Lampung cultural ethnomathematics in the ability to understand concepts in flat shape material. This study uses a research and development type of research with the ADDIE research model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The development stage involves validators (media expert validators, material expert validators, and question expert validators) to assess the feasibility of good and correct e-books. The implementation stage involves students to test the effectiveness of the e-book using pretest and posttest questions for conceptual understanding. The results of the validation of the e-module by media expert validators, validation by material expert validators, validation by question experts were declared valid by the experts. Meanwhile, the small group attractiveness trial and the large group attractiveness trial were declared very interesting by the students. For the effectiveness test using the N-Gain test and getting a moderate criterion value, it can thus be concluded that the development of a mathematics e-book based on Lampung cultural ethnomathematics in the ability to understand concepts in flat shapes is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding so that students are interested and active during the mathematics learning process which makes students not bored.
