Abstract

Abstract This paper tells about analysis statistics of tahfidz program for students of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang. This research use data prepared by AIK Board UMT which is responsibilitiy of tahfidz program UMT. Based on the data, we intepretating that data into graphic so that we can see the progress of tahfidz program. Using the same data we did statistics analysis as percentage tahfidz progress from 84th untik 88th weeks for every single week. Background why we took this research is because we need something that we can see the progress of tahfidz program. The reason why we took our object research are students from PBSI because thay are disciplines and consistance to this program. The result of this research can be used by AIK as a report to make decision to better forward. Method that we use is quantative statistics which give a result that the progress of tahfidz program likely 0%, 14,28%, 28,57%,42,85%, 57,14%, 71,42%, 85,71% and 100% . Percentage 0 % meaning that students did not use even one day in a week to record they tahfidz remembering. Pecentage 100% meaning that students fully 7 days in a week to record they tahfizd. More over each percentage 14,28%, 28,57%,42,85%, 57,14%, 71,42%, 85,71% meaning that students used 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 days to record they tahfidz. For furthur information about the name of the students with they own tahfidz percentage progres or for the complete result can be seen in this paper chapter discussion and result bellow. Abstract

In recent decades, attention to the preservation of local culture, especially in the context of education, has increased. This research explores ethnomathematics as a bridge between culture and mathematical concepts through traditional games. Ethnomathematics not only functions to understand mathematical concepts in a cultural context, but also to preserve traditions. The method used is a systematic literature study with qualitative analysis of 9 articles published between 2018 and 2024. The findings show that traditional games, such as marbles, congklak, and engklek, contain various mathematical concepts, including geometry, calculation, and logic. The results of this research provide new insights for educators about the importance of cultural context in mathematics learning, and encourage the development of a more inclusive curriculum. In addition, this research contributes to preserving local culture and increasing students' understanding of mathematics. By integrating traditional games in education, it is hoped that mathematics learning will become more interesting and relevant for students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika sering kali dianggap menantang bagi mahasiswa, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan inovatif untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman mereka. Gamifikasi, yaitu penerapan elemen permainan dalam pembelajaran, menjadi salah satu metode yang banyak diterapkan untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman mahasiswa calon guru matematika dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis gamifikasi, terutama pengaruhnya terhadap motivasi belajar dan pemahaman materi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, melibatkan 15 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan wawancara mendalam kepada mahasiswa yang memenuhi kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gamifikasi secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, terutama melalui elemen-elemen permainan seperti tantangan, poin, dan penghargaan. Namun, beberapa mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami aturan permainan yang kompleks, yang mengalihkan fokus mereka dari pemahaman konsep matematika. Oleh karena itu, desain gamifikasi yang sederhana, intuitif, dan relevan dengan materi matematika diperlukan agar pembelajaran matematika lebih efektif.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of students' mathematical reasoning abilities in mathematics learning at Muhammadiyah Kupang Middle School. The research uses descriptive qualitative methods with subjects determined to be 6 children with high, medium and low abilities. on class VIII A level. The data collection techniques used in this research are tests, interviews and documentation. Test sheets and interview sheets. There are three stages of data analysis techniques, namely: Question instrument analysis, Data Clarification, Conclusion drawing, and data validity. Based on the analysis, it was found that there are forms of learning difficulties mathematical reasoning students in learning mathematics (1) Difficulty in calculating squares and rectangles, triangle and quadrilateral theorems, Solving problems related to triangles and quadrilaterals, and Solving problems related to triangles so that it is difficult to work on problems. (2) Difficulty in distinguishing unit numbers, tens, hundreds and thousands, but this difficulty does not match what is experienced by students because there are students who can still work on the questions given and there are still students who still find it difficult to differentiate, (3) Weak ability to identify and solve math story problems, so that students find it difficult to do story problems. There is a fact that the self-confidence of Muhammadiyah Kupang Middle School students is quite positive, but there are still some students who still show an anxious, shy and nervous attitude when asked to answer questions from the teacher

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to determine students’ creative thinking skills at eighth grade of C class in SMP Swasta Muhammadiyah Kupang after applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The subjects of the study were 20 students of VIIIC. The study was conducted in one cycle through four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and tests. The study showed an improvement in learning activities with an average percentage of 91.25%. Based on the test results, the excellent category reached 75% (15 students), the good category with 20% (4 students), and the very poor category was 5% (1 student). Besides, students' creative thinking was increased from the precycle with fluency and flexibility indicators of 28% to 50%, originality and elaboration indicators of 11% to 39%.

Abstract

The research method used in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) with data collection techniques, namely observation and test data analysis techniques, namely qualitative descriptive analysis with 19 subjects with details of 10 male students and 9 female students. This research was conducted at SMP Swadaya Kualeu with the results of the study showing that based on the description of the test results carried out on students, it can be seen the mistakes made by students in solving problems on the addition and subtraction of fractions. Through the results of data analysis, the causes of the mistakes made by students are also known. (1) Misunderstanding in the form of facts, namely Mistakes in applying plus or minus signs and brackets in algebraic forms with a percentage of 70.58 (2) Misunderstanding in the form of concepts, namely Misunderstanding the concept of like and unlike terms with a percentage of 68.62%. (3) Misunderstanding in the form of principles, namely mistakes in understanding the properties that apply to algebraic forms. (4) Errors in understanding in the form of procedures, namely, errors in understanding in completing addition and subtraction of algebraic forms, errors in understanding in completing multiplication, exponentiation of algebraic forms and division of algebraic forms.
