Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses berpikir probabilistik siswa gaya kognitif field dependent dan field independent. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif eksploratif. Subjek dipilih menggunakan instrumen tes GEFT. Akurasi data dalam penelitian diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes pemecahan masalah probabilistik, dan wawancara dengan responden. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dengan aktifitas yang dilakukan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses berpikir probabilistik subjek field dependent dalam menyelesaikan masalah cenderung pada kategori level berpikir subjektif dimana pemikiran subjek terfokus pada aspek-aspek yang tidak relevan dan sebagian besar terikat pada alasan subjektif. Proses berpikir probabilistik subjek field independent dalam menyelesaikan masalah cenderung pada kategori level berpikir kuantitatif informal dimana subjek menunjukkan penggunaan strategi generatif dan menyelaraskan pemikiran mereka tentang ruang sampel. Subjek dalam menentukan besarnya kemungkinan terjadinya suatu kejadian yaitu dengan menggunakan perbandingan, tetapi sebagian pemikiran subjek masih bersifat naive dan seringkali berubah dalam mengkuantifikasi peluang.

Abstract

Islamic Elementary School Students/Elementary school Students need concrete objects in learning process, especially in learning mathematics. An interesting learning media makes students easy in understanding materials. However, there are many teachers still use conventional and traditional media such as textbooks. Teachers should modified the media to suit the this modern era. This study aims to determine the learning outcome of the first-grade students in MIN 3 Tapin using Dakon mathematics media. This study uses quantitative approach and a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all students in MIN 3 Tapin by total 184 people and the sample was the first-grade students in MIN 3 Tapin. Data collection techniques using test, interviews and documentation. Data analysis technique using t-test. The result shows that there as a significant influence between Dakon mathematics media and students learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the result of the t-test, namely t-count was 1,46 and t-table was 2,306. It’s found that t-count was 11,46 >t-table was 2,306 or t-count higher than t-table, its meant that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the application of the PMRI learning model can improve the ability of mathematical connections and mathematics learning interest in SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang students. The research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the PMRI learning model. The subjects and objects in this study were 24 students in class VIIA Muhammadiyah SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang. Data collection techniques and instruments used by researchers are the final test questions to find out the ability of mathematical connections and questionnaire sheets to determine student learning interest. The data analysis technique conducted in this study is to draw conclusions from the data obtained, namely the results of the interview, the results of student evaluation and the questionnaire of mathematics learning interest. The results of research conducted in two cycles showed an increase in the ability of students' connections and learning interest through the PMRI approach. Mathematical connection capability test results increased with initial data with an average of 46.17 to 69.62 in cycle 1 then in cycle 2 to 77.29. And mathematics learning interest from the initial condition 41.66% to 70.83% in cycle 1 then in cycle 2 to 87.5%

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how students’ critical thingking processes in solving mathematical problems on the subject of patterms and sequences of numbers of students at SMP N 3 Fatuleu Tengah Satap. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. Class VIII at SMP N 3 Fatuleu Tengah Satap, in solving patern and number sequence material questions the instrument provided in this study were 1) Critical Thingking test sheets, 2) Interviews, 3) Documentation. Documentation data analysis in this study,namely, 1) Data reducation, 2) presentation of data, 3) drawing conclusion/verivication based on data analysis, it can be concluded that 3 students with high mathematical abilities can go thourgh 4indicators and stages of the critical thingking process consisting of clarification (understand the problem), analysis (analysis the problem). Completion strategies (solving problems), and inference (making conclusions) on medium mathematical abilities students only go through the clarification and analysis stages but do not fulfill the strategy and inference stages and students with low mathematical abilities, namely students who interprect critical thingking on the answer sheet but are incomplete in answering.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of a valid, practical and effective Problem Posing Modelas a learning tool. This research and development study (R&D) with 4-D have some phases, namely: define, design, develop, and desiminate. The data collection technique used test (description/essay) and non-test (tool validation and questionnaire). The data were analyzed through validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires,validation sheets, Lesson Plan, student’s worksheets, and test. The study showed that lesson plan is stated to be very valid with an average score of 90.15 in the k > 80 category andstudent’s worksheets is declared very valid with an average score of 84.58 in the k > 80 category. The students and teachers’ response are stated to be very practical with the average score of 80.55 in the k > 80 category. Besides, the effectiveness is declared effective seen from the students’ learning outcomes with 72% in the 60 ≤ p < 80 category. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning tool developed, Problem Posing Model is declared valid, practical and effective so that it can be used in learning mathematics.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine the appropriate, practicality, and effectiveness of learning video for lines materials and angles by using discovery learning model to improve mathematical problem-solving ability for seventh grade students. Method here was research and development using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Population was mathematic teachers and seventh grade students SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta, Kupang. Sample was seventh grade students of A class. Trials was done to determine the practicality of learning video. Research instruments here was validation sheet, learning video, lesson plan, practicality sheet, questioner of study result test. the obtained data then analyzed its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Results: validity scores, a) learning video: 3.45, b) lesson plan: 3.59, c) teacher respond questionary: 3.5, d) student respond questionary: 3.5. The average score for validity was 3.45 and the category was very valid. The learning video got good respond and the score was a) 3.45 for teacher respond questioner, b) 3.56 for student respond questioner. The average score of practicality was 3.55 and the category was very practical. The appropriate of learning video was obtained from the effectiveness of student KKM (70) and the average score of student learning outcome was 73.33%. From the data of validation result, analysis of questioner and student learning outcome show that the learning video for lines material and angles by using discovery learning model was very valid, very practical and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to produce student activity sheets with a scientific approach to high school derivative materials and to determine the quality of student activity sheets from the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of research is development research. The development model used is the ADDIE development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instrument used in this study was the Student Activity Sheet assessment sheet to measure the validity, the response questionnaire to the use of learning devices to measure practicality, and the learning outcome test questions to measure effectiveness. The results showed that the Student Activity Sheet developed was valid because the results of the assessment met the minimum classification "Good". Assessment of Student Activity Sheet gets an average score of 4.1 with the classification "Very Good". Based on the results of data analysis of teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires, the Student Activity Sheet is said to be practical because it meets the minimum classification "Good". The results of the teacher's questionnaire response to the use of the Student Activity Sheet got an average score of 3.25 with the classification "Good" and the student response questionnaire to the use of the Student Activity Sheet got an average score of 3.2 with the classification "good". Student Activity Sheets are said to be effective because the percentage of students' classical completeness reaches 84.62%.

Abstract

Jajanan pasar merupakan warisan leluhur berupa makanan tradisional yang kerap dijumpai di pasar-pasar tradisional. Seiring berkembangnya zaman, jajanan pasar saat ini sudah berkembang menjadi makanan yang dapat dijumpai di pusat perbelanjaan modern. Terdapat beberapa jajanan pasar yang merupakan khas dari Purworejo seperti clorot, geblek, kue satu, jenang krasikan, jipang, dan kue lompong. Purworejo merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Melalui pendekatan etnomatematika penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk budaya di daerah Purworejo yakni jajanan pasar yang diintegrasikan pada pembelajaran matematika dalam kurikulum merdeka. Aspek matematis pada jajanan pasar daerah Purworejo adalah unsur geometri bangun datar dan bangun ruang; lama waktu memasak; komposisi bahan pembuatan; penggunaan satuan waktu dan satuan liter, gram cc pada saat menakar bahan-bahan yang digunakan untuk pembuatan jajanan pasar; perkiraan pembagian memotong dari ukuran besar menjadi ukuran kecil pada jenang krasikan dan jipang; serta perkiraan banyak adonan yang dituangkan ke cetakan pada clorot, kue satu, dan kue lompong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deksriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan library research. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah etnomatematika melalui jajanan pasar daerah Purworejo dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika fase A, B, C, dan D pada kurikulum merdeka. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kesalahan prosedural dalam pemecahan masalah sistem pertidaksamaan dua variabel linear kuadrat, terhadap 4 siswi kelas X MIA SMA Muhammadiyah Parepare. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Dari 4 Siswa yang menjawab salah dipilih sebagai responden karena menjawab semuanya pertanyaan tapi melakukan kesalahan prosedur.. Kesalahan prosedur dibuat termasuk mis. 1) salah di mencari titik potong pada pertidaksamaan linear (4 responden), 2) kesalahan pada menentukan titik potong pada pertidaksamaan kuadrat (4 responden), 3) kesalahan pada grafik himpunan penyelesaian karena terjadi kesalahan pada tahap menentukan titik potong (4 responden).

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the difficulty of students in class VIII in understanding the understanding of mathematical concepts in the system of linear two-variable equations and the principles experienced by students in solving the problem stories for two-variable linear equation systems and the factors that cause students to experience these difficulties. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The subjects used in this study were students of class VIII selected with consideration. The instrument used is a written test in the form of essays and interview guidelines. From the data analysis, it is known the difficulties and the factors causing the difficulties experienced by students. difficulty in converting story problems into mathematical sentences, difficulty in operating with the substitution method, difficulty in operating addition and subtraction. The factors that cause difficulties are the lack of mastery of the system of linear equations for the two variables SPLDV, the lack of persistence, lack of accuracy when working on the questions, do not master the concept of the linear system for the two variables SPLDV.
