Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of risk management and earnings management on financial performances in Islamic banking: an empirical study of Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative research method. As for the sampling technique, we used purposive sampling. The type of data is secondary data. The samples used in this study were ten banks registered with the Financial Services Authority from 2015 to 2020. Data analysis in this study used the application of the SEM-PLS. This research indicates that risk management and earnings management affect financial performance. Keywords: Risk Management, Earnings Management, Financial Performance.

Abstract

Women entrepreneurs have become a rapidly growing phenomenon in the last decade. In the province of Jambi, the development of the MSME sector has also continued to increase, as has the case in the city of Jambi. Female MSMEs are dominated by housewives and those who already have children are also known as "Mompreneurs". The motivation of women entrepreneurs to enter into the world of business or to become entrepreneurs is not only because of business activities that might be in accordance with their hobbies but also because of the family's economic conditions which require them to be able to find additional income.This research is an empirical study by examining the impact of Mompreneur entrepreneurial motivation on business performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the capital market's reaction to the announcement of an increase in fuel prices on the composite stock price index through testing differences in returns and trading volume before and after the fuel price increase on September 3, 2022. This research uses an event study approach, the sample in this study is the stock price index. combination during the event period. The results of this study show that the capital market reacted to the fuel price hike event on September 3, 2022. There are differences in market returns and trading volume on the composite stock price index before and after the fuel price increase, which indicates that the fuel price increase has an influence on market movements capital in Indonesia, this is due to the significant increase in fuel prices at the time of the observation event

Abstract

In recent years, e-commerce in Indonesia is growing rapidly which makes the level of competition between e-commerce is also high and has resulted in the closure of several e-commerce because they are unable to compete. It can be said that live streaming is one of the innovations as a marketing strategy for new e-commerce. To avoid suspicions of different product characteristics photos, fake shops, fraudulent sellers and others and to increase customer trust, Tokopedia Play created a live shopping experience feature. And can increase customer engagement which ultimately consumers buy and revisit. This study aims to examine the effect of live streaming, customer trust, and customer engagement in making online purchases on Tokopedia e-commerce. The independent variable in this study is live streaming. The dependent variable is customer engagement. And the intervening variable is customer trust. Respondents in this study were people who had shopped online through live streaming on Tokopedia Play. This study uses quantitative research methods and PLS analysis. Using a minimum of 105 respondents. The results of the study show that: (1) Live streaming has a positive and significant effect on customer trust. (2) Customer trust has a positive and significant effect on customer engagement. (3) The effect of live streaming on customer trust and on customer engagement is significant and positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was analyzed the effect of positively and significantly Operating Expenses on Return on Assets. This research was analyzed the effect of positively and significantly Net Interest Margin on Return on Assets. This research was analyzed the effect of positively and significantly Capital Adequacy Ratio on Return on Assets. This research was analyzed the effect of positively and significantly Loan to Deposit Ratio on Return on Assets. this research was analyzed the effect of positively and significantly Bank Ownership on Return on Assets. Purposive sampling is a sampling technique by determining certain criteria. The sample in this study are commercial banks in Indonesia in the 2019-2022 period except for Islamic Banks, BPD (Regional Development Banks) and Foreign Banks (KCBA, Branch Offices of Foreign Banks). Panel data analysis and hypotheses were tested using Eviews. The results of the study show that bank ownership has the most positive effect on return on assets. Foreign ownership is the percentage of company shares held by foreign investors. Foreign ownership can be an alternative choice when a company wants to control the management. Foreign companies tend to have a good focus on the issue of good corporate governance, so it's the right choice if a company wants to increase the transparency of this aspect.Keyword: Financial Performance, Bank Ownership, Profitability, Banking Company.

Abstract

In a company, many factors support the sustainability of the company, especially in the era of globalization which increases competition between companies. To be able to survive in the current era of global competition, companies do not only focus on company profits, but also focus on human resources in company management. This study aims to examine the effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Organizational Commitment, test the effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance and examine the effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Engagement at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi. The samples used according to these characteristics were 53 samples which were in accordance with the acceptable samples for parametric analysis (30<x<500). Transformational Leadership Style has an effect on Organizational Commitment, Transformational Leadership Style has an effect on Employee Engagement and Transformational Leadership Style has an effect on Employee Performance.

Abstract

e importance of the role of SMEs in the regional, national, and global economy as well as the industrial era 4.0, which requires business actors to continue to be able to innovate, It needs encouragement from various groups, including academics, on how to make conceptualizations that can be used as material for policies or decisions for business actors or stakeholders. Along with the growing awareness of SMEs about competitiveness because they are facing the millennial era, this is an opportunity for researchers to present conceptual strategies so that they can be useful for SMEs. The problems in this study are that there is no concept that describes internal and external conditions, and the quality of SME products is inconsistent for markets that enjoy them. The purpose of this research is to build a concept of character development strategy for product quality that is always maintained so that it can become competitive in the business. The method in this study employs a qualitative approach, with tools such as Internal Factor Evaluation, External Factor Evaluation, SWOT Analysis, and problem solving using one of the standardization tools used. The results of this study show that clear work steps will make it easier for SMEs players to provide consistency in the taste that characterizes the products being marketed

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago where ferry transportation is a means of transportation that is often used by the community, which acts as a bridge between islands separated by waters. Ujung-Kamal Port is a crossing that connects Java Island with Madura Island. Since the construction of the Suramadu Bridge in 2009 and the elimination of the entrance fee, the number of passengers in the crossing has decreased. This study aims to determine the effect of 3 research variables namely comfort, safety and reliability which represent indicators of service quality on passenger loyalty for crossing transportation across Ujung-Kamal. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with the determination of respondents using simple random sampling method and for data analysis using SEM PLS application. The SEM PLS application is used to measure the relationship between variables with measuring indicators and to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the variables of comfort, safety and reliability have an influence on passenger loyalty across the Ujung-Kamal crossing.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Business Model Innovation with its 3 (three) value creation elements Value Proposition, Value Creation, and Value Capture Innovation is able to foster entrepreneurial activity in the Regional Drinking Water Company Tirta Mayang as a monopoly company for clean water management in Jambi City. Entrepreneurial activity is a characteristic of Corporate Entrepreneurship that influences company performance. Business Model Innovation uses 3 (three) dimensions, namely diversification, technology, and good corporate governance. This research was conducted using quantitative methods, primary and secondary data sources using questionnaire research instruments and Partial Least Square (PLS) data analysis techniques with a total sample of 73 people. The results of this study provide knowledge on how a relevant Business Model Innovation can maintain the Sustainability of local companies that are transforming towards Corporate Entrepreneurship in an effort to increase profitability and decent quality of clean water services as a form of global commitment from the Sustainable Development Goal's (SDGs).

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze strategies for improving the financial performance of Culinary MSMEs in the current era and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Jambi City. The analysis tools used are SWOT analysis and PLS analysis. The results showed that the SO (Strenght Opportunity) Strategy increased customer trust, added employees, and maintained cleanliness. The WO (Weaknesses Opportunity) strategy provides discounts on every purchase, providing free order delivery services at short distances. Strategy ST (Strenght Threat) adding new employees, decorating the room so that visitors are comfortable. The WT (Weaknesses Threat) strategy is adding new products or adding level variants to old products, looking for new investors to expand the business. Then Entrepreneur Orientation has a significant effect on innovation in Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City, Market Orientation has no significant effect on innovation in Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City, Entrepreneur Orientation has a significant effect on Financial Performance on Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City, Market Orientation has no significant effect on Financial Performance on Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City, Innovation has a significant effect on Financial Performance on Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City, Entrepreneurial Orientation has a significant effect on MSME Financial Performance with innovation as a mediating variable on Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City, Market Orientation has a significant effect on MSME Financial Performance with innovation as a mediating variable in Culinary MSMEs in Jambi City.
