Abstract

This thesis discusses general teacher strategies in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students at SDLB Negeri Sambas. The research has three objectives, namely: First, to find out the various strategies of general teachers in teaching Islam for Deaf Students at the Sambas State Elementary School during the Covid-19 Pandemic for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. Second, knowing the application of various general teacher strategies in teaching Islam for Deaf Students at the Sambas State Elementary School during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Third, find out the obstacles in learning Islam for deaf students at the Sambas State Elementary School during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive, qualitative study which aims to find out what strategies are used by general teachers in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students at SDLB Negeri Sambas. The subjects of this research were general teachers at SDLB Negeri Sambas. Data collection tool techniques are: observation, interviews, documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. Then the data validity checking technique used is triangulation and member check. The results of this research are: First, general teacher strategies in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students, namely expository strategies, individual strategies, behavior modification strategies. Second, the application of general teacher strategies in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students consists of opening, core and closing activities. Third, the obstacles faced by general teachers in learning Islamic religious education for deaf students are in terms of internal factors, namely physiological factors, psychological factors, then finally, external factors including the social and non-social environment.

Abstract

Potential is the most important part of a child. With potential, individuals will feel valuable in their lives. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find the potential in a child in the Sa'dan sub-district, especially in early childhood education, and also aims to find models that can be applied to develop this potential in a simple and easily recognized framework for children. To achieve this purpose, the research method used by the author is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the reality and reality that occurs in the Sa'dan sub-district related to the situation and context of early childhood education. Several theories that are the basis for the author's research are theories about children, children's potential and learning theories that come from literature and articles on social media. The results of this study are that the management of learning for early childhood with their potential is by giving a form of respect or appreciation for the child, opening up space to develop the potential of each child and becoming a parent for them who is full of love and care.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by teachers in the era of globalization. Major challenges include integrating technology into teaching, enhancing professional competencies, and adapting to globally influenced curricula that are becoming increasingly complex. Teachers are required not only to educate but also to act as facilitators who guide students in critical thinking, communication, and cultural awareness. This research employs a library research method by analyzing various sources, such as books, journals, and relevant scientific articles. The results indicate that although teachers struggle with adopting technology and implementing digital-based learning, globalization also offers significant opportunities, such as access to global educational resources, the development of innovative teaching methods, and collaboration with educators worldwide. By effectively utilizing technology, teachers can create a more effective, inclusive, and adaptable learning environment. Therefore, improving competencies through training and professional development is crucial in addressing globalization challenges and enhancing the quality of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this researcher is to describe and analyze the planning, implementation and evaluation of teachers in the use of letter puzzles to foster reading interest of grade I students at MIS Darul Falah Sungai Nyirih, Jawai District for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenological research. The data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The data validity check technique uses source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member check. The results of this study show that: (1) the appearance of letter puzzles to foster interest in reading is in the form of a game of arranging random letters into meaningful words or phrases. The level of difficulty is adjusted to the ability of each student. The game content uses puzzle boards, vocabulary books, and whiteboards. (2) the use of letter puzzles for students in grade I is (a) preparation; (b) random puzzles; (c) compiling puzzles; (d) forming patterns; (e) Continue to try and reflect. (3) Students' participation in the use of letter puzzles is that students generally listen to the teacher's explanations during learning, with varying levels of attention. Some students dare to ask the teacher about the material that is not clear, but there are also those who are still embarrassed. Students are actively involved using puzzles, which help develop various skills such as problem-solving, fine motor skills, and cooperation.

Abstract

This research originated from the discovery of a problem about Islamic religious education teachers who very rarely use information technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas. The purpose of this research is to identify internal factors and external factors that cause the problematics of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas in the 2023-2024 academic year. This research used qualitative method with phenomenological research type. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data validity checking technique uses source triangulation and member check. The results of research on the problematics of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media at SMP Negeri 7 Sambas, namely: Internal factors that cause the problems of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media are weak teacher competence, lack of teacher interest and teacher age. External factors that cause the problems of Islamic religious education teachers in using information technology-based learning media are lack of facilities, lack of training and limited funds.

Abstract

Teacher psychological well-being is a very important factor in creating a conducive and effective learning environment. Teachers who have good psychological well-being tend to be more innovative, creative, and able to establish positive relationships with students, thereby increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. This study discusses factors that influence teacher psychological well-being, such as social support, workload, and work-life balance. In addition, the impact of teacher well-being on teaching performance, relationships with students, and classroom management is also discussed. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that to improve teacher well-being, strategies are needed such as strengthening social support, better workload management, and increasing awareness of mental health through training and counseling services. With the implementation of these strategies, it is hoped that teacher psychological well-being can be improved, so that it can contribute to improving the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found during the initial observation that the development of religious and moral values of children in Group B RA Al-Muhajir Panyileukan Bandung City has not developed optimally. This can be seen that children rarely say greetings when they arrive at school, children have not been able to behave well when playing with their friends, when praying activities do it with a screaming voice. Therefore, researchers used the role-playing method to determine its effect on the development of children's religious and moral values. The purpose of this research conducted in Group B RA Al Muhajir Panyileukan Bandung City is to find out: 1) The development of children's religious and moral values through the role-playing method in the experimental class; 2) The development of children's religious and moral values through the storytelling method in the control class; and 3) The difference in the development of children's religious and moral values between using the role-playing method and the storytelling method. This research method is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design and through pretest, treatment and posstest patterns on two groups to determine the development of religious and moral values in children. Class B1 as many as 15 children (control class) and class B2 as many as 15 children (experimental class). The results of data analysis show that the development of religious and moral values of early childhood before being given treatment using the role-playing method obtained an average value of 54 and after being given treatment using the role-playing method obtained an average value of 88. While the development of religious and moral values of children before being given treatment using the storytelling method obtained an average value of 47 and after being given treatment obtained an average value of 74. Based on the results of hypothesis testing obtained t_hitung = 2.903> t_ (table) = 1.701 then H_0 (null hypothesis) is rejected and H_1 (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. This means that there is a difference in the development of religious and moral values in children between learning using the role-playing method and the storytelling method in Group B RA Al Muhajir Panyileukan Bandung City.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems found, namely regarding children's fine motor skills. There are some children who have not been able to hold a pencil correctly (placing fingers on the pencil is still wrong), and there are children who have not been able to cut according to a predetermined pattern. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze: (1) Children's fine motor skills before the application of constructive play using clay media in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City; (2) Children's fine motor skills after the application of constructive play using clay media in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City; (3) The effect of constructive play using clay media on children's fine motor skills in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach using Pre-experimental Design. Respondents in this study were 27 children. Determination of the sample using saturated sample technique, meaning that the number of samples is done by setting the entire population as research respondents. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and documentation. The data analysis process involves instrument testing, namely validity and reliability, then normality test, homogeneity test, partial test of indicator items and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the motor skills of early childhood in group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City before the application of constructive play using clay media obtained an average value of 52.5 with less interpretation. After the application of constructive play using clay media obtained an average value of 78.5 with good interpretation. There is a significant difference in children's fine motor skills before and after the application of constructive play using clay media. This is evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test which shows the value of ????ℎ????????????????g 8.561 and ????????????????????????2.007 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that there is an effect of constructive play using clay media on the fine motor skills of early childhood in Group B RA Persis 235 Nasrullah Bandung City.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the problems that occur, namely children's difficulty in remembering and memorizing daily prayers. Therefore, researchers chose to use the animated film Riko The Series to determine its effect on the ability to memorize daily prayers of early childhood. This research is based on a thought in developing memorization skills using animated media. Riko The Series animated film contains educational entertainment related to the Qur'an and daily prayers, so it can be used for children to memorize daily prayers in a fun way in terms of the benefits provided by the animated film. The results showed that the ability to memorize daily prayers of early childhood using the animated film Riko The Series in group B on prayer when it rains obtained an average pretest score of 50 which was interpreted in the poor category and obtained an average posttest score of 78 which was interpreted in the good category. The t test results obtained tcount> ttable with a value of 11.337> 2.055 at a significance level of 5% then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. That is, there is an effect of the application of the animated film Riko The Series on the ability to memorize daily prayers of early childhood in group B RA Baitur Rahim Andir District, Bandung City. Abstract

Parents' attention to children's education in the household greatly determines the success of children in learning. This has a positive impact on behavioral changes and children's educational development. Parents must always pay attention to how their children learn at home so that their children get good achievements at school. The learning difficulties experienced by students are inseparable from the role of parents in providing guidance at home. The role of parents towards children is often influenced by the attitude of parents in providing guidance and coaching to children. The purpose of this study is to be able to find out the role of parental guidance on the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Kota Sorong and to be able to find out the factors that affect the learning achievement of grade V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the method used in this study being qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the role of parental guidance for learning achievement of students of Class V SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City, there are four parents who have not provided learning assistance to their children, and one parent has not fully provided learning assistance to their children, and two parents have not provided learning assistance to their children because parents are busy in their daily lives so that students have not received full learning assistance from parents. There are three roles of parental guidance on the learning achievement of Class V students of SD Negeri 30 Puncak Cenderawasih Sorong City, namely parents as student companions, parents as facilitators, and parents as student motivators. Factors that hinder tutoring activities from parents to children are such as parents who do not understand the material being studied by their children, a crowded home environment that is not conducive, and subject matter that is not clear or even absent in textbooks.
