Abstract

The Middle East has become the main stage of geopolitical competition between various countries and non-state actors. In this digital era, cyber warfare has become a major instrument in expanding influence and securing interests in the region. US intervention in Middle Eastern countries is quite large, including cyber attacks. Cyber warfare has become an inseparable part of regional conflicts in the Middle East. This occurs in conflict countries such as Syria, Yemen, and Libya. Each has different political, military, and economic interests, triggering a series of cyber attacks and counterattacks. This study aims to determine the influence of US cyber attacks on countries in the Middle East, especially countries in conflict, and to measure the impact of these attacks on the geopolitical conditions of the Middle East. This study uses a library research method, namely a literature study. This method is carried out by taking data from library sources such as theses, journals, or other scientific articles. The findings of this study explain that the United States has a high political tendency towards conflict countries in the Middle East and uses cyberspace as an influential medium to intervene in order to launch attacks and obtain intelligence data.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Google Classroom in learning at SD Mathlaul Anwar and its impact on student engagement, ease of managing learning, and student learning outcomes. Google Classroom, as an online learning management platform, enables more effective interaction between teachers and students, as well as facilitates the management of materials and assignments. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through literature review, interviews with fifth-grade teachers, and observations of the platform's implementation in learning. The results show that Google Classroom provides significant benefits, such as easy access to learning materials, increased student participation, and efficient class management. Features such as online assignment submission, automatic reminders, and discussion rooms enable a more structured and collaborative learning process. However, the main challenges faced are the dependence on stable internet access and adequate devices. Nevertheless, these challenges can be overcome with training sessions for students and parents. This study concludes that Google Classroom can improve student learning outcomes, provide space for independent learning, and contribute to the creation of a more interactive and collaborative learning environment. The future use of Google Classroom is expected to be further optimized to support both face-to-face and remote learning with the development of new features that support project-based and interactive video learning.

Abstract

Currently, the phenomenon of using Paylater services in Indonesia, especially among the younger generation, has become a major highlight in recent months, although it offers convenience, there are significant risks, especially the occurrence of "default", the impact of which can affect the stability of the economy, banking, and social society. The high number of defaults will disrupt economic stability, one of which is a decrease in purchasing power, in addition to the risk of inflation due to fines and interest on debt that are increasing and accumulating, creating a negative economic growth cycle. This banking sector situation is a serious challenge, with increasing non-performing loans so that they have bad credit status, it will thwart financial performance in business growth and investment, not to mention the additional operational costs to use the services of other parties in collection so that profitability decreases as well as public trust. Broadly speaking, if preventive measures are not taken, the younger generation who are caught in the default phase will experience financial decline, as a result they will experience emotional and mental stress so that negative social stigma will stick and ultimately will affect the creation of widespread and prolonged social injustice due to uncontrolled consumer behavior.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores social and religious interactions in Medan, Indonesia. Medan has many ethnic and religious groups. This diversity makes it a great place to see how communities live together and handle conflicts. Researchers collected data through interviews with community leaders, religious figures, and residents. They also did participant observation and analyzed relevant documents.  The findings indicate that interactions among different groups are mostly positive. People show mutual respect and engage in shared activities. Interfaith talks and joint efforts, usually guided by religious leaders and local governments, improve understanding and tolerance. Yet, some problems persist. These are stereotypes, competition for resources, and the political manipulation of identities. The study highlights the importance of good communication, community efforts, and inclusive policies. These are key to building social cohesion. Medan's diverse culture creates opportunities for positive connections. Still, we must keep working to face challenges and prevent conflicts. This research adds to the discussion on managing diversity and fostering peaceful coexistence in urban Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of communication technology always increases rapidly over time. This happens to technology related to the internet and non-internet. One of the things carried out by the Indonesian Government is broadcast migration or switching TV broadcasts from analog to digital, or what is known as analog switch off (ASO). The transition from broadcasting to digital has become a necessity for broadcasters in all parts of the world. Indonesia is one of the countries that lags behind countries in Southeast Asia in implementing ASO. Because Indonesia will only stop broadcasting analog TV on November 2, 2022. While neighboring countries such as Brunei Darussalam implemented it in 2017, Singapore and Malaysia implemented it in 2019. The first research objective was to analyze the implementation of vertical communication strategies in optimizing company services, the second was to analyze the implementation of ASO in maintaining customer attraction. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach with post positivism methods. The research results are in accordance with the research objectives. LPB Pro Vision implements a vertical communication strategy well, where at all times this vertical communication is always well established, as evidenced by many other LPBs that have closed while Pro Vision is still able to survive. In the second research objective, Pro Vision as a whole still applies analog broadcasting, in maintaining customers service and broadcast quality are always prioritized.
