Abstract

This research aims to find out how much the selling price influences the income level of rice farmers in Tanjung Selamat Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The type of research used is a quantitative approach method. The population in this research is rice farmers in Tanjung Selamat Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The samples in this research were 78 rice farmers. The type and technique of data collection used in this research is primary data using a questionnaire. The data analysis methods used are instrument tests, namely validity and reliability tests, Descriptive Statistical Analysis, Simple Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, namely the t test (partial test) and the Coefficient of Determination (R2) test. The results of this research show that the selling price variable has a tcount value of 9.208 while the ttable is 1.991, indicating that the tcount > ttable value is significant at 0.000 because the significance is smaller than 0.05 (0.000<0.05) so it can be concluded that partially the Selling Price (x) significantly influences Income (Y). This is indicated by a tcount value of 9.208 ttable 1.991 and a significant value of 0.000<0.05. The Determination Coefficient (R2) was obtained at 0.527 so it can be seen that the ability of the Selling Price (X) variable to explain the Income (Y) variable is 0.527 or 52.7% and the remaining 47.3% is explained by other variables not included in the research model This. It is recommended that rice farmers pay more attention to determining selling prices. Because setting selling prices greatly affects farmers' income. Apart from paying attention to the selling price, farmers must also pay attention to all the costs incurred in maintaining rice.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the management of Arabic curriculum planning in Indonesian higher education, focusing on the effectiveness of planning in addressing challenges in teaching and learning Arabic. Utilizing a qualitative approach and library research methods, the study analyzes literature related to curriculum management and its implementation at three higher education institutions. The findings reveal that the curriculum planning process involves stages of needs analysis, goal formulation, content development, teaching strategies, and evaluation, although the depth and approach vary between institutions. The study identifies that while the integration of technology into the curriculum has begun, the level of implementation differs. Multicultural aspects and labor market orientation are also focal points, with results showing that while some institutions have integrated modules for business and diplomatic Arabic, multicultural aspects remain limited. These findings underscore the need for a more holistic curriculum planning approach that is responsive to digital advancements and sensitive to cultural diversity and labor market needs. The study recommends developing a comprehensive curriculum management model to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of Arabic language learning in Indonesia.

Abstract

Low financial literacy has significant implications, including restricted access to financial institutions and mismanagement of money and wealth. A common consequence of low financial literacy is the limited access to financial services, often restricted to banks. This issue is particularly prevalent among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), where poor financial literacy hinders both business growth and economic development. Many individuals lack the financial knowledge necessary to manage investments, pay bills on time, and maintain a budget, all of which are essential for sound financial management. In the case of MSME actors in Ulugawo sub-district, observations reveal that many do not have a clear understanding of financial management, nor do they maintain proper financial records. This lack of financial knowledge often leads to difficulties in organizing expenditures and managing finances. As a result, many MSMEs struggle to present their financial standing clearly, making them ineligible for capital credit access. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of financial literacy on the financial behavior of MSME actors in Ulugawo, Nias. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach, with data collected through questionnaires. The data analysis revealed that financial literacy accounts for 70% of the variation in financial behavior among MSMEs in Ulugawo, indicating that the remaining 30% is influenced by other factors not covered in this study. The t-test results for the financial literacy variable (X) showed a t-value of 2.191, with a significance level of 5%. The calculated r-value was greater than the critical r-value (r-calculated > r-estimated, 1.6759), confirming the significant influence of financial literacy on financial behavior.

Abstract

Landslides are one of the most common disasters in Indonesia. Landslides are often triggered by high rainfall and occur for several days. Unstable soil structure is very easy to experience landslides. The case study of this research is in Pujon Sub-district, Malang Regency. Pujon sub-district has a hilly and highland topography. Its hilly-mountainous relief and steep slopes cause Pujon Sub-district to experience frequent natural disasters, especially landslides. The research was conducted by processing Sentinel 1 image using DInSAR method to obtain data on land surface change and weighting scoring method to obtain information on landslide prone areas. The processing of DInSAR method produces the value of vertical land surface change. The largest increase in land surface with a displacement value of 0.2972 m. And the largest land subsidence is -0.2234 m. Such movement can be an indicator of landslide occurrence. The GIS method produces 3 classes of landslide vulnerability level, namely low, medium and high in each year in Pujon sub-district. The average landslide prone area in the last 5 years is 15081.1331 ha. The processing results of DInSAR method and weighting scoring method can describe the landslide prone areas in Pujon Sub-district which is expected to be useful for landslide mitigation efforts.
