Abstract

Arabic is a language that is rich in synonyms. The words that will be studied in this scientific article are words that have human meaning. In the Qur'an there are more than two words used to refer to humans, namely: basyar, insan, annas, bani adam. The four words are translated into Indonesian by humans. This single translation cannot reflect the complete meaning of each because the synonyms are not completely similar. Therefore, this study was made to answer the differences that exist in the four words. The method used is the method of collecting the corpus from the Qur'an and followed by the comparison technique of equating and distinguishing then analyzed by means of component analysis. From the analysis carried out, the four words have differences in terms of components of meaning consisting of social, character, and worship aspects.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the implementation of online Arabic learning activities, to know the role of parents, and to find out the inhibiting-supporting factors in online Arabic learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic for students of MTs Ma'arif Sapuran Wonosobo. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, conducted by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study show that, (1) Online Arabic learning activities at the school are still running despite many obstacles, but online Arabic learning is considered less than optimal and confusing. Many students are not active to the teacher when giving Arabic material or assignments via WhatsApp. Furthermore, the Arabic language teacher initiates to cooperate with parents so that students remain active in participating in learning even with a long duration of time, (2) The role of parents in online Arabic learning has been maximized, this is evidenced by their role being the first teacher for their children at home, encouraging, educating and assisting their children to study, providing adequate motivation and facilities, giving strong encouragement so that children continue to study diligently even though they are online, making the home environment comfortable so that children can focus on this situation, maintain good communication with children, (3) practically there is only one inhibiting factor, namely signal constraints, the supporting factors are being able to communicate remotely without being limited by distance, place, and time, learning can be accessed anytime and anywhere, and the existence of internet quota assistance, and LKS book assistance.

Abstract

The selection of the right method in mufrodat learning must adapt to the needs of students. Because a good method is a method that is suitable for use with students' conditions during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the make a match method in mufrodat learning and mastery of mufrodat students of class XI MA Al-Amiriyah Blokagung Banyuwangi. The research method used is a comparative quantitative method by comparing the value of one variable with other variables at different times. The instrument in this study used a test. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. This research was conducted using the SPSS program. Data analysis in this study was normality test and paired sample t-test (paired sample test). The results showed that the paired sample t-test was a correlation of effectiveness before using the make a match method and after using the make a match method. The magnitude of the correlation x1 and x2 is 0.608 with a significance of 0.000. And the success of using the make a match method in mastering the mufrodat which shows that the value of t count is greater than t table (10,672>2,045). Abstract

The purpose of this research to know how the drill method is implemented and how effective the drill method is in learning Arabic vocabulary. This research is a quasi-experimental research. This research was conducted at MTs Al-Amiriyyah. The population in this study were students of class VIII MTs Al-Amiriyyah, amounting to 140 students. The samples taken were the control class as many as 34 students and the experimental class as many as 35 students. The experimental class was treated using the drill method in learning Arabic vocabulary, while the control class only used conventional methods. The design used in this study is the Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. The research instrument was in the form of a learning outcome test. To test the hypothesis using the paired sample t-test. Data analysis was done descriptively-quantitatively. The results of this study indicate that: (1) in the control class the average value of the pretest is 59.94 while the posttest average value of 77.17 is still lower than the experimental class, (2) in the experimental class the average value of the pretest is 77.17. 59.54 while the posttest average value of 88.17 is higher than the control class, (3) the average posttest value of the experimental class > control class is 88.17 > 77.17 which means that the experimental class learning outcomes are higher than the control class. control class, in the paired t-test, the results obtained are sig.2 tailed of 0.000 <0.05. The use of the drill method in learning Arabic vocabulary is more effective.

Abstract

Anxiety is a state of apprehension or worry that indicates that something bad will happen soon. And anxiety will turn into abnormal if the level does not match the proportions of the threat, or if it comes without any cause, that is, if not a form of response to the environment that will change. In the extreme, an anxiety will interfere with our daily activities. The aim of ths research is to know: (1) the level of theanxiety that students of arabic intensive program experienced when they speak arabic, (2) the factors that cause this anxiety when speak arabic that the students of arabic intensive programe experienced, and (3) the strategy on dealing this anxiety by the students of arabic intensive programe. This research use blended-method (qualitative and quantitative). This research is held in Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Bahasa Institut Agama Islam Darussalam (IAIDA) Blokagung Banyuwangi. The subjects of this research are the students who experienced the anxiety on speaking arabic in the arabic at UPT Bahasa IAIDA. They all are choosen by using purposive sampling. The researcher measure the level anxiety by using FLAS (Foreign Language Anxiety Scale) while observing and interviewing all of the students of arabic intensive program to identify the factor that cause the anxiety on speaking arabic. The researcher doing the observation by interviewing intensively and take field note. Intensive interview to the studens is used to know the factors of the anxiety and srudents strategy on dealing the anxiety. Meanwhile, field note is used to get the more accurate data. Based on the result found in the field, Researcher find out that the level anxiety the students have on speaking arabis is about 65% and categorized as atmedium level. While the factors that cause the anxiety on the students arabic speaking skill, in general, are divided into two categories; internal factors and external factors, and in the case of this research, the reseracher found the internal factors that are: worries on doing errors, lack of self confidence and inability to arrange the words into sentences. As for the external factors that are: the absence of supporting environment and the lack of motivation from students parrents. As for the strategy that students do, that are: preparring on learning material before entering the class and find partner in speaking arabic continously.

Abstract

The book of Sang Pangeran Nahwu Al-Ajurumiyah is an introductory book to the Kitab al Ajurumiyah written in Indonesian. This book is not a translation of the original book, but rather a translation like the interpretation of the Qur'an. This book is suitable for non-Arabic students, especially those in Indonesia who are still predicated as beginners in learning Arabic. This type of research is library research with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique uses documentation. And the results of this study indicate that the book Sang Pangeran Nahwu Al-Ajurumiyah has met the criteria of a good textbook in terms of material, which is in accordance with the scientific theoretical basis according to Masnur Muslich, including material accuracy, material coverage, and material support. Then in terms of scientific theory according to Ali al Qosimiy, this book is suitable in basic material but in the layout of the basic material it is not appropriate, and has met the criteria in terms of supporting material and special material. Meanwhile, in the stage of presenting the material, the book has not yet reached conformity with the selection and repetition stages. However, it has reached conformity to the gradation and repetition stages.

Abstract

Online gaming becomes popular among youth with the fast emergence of internet use. Various types of games are available and free to download on gadgets. Millennial game developers also utilize this condition to build online application games with Islamic content. This paper aims to investigate sorts of online game applications with Islamic contents and analyze Muslim youth's perspectives on the phenomenon. This research employs the religion and virtual reality theory of Bainbridge (2014). This descriptive qualitative research collected the data through textual study and interviews. The collected data were analyzed by employing textual analysis and ethnography methods. The research reveals two primary results. First, there are three most popular religious game applications; they are Cerdas Cermat Islami (rated 4.7 with 100,000 active users), Kuis Pengetahuan Islam (4.7 with 10,000 active users), and Muslim Millionaire (4.6 with 100,000 active users). The three applications provide challenging puzzles, activities, and challenges with Islamic content. In other words, while entertaining themselves, gamers learn Islamic knowledge. Second, the gamers' comments indicate that they are satisfied with the games and the contents. Furthermore, they get more benefits by learning more knowledge about Islam in more amusing media. Game is probably a more effective media to foster youth learn Islam.

Abstract

Learning is communication between teachers and students in realizing or achieving good learning. This study focuses on the eclectic method of learning outcomes of speaking skill. The eclectic method can be interpreted as a mixed method, or in Indonesian it is called the method of choice. In Arabic terms it is called thoriqoh Intiqoiyyah. This study uses quantitative methods with product moment techniques to test the validity of the data and to find the reliability of the data using the alpha formula. While the hypothesis test using the F test and T test, then using the regression model. This study concludes that the eclectic method has a good influence on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, other factors may also have the opportunity to influence student learning outcomes, both in terms of other methods or in terms of the quality of teachers and others.

Abstract

This research will refer to the problems of students in the Arabic language learning process at Darul Qur'an High School Glenmore Banyuwangi. And the type of this research is qualitative research. In this study data collection was done by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study interviewed students and teachers. The results of this study are; The problems of learning Arabic for students include: students lack the will to learn Arabic, environmental backgrounds that do not support progress in learning achievement, students lack confidence in Arabic lessons. The efforts made to overcome these problems include: the school is trying to improve welfare guarantees for educators, providing understanding and motivation to students, choosing appropriate and varied teaching methods, completing teaching and learning facilities and facilities, a teacher's understanding of the characteristics of participants. teach, and give assignments regularly.
