Abstract

In recent years, the landscape that shows a conservative tendency in religion has increased significantly. The Islamic Conservatives in Indonesia experienced unexpected and quite surprising growth and development, and perhaps reached its peak in the last 3-5 years. The negative excesses of this conservative tendency are quite worrying and have the potential to disrupt the sustainability of democracy and the integrity of the nation. This research seeks to elaborate efforts to mainstream moderate Islam which is the main agenda of the government (Ministry of Religion) as a step to counter conservative understanding and see how the role of educational institutions there. This research is a qualitative research focusing on the literature study and using a descriptive-analysis approach. The results of this study indicate that in an effort to mainstream moderate Islam, educational institutions play a significant role although not the only determinant. This role can be realized through several aspects such as curriculum and learning processes in educational institutions, supervision and guidance of programs or activities outside the curriculum of educational institutions starting from elementary to high levels, as well as through educational institutions policies.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi sains, pemahaman Quran-hadis, dan kecerdasan naturalis terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa madrasah tsanawiyah di Kota Mataram. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa madrasah tsanawiyah di Kota Mataram kelas IX tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 1.440 orang. Sampel ditentukan dengan metode cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan empat variabel yakni tiga variabel bebas: literasi sains, pemahaman Quran hadis dan kecerdasan naturalis dan satu variabel terikat yakni sikap peduli. Literasi sains, pemahaman Quran hadis dan kecerdasan naturalis dikumpulkan dengan instrument soal tes dan variabel sikap peduli lingkungan dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linear dan uji F untuk melihat pengaruh kumulatif variabel bebas (X1, X2, X3) terhadap variabel terikat (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Level literasi sains siswa MTs Kota Mataram termasuk katagori rendah. Walaupun demikian, literasi sains berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Pemahaman Quran Hadis siswa MTs Kota Mataram termasuk katagori sedang. Pemahman Quran Hadis berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Kecerdasan naturalis siswa MTs Kota Mataram termasuk katagori tinggi. Kecerdasan naturalis berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Literasi sains, pemahaman Quran Hadis, dan kecerdasan naturalis berpengaruh positif signifikan bersama-sama terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa MTs di Kota Mataram. Pembelajaran qur’an-hadist dan sains tentang lingkungan hidup seharusnya diimbagi dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan nyata.Keywords: Literasi sains, kecerdasan naturalis, Qur’an Hadist, sikap peduli lingkungan.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of scientific literacy, understanding of the Quran-Hadith, and naturalist intelligence on the attitude of environmental care students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in the city of Mataram. The population in this study were all Tsanawiyah Madrasa students in Mataram City in class IX in 2019/2020, totaling 1,440 people. The sample is determined by the cluster random sampling method. This research involves four variables, namely three independent variables; scientific literacy, the understanding of the Quran Hadith and naturalist intelligence, and one dependent variable is caring attitude. Science literacy, the understanding of the Quran Hadith and naturalist intelligence are collected with test questions instruments. Besides, environmental care attitude variables are collected by questionnaire instruments. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistics. Hypothesis testing uses linear regression analysis and F test to see the cumulative effect of independent variables (X1, X2, X3) on the dependent variable (Y). The results showed the level of scientific literacy of students in MTs Mataram City included in the low category. Nevertheless, scientific literacy has a significant positive effect on the attitude of environmental care for MTs students in the city of Mataram. Understanding of the Quran Hadith of MTs Mataram city students including the medium category. Understanding of the Quran Hadith not significant positive effect on the attitude of environmental care MTs students in the city of Mataram. The naturalist intelligence of MTs students in the City of Mataram is included in the high category. Naturalist intelligence has a significant negative effect on the attitude of caring for MTs students in the city of Mataram. Science literacy, understanding of the Quran-Hadith, and naturalist intelligence have a significant positive effect together on the attitude of environmental care for MTs students in the city of Mataram. Abstract

Keimanan seseorang kepada Allah Yang Maha Esa yang tidak didasari dengan belajar ilmu agama Islam secara kaffah  (mendalam) dan disertai wasilah seorang guru yang sharih akan mudah terombang-ambing oleh fluktuatif psikis, utamanya tatkala dihadapkan dengan situasi perkembangan  sains dan teknologi yang kian hingar-bingar. Betapapun seseorang telah memiliki kemapanan hidup secara ekonomi, pekerjaan dan kesejahteraan, inventarisasi gadget dan eksistensi di era serba online adalah kewajiban, alhasil egoisme dan logosentrisme menjadi konstruksi identitas diri pribadi untuk senantiasa memegang tampuk kekuasaan, menguasai dunia. Sementara pada sisi yang lain, kaum mustadafin yang serba kekurangan, akan sibuk berkamuflase dan survive memenuhi kebutuhan primer, sehingga memungkinkan tidak berkesempatan untuk memperdalam ilmu agama sekaligus teralienasikan dari pesatnya era media sosial (IPTEK). Kesenjangan antroposentris itulah yang kemudian mengantarkan manusia pada sisi spiritualitas yang rentan ditempa ujian hingga mencapai titik nadir kerapuhan. Oposisi binner inilah yang mengakibatkan seseorang lengah bahkan gagal dalam mencapai nikmatnya memiliki aqidah shohihah sebagai pondasi menjalani kerasnya kehidupan.

Abstract

Penelitian menjelaskan pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya Islami di MTs. Tahfidz Yanbu’ul Qur’an Menawan Kudus. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui suatu kejadian di MTs. Tahfidz Yanbu’ul Qur’an Menawan Kudus dalam konteks pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya Islami. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan data non statistik.Temuan penelitian: 1. Karakter religius, yaitu seluruh murid menjalankan nilai-nilai karakter berbasis budaya Islami seperti; shalat tahajud, membaca Asma’ul Husna, shalat berjamaah setiap waktu, setoran hafalan al-Qur’an, shalat dhuha, berdo’a, membaca wirid sesudah shalat maktubah; 2. Karakter jujur, seluruh murid berupaya menjadikan dirinya sebagai orang yang bisa diprcaya dalam menjalankan semua peraturan yang telah ditetapkan madrasah; 3.Karaketr disiplin, seluruh murid menunjukkan perilaku tertib dan patuh terhadap semua peraturan dan ketentuan madrasah; 4. Karakter cinta tanah air, semua murid telah menunjukkan rasa kesetiaan dalam mengikuti upacara bendera setiap hari besar nasioanl, khususnya upacara bendera di madrasah. 5. Karaketr tanggung jawab, semua murid melaksanakan tugas dan kewajibannya dalam kelancaran hafalan al-Qur’an dan setoran hafalan setiap hari kepada pengasuh atau kyai.

Abstract

This article attempts to initiate the change of learning models that occur in the Islamic educational environment. By initiating the model of learning-oriented in order to improve the capacity of graduates who are able to apply the scientific fields of Islamic studies in daily life in accordance with the demands and changes in the model of social life by mastering the religious dogmas becomes a source of value that can be applied in solving problems of mental spiritual life of the society. The dynamics of changes that occur in Indonesian Islamic society are influenced by the success of educational change Islamic Higher Education is one of the strategic elements that massively try to make the process of change through the determined educational program. Abstract

The process of learning in the 21st century is oriented towards innovative and creative activity. One of it is the integration of ICT literacy in learning. Fiqh learning mostly taught conventionally so that it is uninteresting. Therefore, this research would like to focus on the joyful learning method. The phenomenon was that the teacher conducted the learning using ICT literacy and made the environment fun. The focus of this study is how the implementation of joyful learning in Fiqh lesson based on vlog was and how was the students’ response. The data was collected through observation, and interview. The result was 1) the implementation of vlog was started with introduction, core content, and conclusion. This made the environment fun; 2) students’ responses were taken from 6 indicators which were: fun, interesting, interactive, self-confidence, more interactive, new knowledge, and content understanding. 55% of the students answered, 49% of the students strongly agreed, 38% of the students agreed, and 13% of the students disagreed.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam sejatinya memiliki tugas yang mulia untuk menciptakan keseimbangan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kepribadian manusia secara simultan dengan cara melatih akal pikiran, jiwa, perasaan dan fisik manusia. Tulisan ini mengkaji pemikiran Gus Dur tentang pendidikan Islam yang didalamnya terdapat konsep pendidikan perdamaian. Penelitian ini menggunakan library research yang didapat dari sumber bacaan mengenai pendidikan Islam, pendidikan perdamaian dan pemikiran Gus Dur, kemudian dianalisis dan dikritisi dengan menggunakan content analysis. Ada beberapa konsep mengenai pendidikan Islam yang ditawarkan oleh Gus Dur yaitu modernisasi pendidikan dan pendidikan perdamaian. Melalui pendekatan sosial-budaya dan sosial-politik Gus Dur mengembangkan Pendidikan Islam. Bagi Gus Dur pendidikan Islam memiliki beragam model, baik dalam pendidikan formal (sekolah), maupun non formal seperti majlis ta’lim, yasinan dan pengajian. Gus Dur dalam pemikiran pendidikannya mengembangkan metode dialog sebagai sarana untuk mempertajam kemampuan analisis, cara ini bisa dilakukan untuk melatih peserta didik agar open minded dengan persoalan-persoalan yang akan terjadi, dan memiliki orientasi masa depan. Selain dialog diperlukan juga pembiasaan disiplin dalam lingkungan sehari-hari. Konsep pendidikan Islam oleh Gus Dur dikembangkan melalui pendidikan perdamaian yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai toleransi, moderat dan religius,  dengan cara peserta didik diberikan pemahaman tentang bagaimana penyebab terjadinya kekerasan, kemudian diberikan ilmu pengetahuan yang baru tentang isu kritis yang ada, dan mencari solusi alternatif, melalui tahapan-tahapan berikut, pertama, peace-keeping, kedua, peace-making, dan ketiga peace-building.

Abstract

This study concludes that the modernization movement of Islamic education that occurred in Minangkabau in the period 1900-1930 caused the "disappearance" of its function as a traditional Islamic education institution in Minangkabau. Madrasa system then introduced by ulama kaum muda to replace surau as Islamic education institution. Through the madrasa system, ulama kaum muda have succeeded in dialogue the modernity with Islam. This research is a library research using qualitative methods with a socio-historical approach. Through this socio-historical approach, the author does not only want to present this research in a factual descriptive manner, but also tries to reveal facts through an analysis-critical perspective.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology in the Digital Revolution Era, in addition to positive impacts, also had a negative impact on human character, such as individualist, materialist attitudes, and even rejecting spiritual aspects. Therefore, we need the concept of Strengthening Character Education by optimizing the role of Islamic Religious Education in Schools to educate students who have faith, taqwa, and have good character according to their fitrah. To answer this need, a library research study was conducted which analyzed several papers that were relevant to the hermeneutic approach and content analysis method. This article finds that the optimization of Islamic Religious Education in Strengthening of Character Education in schools can be done by: first, strengthening the character of Muslim teachers who emulate the character of the Prophet SAW as a true educator; secondly, optimization of Islamic Religious Education in Class-based Strengthening Character Education with a tauhid-based science paradigm, integrating Islamic values in learning, and strengthening Islamic Religious Education materials in schools; third, optimization of Islamic Religious Education in school-based Strengthening Character Education by implementing the concept of taqwa-based Islamic education and making surau as a character labor; and fourth, the optimization of Islamic Religious Education in community-based Strengthening Character Education by organizing Islamic parenting and school collaboration with parents and the community in strengthening the character of students.

Abstract

SMAN 1 Teladan Yogyakarta in learning Islamic religious education uses behavioristic theory known as classical conditioning. This study aims to determine the implementation of classical conditioning in the learning of Islamic religious education at SMAN 1 Teladan Yogyakarta and the factors that influence it. This study supports qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection is done by using observation and interview methods. The results of the study showed that the application of classical conditioning in PAI learning was carried out through several stages, namely (1) making the classroom atmosphere comfortable. The stages carried out are giving freedom to students in expressing opinions during discussions, tucking in intermezo in the explanation of the material, occasionally using English in the explanation of the material, and the use of LCD in learning. (2) assigning tasks is continuous. Assignments given in the form of group discussions and cult. Students perform a cult when the teacher prepares teaching material. In addition the stimulus makes students become active in learning. The factors that influence it are the teacher's factor, the teacher has the ability to understand student psychology so that he understands the theory or the right method to use. Student factors, students have a sense of responsibility for the tasks given, and the attitude of complementarity in the cult task. Institutional factors, institutions or schools that support in terms of vision and mission and school policies.
