<![CDATA[This research describes about the importance of lecture-discussion method in studying at Madrasa. Good education can lead students to achieve good outcome by using and prepare effective methods and having perfect teaching materials in order to achieve dynamic learning goals. This research aimed to achieve the effectiveness of learning that has been taught in order to facilitate students to obtain information about taught materials. Professional teachers professionals need to understand very well about how to do good learning. In addition, educators certainly have good teaching skills before assuming the task of educator. The skills of an educator are obtained from various training and learning experiences. Teaching strategies and methods are a component contained in the learning system, the components are: learning objectives, teaching materials, students, time and educators. Therefore, lecture-discussion method of buzz group is effective to use as learning method at Madrasa.]]>

<![CDATA[Emotional intelligence in children is very important for their growth and development. The role of parents is very supportive, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The role of parents is not only developing intellectual, but also emotional intelligence. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of parents in developing emotional intelligence in the perspective of Islam during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method is triangulation (combination) of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed five parental roles, namely 1) supervising, 2) helping, 3) establishing communication, 4) giving responsibilities, 5) motivating children, and directing. The role of parents is still low at the supervision stage, where supervision by parents at this stage is difficult because children at this age are at the stage of exploration of the surrounding environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Environmental damage occurs due to human actions or natural events. To prevent humanity from being destructive, awareness of environmental preservation needs to be fostered through education. This article aims to discuss the relationship between human and environmental perspective of the Koran. MAN I Mojokerto became the subject of this research using the theory of developing ecological citizenship with the Talcot Parsons system approach, which was then reviewed with the perspective of the Koran to find its relevance. The results showed that the environmental education (PLH) based on Adiwiyata in MAN I Mojokerto was well implemented, manifested in the level of policy, curriculum, action activities, and fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure. The implementation of this PLH has strong relevance to the teachings of the Koran about environmental preservation, which lies in the understanding that; because man is the caliph of Allah, he is tasked with prospering the earth and its environment. As a consequence, he must carry out the mandate to prosper the earth, in addition to having the right to use the environment for the benefit of his life, he also has an obligation to preserve it.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to describe the role of brain based learning models in Islamic religious education so that the values of Islamic religious education can be applied in everyday life. The research method used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with interviews and observations.The data analysis technique used is phenemenological analysis which is a technique for drawing conclusions based on the data obtained and in accordance with the research objectives. The results of this study are learning conducted with a brain based learning model to provide optimal results, students are more aware of the learning process and have a positive impact on everyday life. ]]>

<![CDATA[During the Covid-19 pandemic that attacked the Indonesian state, all agencies were temporarily closed, especially educational institutions. This policy was carried out with the aim of not spreading the spread of Covid-19 among students. Even so, each agency still assigns tasks for students to do at home. This stipulation was implemented by the Taruna Al-Qur'an Putri Islamic Boarding School, which compiled an online-based tahfidz program as the duty of students while at home during this pandemic. However, in its implementation, not all santriwati perform these tasks optimally, thus making researchers want to know more about the implementation of the online-based tahfidz program. This study uses a qualitative research method with 7 respondents as research objects. The results of this study indicate that each program assigned to santriwati from the Islamic boarding school whether ziyadah, muroja'ah, and the increment of juz can be carried out properly and effectively from both the musyrifah and santriwati, although sometimes there are obstacles and obstacles in its implementation, however, not a barrier. Because every problem will and solution.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic is on the education sector with the implementation of the SFH policy which makes all teaching and learning activities carried out online. This study aims to determine the problems of guardians of elementary level Muhammadiyah school students in Sidoarjo Regency in accompanying online learning. This research uses a case study approach, the main research subject is the guardian of Muhammadiyah school students. The data collection method used is the Google Form questionnaire and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three activity lines, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that there were 5 problems faced by the guardians of the students, namely: First, difficulties in mentoring. Second, the student's learning load is heavy. Third, internet quota and network problems. Fourth, the limitations of online learning media. Fifth, it is difficult to condition the children at Home.]]>

<![CDATA[Education becomes one of the ways and processes for improving mental attitudes and developing human potential in order to lift the degree of humanity. As an institution that has a strategic role in society, then ideally every learning activity in the school should be directed to develop potential through activities that effectively also refer to the compound intelligence of its students. This research includes qualitative research that prioritizes excavation, explanation and delivery of the express and implied meaning of the data collected. This research was conducted to find out how Islamic education based on multiple intelligences. Data collection is done by looking at reading materials from previous theories, concepts and research results to be reduced, grouped and identified valid and relevant data. One of the efforts in implementing Islamic Religious Education learning that stimulates multiple intelligences is to creatively prepare lesson plan based on the results of the study style of students. In addition, in the process it is necessary to use active learning strategies that involve different types of student intelligence as well as provide experience in factual problem solving. Learning should also be supported by evaluation in the form of authentic assessments that are useful to observe the development as well as the learning results of students periodically and thoroughly.]]>

<![CDATA[Dalam kajian neurosains terdapat bagian otak manusia yang disebut mirror neurons. Neuron ini dapat memantulkan kembali tindakan yang dilihat oleh seseorang dan membuat orang tersebut terdorong untuk menirukan dan melakukan hal yang sama. Berawal dari hal tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan teori mirror neurons dalam pendidikan Islam terutama kaitannya dengan metode uswatun hasanah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode uswatun hasanah atau keteladanan dalam pendidikan Islam memiliki pola yang sama dengan mirror neurons. Titik temu keduanya terdapat pada proses aktifitas peniruan (imitation) dan pengamatan terhadap perilaku (modeling) yang dilakukan antar individu selama proses belajar atau interaksi sosial. Mirror neurons bekerja bukan hanya pada tindakan fisik saja tetapi emosi pun dapat direspon oleh neuron ini. Konsekuensinya adalah pendidik sebagai model peniruan harus menunjukkan keteladanan dengan memperhatikan aspek tindakan, psikologi dan emosional seseorang sehingga menumbuhkan sikap empati. Empati inilah salah satu produk dari mirror neurons. Uswatun hasanah yang dilakukan secara terus menerus yang disertai dengan penguatan dapat memperkuat sambungan sirkuit di dalam otak termasuk mirror neurons, sehingga memori tidak mudah terhapus dan akan menjadi tata nilai dalam diri seseorang.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam rahmatan lil alamin. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian atau kajian pustaka. Adapun teknik analisis datanya menggunakan teknik analisis konten atau isi yang memilik tiga langkah yaitu pengumpulan data dari berbagai referensi, lalu di analisa dengan model induktif, deduktif atau interaktif. Selanjutnya menyimpulkan dari hasil analisa. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam rahmatan lil alamin merupakan kurikulum yang humanis untuk meneguhkan spirit toleransi (tasamuh) dan moderasi (tawasuth). Model kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam rahmatan lil alamin meliputi keseluruhan komponen kurikulum yaitu tujuan, isi, strategi atau metode dan evaluasi.]]>

<![CDATA[The character education during the Covid-19 pandemic has found significance. A survey conducted by Balitbang of East Java Province on community compliance with the use of masks and physical distance in the prevention of Covid-19 in Surabaya shows that 10.8% of the level of community compliance with the use of masks is very low, and 25.45% of the level of community compliance with physical distances is also very low. The survey above indicates that so far the character education taught in educational institutions has not made an impact and remains in people's behavior. Therefore the revitalization of character education during the Covid-19 pandemic is a must. This study aims to explore three main issues: 1) Covid-19 and online learning; 2) character education problems in online learning; 3) and revitalizing character education during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a descriptive-explatory and analytical approach. The data sources used are survey data, government policy circulars related to the Covid-19 pandemic and character-related laws and regulations. Data analysis used content analysis and continued with drawing conclusions. The findings of this study reveal that among the forms of revitalization are institutionalizing a holistic and character-based learning model, moral, value, religion and citizenship education, synergy of family, school and community education, and revitalizing the role of social media and mass media.]]>
