Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure (Sarpras) in primary to tertiary education have an important role in the learning process. The role and position of facilities and infrastructure are very important in attracting the attention of the community so that schools have enthusiasts. This paper aims to determine the management system for school infrastructure in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Methods This research uses comparative journals related to facilities and infrastructure in the field of education. Based on the results of library reviews from various countries in the world, the authors found that (1) to improve the quality of education, supporting and efficient facilities and infrastructure were needed, (2) managing and utilizing the facilities and infrastructure available in schools as a benchmark in improving the quality of education

Abstract

The quality of higher education is obtained by implementing an internal quality assurance system carried out through the determination, implementation, evaluation, control, and improvement of higher education standards. The purpose of the research is to examine the sources of the internal quality assurance authority of the correctional higher education, and review the implementation of the internal quality assurance of the correctional higher education. Research methods are carried out by qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of observations and literature studies, then data were analyzed qualitative descriptive. The results of the research can be concluded first, the sources of authority for internal quality assurance of the correctional higher education are the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number 62 of 2016 concerning the Higher Education Quality Assurance System and the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 27 of 2000 concerning the Statute of the Polytechnic of Correctional Sciences. The second, the implementation of the internal quality assurance authority of the correctional higher education is realized by the establishment of the Quality Assurance Unit organization, the preparation of internal quality assurance system documents, and the implementation of quality supervision.

Abstract

Lecturers are scientists and disseminators of knowledge in education so that lecturers not only teach but also conduct research. Lecturer performance can be measured through the Performance Load of Higher Education Lecturers of each agency so that the achievement of lecturer performance can be measured. The purpose of this research is to describe the information and knowledge of BKD in the research field. The method used is 5C converted to 3C. The 5C method is contextualized, categorized, calculated, corrected, and condensed. The next conversion process to obtain knowledge is carried out using the 4C method, namely comparison, consequences, connection. The results of the study can be concluded that the research performance of lecturers is divided into 3 clusters, namely lecturers with additional assignments, ordinary lecturers and professors. The result is that there are several clusters of publications that have not been carried out by several lecturers, especially lecturers with additional (structural) assignments and several professor's obligations that need to be optimized again in one semester in order to obtain optimal lecturer performance so that they are headed for a superior money research university in accordance with the university's vision.

Abstract

Following the Presidential Decree Number 12, 2020, the minister of education and culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued Circular Number 4, 2020 concerning the implementation of educational policies in the emergency period of the spread of Coronavirus Desiase (Covid-19) which instructed several things, one of which is the learning process carried out from home online or remotely. Google Classroom can be used to create and manage classes in a simple way, which makes this feature chosen by many educators to accommodate their learning. Based on preliminary observations on Hindu religious education and Character in grade IV SD Fajar Harapan leads to the discussion method, where students read the material provided by the educator then continue with a discussion in the message column available on the Google Classroom feature and occasionally use Google Meet. The purpose of this study was to determine the responsse of students to the discussion method applied in the Google Classroom in Hindu religious education learning and character. This study uses a questionnaire with Google Form in retrieving student impression data on the Google Classroom assisted lecture method. The questionnaire as a data collection method and a way of scoring on the questionnaire uses the linkert scale model. The responsse of grade IV students to the application of the Google Classroom-assisted discussion method in learning Hindu Religion and Character Education is of sufficient value based on the linkert scale table. This sufficient value is in the range of 42.8% which is in sufficient criteria which leads to weak criteria so that this method needs to be developed in order to increase the responsse and effectiveness of student learning in Hindu Religion and Character Education subjects.

Abstract

quality assurance system is one of the steps for higher education in improving the quality of the implementation of the Tridharma and services to the community as a form of Good University Governance. In implementing the internal quality assurance system, STIKes Mitra Keluarga has been implementing it since 2015 and always conducts analysis regularly every year. The type of research carried out is a descriptive analysis of the data from the implementation of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) conducted by LPMI STIKes Mitra Keluarga in 2018/19 and 2019/20. The data obtained are then compared with the results between the items of conformity (KS) and non-compliance (KTS) from Education Standards, Research Standards, PKM Standards and Internal Driven Standards (Student Admission (PMB), Student Affairs, Graduates, Management Information Systems (SIM) and Cooperation). The results of the descriptive analysis carried out found an increase in the percentage of conformity (KS) and a decrease in the percentage of non-conformance (KTS) from the implementation of the Internal Quality Audit in 2018/19 and 2019/20. Several operational problems related to the implementation of the quality management system. Based on the results of the internal quality audit, several problems were found related to the implementation of the quality assurance system, including: 1) Not 100% of the STIKes Mitra academic community has a high awareness of quality commitment and performance documentation, 2) Auditees are not 100% obedient in the use of procedure manuals and still often replace documents without legal aspects from LPM, and 3) Efforts to achieve standards have not been carried out overall. The prevention strategies planned by STIKes Mitra Keluarga include: 1) Refreshing the quality commitment of the STIKes Mitra Keluarga academic community, 2) At the beginning of each semester, documents will be issued from the UPM of each study program and the frequency of monitoring and evaluation of the use of documents will be increased, 3) STIKes Mitra Keluarga leaders need to motivate the entire community to try to implement a strategy to achieve quality standards, 4) Make quality standards as indicators in strategic plans, and 5) Implement a system of rewards and punishments.

Abstract

Abstract Indonesia is a unique country, where differences and diversity can coexist within the framework of unity. However, diversity in Indonesia, especially in terms of belief, can also trigger disharmony conflicts in the form of cases of blasphemy. The case of Hadfana Fairus "The Kicker of Sesajen" is one example. Through a viral video circulating on social media, it shows him throwing and kicking offerings on Mount Semeru, Lumajang, East Java. Reflecting on these problems, the researcher is interested in studying more deeply about the implications of the case of "The Kicker of Sesajen" as a reflection of learning in order to maintain the quality of the existence of religious moderation. In this study, several formulations of the problem were formulated, namely related to the chronology of the case of "The Kicker of Sesajen", the urgency of religious moderation in Indonesia, and the last reflection of learning in the case of "The Kicker of Sesajen". Using this type of qualitative research with a case study approach, followed by the method of collecting data from literature or literature studies, as well as Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis techniques, the results of this study indicate that religious moderation is quite urgent in a plural and multicultural Indonesia. On this basis, the case of "The Kicker of Sesajen" can provide a reflection of learning for religious people in maintaining the quality of the existence of religious moderation in Indonesia, both in terms of humanism, religiosity, and also the law. Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk memaparkan deskirpsi atas kajian konseptual tentang kurikulum dan platform merdeka mengajar yang diwacanakan untuk digunakan setiap sekolah pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi pustaka dengan mempergunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kurikulum dan platform merdeka mengajar ditonjolkan sikap proaktif menghadapi perubahan secara progresif dan transformatif. Ini dapat dilihat dari arah pengembangan pembelajaran yang secara positif dapat memulihkan produktifitas dalam aktivitas belajar mengajar. Melalui proses pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada proyek, proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung lebih luwes, aktif dan adaptif. Pendidik diberikan keleluasaan untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang dipandang tepat bagi peserta didik sehingga pelaksanaan aktivitas belajar mengajar dapat berjalan dengan menyenangkan, lebih mendalam dan merdeka. Untuk itu, hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kurikulum dan platform merdeka belajar tersebut sesuai dengan upaya Negara Indonesia untuk mewujudkan iklim pendidikan yang berkualitas sehingga dapat melahirkan generasi yang siap beradaptasi dalam perkembangan kondisi zaman saat ini.

Abstract

Higher education quality assurance is aimed at quality education. Universities must systematically carry out the quality assurance process through the Higher Education Quality Assurance System and refer to the National Higher Education Standards. There are two quality assurance systems in higher education, namely; internal quality assurance and external quality assurance. The internal quality assurance system is a systemic activity of quality assurance of higher education by each university autonomously to control and improve the implementation of higher education in a planned and sustainable manner. Meanwhile, the external quality assurance system is an assessment activity carried out by outside units to determine the feasibility of universities. This study aims to fully describe two main things in the quality assurance system in higher education institutions, namely; internal quality assurance and external quality assurance. In obtaining this research data, a qualitative approach to the type of library research is used, by collecting data from books, journals and articles. Data analysis is carried out using content analysis. The results of the study found that: First, internal quality assurance includes: policies and procedures for quality assurance; approval, monitoring and periodic review of programs and awards; student assessment, quality assurance of teaching staff/lecturers; learning resources and student support; information systems; public information. Second, external quality assurance, namely: the use of procedures; process development; criteria for decisions; process in accordance with the purpose; reporting; follow-up procedures; periodic review of the implementation; and system-wide analysis

Abstract

The use of gadgets that are used effectively will have positive impacts on users. However, elementary school-age students have not been able to use gadgets effectively, so it is not uncommon for the use of gadgets to have more negative impacts than positive impacts. One of the negative impacts that are shown directly is the excessive use of gadgets that can affect students' social behavior. This study aims to analyze the impact of using gadgets on the social behavior of fifth-grade students at Elementary School 2 Tangkil, Cidahu District in Sukabumi Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach to the case study method. A qualitative approach so that researchers can reveal the impact of using gadgets on the social behavior of elementary school-age children. The research subjects consisted of nine students who already had their gadgets. The results showed that the use of gadgets in fifth-grade students at Elementary School 2 Tangkil for an average of three hours every day with a fairly high category. The positive impacts of using this gadget include gaining broad knowledge by searching for information on google, making it easier to communicate with others, and playing games that sharpen children's brains. Furthermore, students mentioned that gadget access activities were carried out for various information through google and searching for the subject matter, and helping with school assignments. In the aspect of social behavior, fifth-grade students at Elementary School 2 Tangkil are to be good criteria. Students can still show mutual help, courtesy, and respectness during the widespread use of gadgets in elementary school-aged children

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the understanding, interests and perspectives of lecturers, students and education staff on MBKM activities and analyze the impact of MBKM implementation on lecturers, students and staff as a measure of the success of the MBKM program at Djuanda University. The research was conducted on 15 - 20 December in seven (7) undergraduate faculties at the University of Djuanda Bogor. Data collection was carried out using the census method. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that the understanding of lecturers, students and staff related to MBKM activities is quite good. The interest of lecturers, students and staff is also quite good. The perspectives of lecturers, students and students obtained are quite good and the implementation of MBKM has a good impact on the competence of lecturers and students both on hard-skills and soft-skills of students.
