Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam penelitian ini, menganalisis program madrasah adiwiyata sebagai salah satu upaya meningkatkan karakter sadar lingkungan siswa-siswi MTsN Gresik. Berbagai program adiwiyata telah dilaksanakan secara maksimal di MTsN Gresik dengan tujuan menumbuhkan karakter cinta dan ramah terhadap lingkungan. Melalui program ini menjadi salah satu upaya dalam memberikan Pendidikan lingkungan hidup kepada semua warga madrasah pada umumnya dan siswa-siswi khususnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai suatu kejadian. Metode ini lebih mengarah kepada subjek dan interpretatif. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengumpulkan informasi melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan gabungan atau triangulasi kemudian diambil kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini, dinyatakan bahwasanya program madrasah adiwiyata yang telah diterapkan sekitar 5tahun di MTsN Gresik telah membawa perubahan yang signifikan terhadap karakter siswa-siswi dalam pengelolaan lingkungan hidup. Namun, masih perlu adanya keteladanan dan pengawasan yang lebih dari pihak sekolah khususnya tim adiwiyata. Kata Kunci : Madrasah, Adiwiyata, Karakter, Sadar Lingkungan

Abstract

This article contains the concept of participatory education that is applied in the world of education so far not been implemented to the fullest. There are still a few things that need to be improved especially in Islamic education. After knowing the problem, the writer tries to solve the problem using John Dewey's theory of progressivism. John Dewey's theory of progressivism when associated with participatory education that both have the same goal. Both when combined will make it easier for students to find experience through self-exploration and find their potential in solving problems that will be faced in the future and have a change (progress) better. In implementing participatory education with John Dewey's theory of progressivism in Islamic education it needs to be filtered back with the values that have been prescribed in Islam. If it is positive, not contradictory and beneficial, it needs to be applied. However, if there are things that are contrary to Islamic values then it does not need to be applied, it is enough to be used as knowledge.

Abstract

This paper elaborates an Islamic Education thought of Kiai Kholil as Indonesian scholars. This study uses library research to reveal the thought and the role of Kiai Kholil in developing Islamic Education in the Nusantara. The result of this research showed KH. Muhammad Kholil goodly accepted with his methods of Islamic Education espicially in the Traditional Islamic Education. KH. Muhammad Kholil Bangkalan is needed to be a great example for contemporary generation. His journey of study is based on sincere of his heart, loving sciences and good attitude to the teachers. We can copy his spirit for contemporary generation to get succes in learning by concerned and prefer to take a part of humans quality empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to find how to: (1) The Nature of Education and Quality, (2) Forming Factors of Quality Education Perspective of Hasratusy Shaykh Kyai Hasyim Asy'ari, (3) The Meaning of Quality Education Perspective of Hasratusy Shaikh Kyai Hasyim Asy'ari. The method used is qualitative research and approach library research. The results of research on the Quality of Education Perspective Hadratusysyaikh Kyai Hasyim Asy'ari shows that: quality educational rights are educators (muta’allim) and students (‘alim) who always improve and improve their competence, which is determined by 2 factors , namely: behavior and the flow of knowledge from the teacher's blessing, as well as the meaning of KH.Hasyim Asy'ari's perspective of education is the stage in taking and obtaining knowledge must be with a clear, careful and detailed sanitation and accompanied by a sincere, and pure heart.

Abstract

Bahasa merupakan salah satu ciri khas untuk membedakan manusia dengan makhluk lainnya. Bahasa sebagai suatu sistem alat komunikasi adalah suatu bagian dari sistem budaya, bahkan merupakan bagian inti dari budaya. Budaya manusia tidak akan mungkin terjadi tanpa adanya bahasa, karena bahasa merupakan faktor utama yang menentukan terbentuknya suatu budaya. Dalam menyusun sebuah kurikulum kita harus mengetahui landasan-landasan yang kuat yang didasarkan pada pemikiran yang mendalam terlebih dahulu dan kurikulum disusun berdasarkan kondisi sosial dan budaya. Faktor budaya sangat penting dalam menyusun sebuah kurikulum yang relevan, bahwa kurikulum merupakan sebuah alat untuk merealisasikan pada sistem pedidikan sebagai usaha untuk mengawetkan kebudayaan itu sendiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian library research (studi pustaka) yang mengandalkan buku-buku ataupun jurnal, kemudian peneliti menganalisis data dengan metode contect analysis (analisis isi).

Abstract

Education can not apart from the education system itself. The education system implemented in educational institutions has a big role in determining student output. Educational institutions at the top level, for example at the high school level which incidentally under the Ministry of Education and Culture certainly have different goals from education at the level of MAN under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion. Judging from the output objectives to be achieved only conflict between one another, plus the compilation of the two education systems put together then what happens is the output of the educational institution will be half measures, so that the goals mentioned earlier can be used in accordance with what has been is expected. The writing of this article discusses the challenges of dualism in the education system in Indonesia by using literature and comparative studies, as well as discussing the implications arising from this dualism, and being able to provide contributive solutions in the arena of Indonesia's education world.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques there are methods used,  Namely, observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis uses there stages namely, data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions from the results of the study. Respondents who were the source of information were the principal, counseling, guidance teacher, student for students, PAI Teacher and Student, PAI Teacher and Students. Abstract

This article focuses on history of education in Muslim world in from fourteenth until seventeenth centiuries in Ottoman state. As the most important Muslim state in the world during classical period (1300-1600), Ottoman state became the role model of education system for Muslims. Influenced by Seljuk Anatolia state, Ottoman built education through medrese system controlled by state. The system supported the state to design career development for its subject. In addition to devşirme system, medrese system provided large opportunity for its subject to obtain career as teacher and professor (müderris), judge (kadı), and bureaucrat (kalemiye). Research method in this article are qualitative and bibliographical research. Author examines historical reseources to analyze research problem. The aim of research is to observe and analyze relationship between education system and career development in Ottoman state. According to this research, author concludes that medrese system in Ottoman state provided opportunity for its subject to participate in social mobility thorugh its career in government circle.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out how the feasibility of the ministry of religius Affairs of the republik of Indonesia with the criteria of teaching book According to BNSP. This study is considered important which given the feasibility of teaching book should refer to the criteria of BNSP. The research was conducted  With the qualitative approach and used literature research in data mining. The research method is conducted in three phases, they are:1) analyzing students books SKI class XIII MTS, 2) develop instrument of teaching book criteria According to BNSP, 3) relevant data collection, grouping data, provide assessment and explanation in narative. The feasibility rate of the teaching book in value with the predicate is less decent, decent enough, decent, and very decent. This study obtained the result that the conformity of Islamic cultural history book. According to BNSP has a very decent criteria to be used as teaching materials with the value of 93,02.

Abstract

This research aims to review the application of discovery learning methods and recitation methods towards student's learning interest in primary school. This research uses meta-analysis model and the data was collected from theories and research result in e-journal from Google Cendekia and IAIN's library. Data analysis performed with a qualitative descriptive step. This study revealed that discovery learning methods was able to increase student's learning interest between 11% until 49% with average point 21,39%. Based on the results of the analysis, it concluded that the application of discovery learning methods and recitation learning methods in learning could increase primary student learning interest, especially in science subjects.
