Abstract

Building Fish Landing Places (TPI) that ther stimuli are buildings constructed for thefishermen land their catch of fish. These buildings have been built but not yet enabled bythe local government, especially the Department of Marine and Fisheries Meranti IslandsRegency. This is because the Department has the authority to regulate and supervise theactivities of marine and fisheries. Peneliitian purpose of this is to know the problemsfaced by the Department of Marine and Fisheries in the functioning of Fish LandingPlaces (TPI).Arrangement is to create a way to make a pekerjan have goals, direction to be achieved,sby knowing the existing procedures. This study used a qualitative descriptive method.Data were obtained from the interview data, documentary studies, and field observations.Informants in this study are those relating to the discussion of the function of FishLanding Places (TPI) is.The results showed that in the discussion of the function of pemanfaataan Fish LandingPlaces (TPI) is not able to function because of the absence of directives from the centralgovernment to the regions, and because of inadequate facilities. Abstract

ABSTRACT[Implementation of Discovery Learning Model on Electromagnetic Wave Application Material of Various Palm Oil Impurity Analysis With Spectrophotometry UV-Vis].The aims of this study was to describe the differences between the learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learning with students studying physics learning conventionally onwaves electromagnetic material.  The method used quasi experimental research with Pretest-Posttest Control GroupDesign research conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Sample research used 2 classes i.e. class X.3 as a experimental class and class X.2 as a control class. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that there was a difference between learning outcomes of students who learn to use the learning model of Discovery Learningwith students studying in conventional method. The data views from the average final value obtained after being given the treatment. The average value of experimental classes after being given the treatment model of learning by Discovery Learning was 76.27, while the average value of control class after being given treatment to conventional learning was 67.00.Keywords: Discovery; Learning;Electromagnetic Waves; Spectrophotometry UV-Vis.(Received August 23, 2018; Accepted March 2, 2019; Published June 18, 2019)ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL) dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional pada pembelajaran fisika dengan materi gelombang elektromagnetik.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control GroupDesign, yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan berjumlah 2 kelas yakni kelas X.3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning (DL) dengan siswa yang belajar secara konvensional. Data tersebut dilihat dari nilai rata-rata akhir yang diperoleh setelah diberi perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen setelah diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning sebesar 76,27, sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol setelah diberi perlakuan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 67,00.Kata Kunci:Discovery; Learning; GelombangElektromagnetik; Spektrofotometri UV-Vis.

Abstract

This article contains the concept of participatory education that is applied in the world of education so far not been implemented to the fullest. There are still a few things that need to be improved especially in Islamic education. After knowing the problem, the writer tries to solve the problem using John Dewey's theory of progressivism. John Dewey's theory of progressivism when associated with participatory education that both have the same goal. Both when combined will make it easier for students to find experience through self-exploration and find their potential in solving problems that will be faced in the future and have a change (progress) better. In implementing participatory education with John Dewey's theory of progressivism in Islamic education it needs to be filtered back with the values that have been prescribed in Islam. If it is positive, not contradictory and beneficial, it needs to be applied. However, if there are things that are contrary to Islamic values then it does not need to be applied, it is enough to be used as knowledge.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian mengenai analisa kandungan Fe (II) air selokan disekitar TPA II kelurahan karya jaya musi 2 palembang dengan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kandungan logam besi pada air lindi disekitar tempat pembuangan akhir menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil karakterisasi air lindi dengan spektrofotometri UV-Vis menunjukkan kandungan logam besi yang paling tinggi berada pada titik sampel 4 ke 4 sebesar 2.767 mg/I dengan rata-rata kandungan 0.7308 mg/I yang melebihi kadar baku mutu kualitas air sesuai dengan Peraturan pemerintah No.82 tahun 2001 bahwa kadar besi yang diperbolehkan dalam baku mutu kualitas air kelas I sebesar 0.3 mg/I.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychological factors that affect speaking ability in Arabic among Arabic Language Education students at UIN Sumatera Utara (UIN SU). Dominant psychological factors include language anxiety, motivation, self-efficacy, and self-confidence. Language anxiety serves as a major barrier to speaking due to fear of negative judgment. Meanwhile, high intrinsic and extrinsic motivation plays a significant role in encouraging students to be more active in practicing. High self-efficacy helps students feel more confident in their abilities even when making mistakes, while strong self-confidence provides encouragement to not fear making errors. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and literature analysis. The results of the study indicate that language anxiety hinders students' speaking ability, while high motivation and self-efficacy enhance their self-confidence and speaking skills. This study suggests the importance of applying teaching strategies that consider psychological factors and create a supportive environment to improve Arabic speaking skills among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak penggunaan Google Translate dibandingkan dengan keterampilan manual dalam menghasilkan terjemahan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Arab. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan mahasiswa yang menggunakan kedua pendekatan tersebut, serta analisis dokumen yang mencakup teks terjemahan yang dihasilkan menggunakan Google Translate dan keterampilan manual. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan perbedaan antara kedua metode dalam hal akurasi, kecepatan, dan kesesuaian konteks terjemahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Google Translate memberikan kemudahan dan kecepatan, hasil terjemahannya sering kali kurang akurat, terutama untuk teks yang kompleks. Sebaliknya, keterampilan manual menghasilkan terjemahan yang lebih akurat dan sesuai dengan konteks, meskipun memerlukan waktu yang lebih lama. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi dalam penerjemahan harus diimbangi dengan pengembangan keterampilan manual untuk menghasilkan terjemahan yang lebih berkualitas

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the use of muqabalah as a language style in Surah Al-Mulk and its impact on conveying moral and spiritual messages in the Al-Qur'an. Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes verses containing muqabalah and discusses various contrasts that arise, such as life and death, courage and fear, and luck and loss. The methodology used includes literature study, tafsir, and rhetorical analysis to explore how muqabalah enriches the meaning of the text and increases reader understanding. The results of this research show that there is Muqabalah Khilafi in verse 3, Muqabalah Naziri in verse 15, and Muqabalah Naqidhi in verses 20, 21, and 22. These findings confirm that the use of muqabalah in Surah Al-Mulk not only clarifies the meaning, but also has a psychological impact profound for readers. The contrasts displayed serve to increase moral awareness and spiritual responsibility, as well as provide relevance to these messages in modern life. The uniqueness of this research lies in its emphasis on how muqabalah can be applied in learning the Koran in the contemporary era, as well as providing suggestions for increasing spiritual awareness through creative and relevant approaches. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to a better understanding and application of the teachings of the Qur'an among Muslims.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan populasi dan urbanisasi yang pesat menuntut sistem manajemen infrastruktur perkotaan yang lebih efisien dan responsif. Infrastruktur seperti jalan raya, saluran air, jaringan listrik, dan fasilitas umum lainnya harus dikelola secara terintegrasi untuk memastikan keberlanjutan, ketahanan, dan layanan publik yang optimal. Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) menawarkan solusi yang mampu menggabungkan data spasial dan non-spasial untuk menyediakan analisis yang mendalam serta membantu pengambilan keputusan yang cepat dan berbasis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan SIG berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara real-time, dengan kemampuan untuk memantau kondisi infrastruktur, melakukan analisis prediktif terhadap kebutuhan pemeliharaan, serta mendukung perencanaan jangka panjang. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup analisis kebutuhan pengguna, desain dan pengembangan perangkat lunak, serta pengujian fungsional untuk memastikan keakuratan data dan kehandalan sistem. Sistem yang dikembangkan tidak hanya memungkinkan visualisasi data yang interaktif, tetapi juga mendorong kolaborasi antar-instansi dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur perkotaan. Hasil dari pengembangan ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan sumber daya, mempercepat proses pengambilan keputusan, serta meningkatkan transparansi dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur perkotaan. Implementasi SIG ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam menciptakan kota yang lebih cerdas, berkelanjutan, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat urban

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to integrate TPACK (Technological Pedagogical And Content Knowledge) in the preparation of teaching modules for prospective mathematics education teachers. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique used is observation in the form of documentation studies of 41 teaching modules made by prospective mathematics education teachers at UIR in the microteaching course and using interview techniques to find out more about students' knowledge. The data used in the study is the ability to integrate technology in the TPACK of prospective teachers which includes TK (Technological Knowledge), PK (Pedagogical Knowledge), CK (Content Knowledge), TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), TCK (Technological Content Knowledge), PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge), and TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content knowledge). This study uses quantitative data analysis techniques, namely descriptive statistical data analysis. The results of this study indicate that, TK prospective teachers (29.8%) are in the poor category, PK prospective teachers (59%) are in the sufficient category, CK prospective teachers (53.6%) are in the sufficient category, TPK prospective teachers (7.3%) are classified as not good, TCK prospective teachers (4.8%) are in the poor category, PCK prospective teachers (63.4%) are in the good category, and TPACK prospective teachers (19.9%) are classified as not good.

Abstract

The responsibility and hard work of oil palm workers for the work they do by working as best as possible in order to get the expected results as a form of work ethic of oil palm workers in meeting the economic needs of their families. The main focus in this study is to find out the responsibility, hard work, and discipline that are the work ethic of oil palm workers and the efforts of oil palm workers in maintaining the family economy as seen from managing finances, saving, and having additional sources of income. This research was conducted at PT. Bakrie Pasaman Plantations (BPP), Koto Balingka District, West Pasaman Regency. This research uses the Motivation Theory of Abraham Maslow. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach that aims to describe and analyze certain phenomena in depth about what the research subject experienced. The results of this study show that the work ethic of oil palm workers can be seen from the sense of responsibility, hard work, and discipline towards the work they do by doing the work in a directed manner to get optimal results. Then the efforts made by oil palm workers in maintaining their family's economy are by working side jobs such as working on privately owned plantations and opening stall businesses such as basic necessities, coffee shops, fried foods, and lontong stalls.
