At-Tarbawi: Academic Journal on Islamic Education Studies by Islamic Education and Teacher Training Faculty, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia This is an academic journal on Islamic Education Studies published twice a year. Abstract

The study was conducted to analyze the achievement of standards of educators and education personnel. This is important to discuss to ensure the achievement of an institution in eight national education standards. This research method uses descriptive method. The participation of this research was 25 educators and education staff in SMP Muhammadiyah Cipanas Middle School, Cianjur Regency. The instrument used refers to nineteen standard indicators of educators and education personnel in the form of interview guidelines. The conclusions of this study are (1) the achievement profile of the standard indicators of educators and education personnel, showing varied results with an average achievement of 83%; (2) indicators that have not reached the maximum score are certification teachers, BK teacher professionalism, BK Teacher Ratio, and Library Staff. Recommendations on the results of this study need an in-depth study of certification teachers and the ratio of BK teachers in schools.

Abstract

This research aimed at investigating the Strategy used by Instructors of SEC (SMAGA English Club) 2018.Teaching English Speaking at Student of EFL is the most difficult thing for the Instructors. Language teaching strategies should be fun and enjoyable because learning language will be easier by using a good method and strategy that help language learners easier to understand. Every student will have different character in understanding a material. Therefore, Instructors have to facilitate them as good as possible.The Instructors strategy will influence to language learners understanding. In conducting the research, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research. observation, interview and documentation were the data collection technique. After data has been collected, the researcher analysed the data. The researcher took step of it started from reducing the data, display the data and the last drawing conclusion. This research took subjects of two Instructors of SMAGA English Club of SMAN 3 of Ponorogo the SEC consist of two divisions, general division and competition division. The data were collected from the observation, interview and documentation that organized based on research problems. Then researcher described the result.The results of that data were analysed to understand what the instructors’ strategy in motivating student’s speaking is. The researcher found that the student of SMAN 3 of Ponorogo have a good motivation in learning speaking and the strategy is used by two instructors are socio affective strategy and cognitive strategy. When applying socio affective strategy instructor used same games, the games are scrabble, tongue twister, who am I? and command games. Instructors also apply cognitive strategies by practice and repetition. In addition, the results of their strategy are for the general division they are getting better in speaking and for the competition division the student got some achievements that reach in some competition.By this research researcher suggested for instructors, students and other researcher. Instructors have to use appropriate strategy in teaching. Students have to more understand about speaking skill by instructor’s strategy. For other researcher can use the result of the research as the references for further research with different discussion domain of instructor’s teaching.

Abstract

Data India shows that  Muslim population in India, at the census 2001, was in second place after Hindus. It reached 138 million (13.4%) after Hindus which is little over 827 million (80.5%). This number implies how Islam has been well-received in India and entered into various areas of life including education. Muslim Educational System in India has developed over decades through its Islamic institution and madrasas. This study aims to see the language teaching in Darul Uloom, Deoband as it is reflected through its educational system and curriculum. This is a library based research in which extensive reviews of literature has been made in attempt to produce a descriptive qualitative analysis. This study shows that in Darul Uloom Deoband, stylized writing mastery has become the ultimate skills to acquire.here,  Language is not only merely targeted as a means of communication but also as a means to study Islamic textbooks. Moreover, it is expected that through the language mastery its students and alumni can be author of many books in Arabic and English. Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran berlangsung tidak sesuai dengan tujuan kurikulum 2013 dan siswa kesulitan dalam mengingat pelajaran yang telah diterangkan oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan sebagai upaya dalam penanggulangan masalah yang terjadi di SD Muhammadiyah Bayen dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi antara lapangan dan deskriptif literatur. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperlukannya integrasi antara pendidikan agama islam dan mata pelajaran lainnya seperti mata pelajaran sains serta penggunaan metode eksperimen dalam pembelajaran berpengaruh meningkatnya aspek afektif, kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the  competitions phenomenon between  universities  to get the public/stakeholders trust. That’s the public trust have more influence on development of educational institution. Based on those phenomena, Researcher chose the Magister Program of  PAI (Islamic Education) IAIN (State Islamic Institution) Surakarta as field of research. The Magister Program of PAI (MPAI) as new program must built good image for stakeholders.This research was conducted to reveal the perception of Stakeholders on the Magister Program of PAI IAIN Surakarta. This research used qualitative design to analyze  data. The data was obtained through  interview and Focus Group Discussion (FGD), and used the triangulation technic to obtain the data’s validity .The results of this research are the stakeholders internal judged that, 1. MPAI can accommodates the hopes of the graduates of S1,  and teachers in the surrounding area can continue their studies to Magister program; 2. the vision, mission and MPAI curriculum will be able to respon community demans in the future; 3. MPAI still does not have adequate  facilities yet; 4  some stakeholders see that most of the MPAI lectures had the feasibility standard to teach at MPAI; but others don’t agree with the judge.   Key word: Perseption, Stakeholders.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of Nahwu learning by using the Qiyasi method in XI grade class of MA Ibnu Qoyyim Putra as well as students' responses regarding the Qiyasi method in nahwu learning. The method used in this research is a qualitative research with field research, the research subjects used are the students of XI grade, amounting to 42. While the data collection technique is observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The data obtained are sourced from nahwu teachers, XI grade students and other parties concerned. The result in this research shows that the Qiyasi method is suitable for the intermediate level because this method is practical and understanable for recognizing “Nahwu” but this method also has to be supported by the interaction of teachers and active students. Factors that influence learning are the enthusiasm of the teacher and his motivation in conveying. The inhibiting factor is inadequate facilities, especially the absence of an education manual and only relies on material from teachers.

Abstract

In modern education, religion becomes a study that is not prioritized because it is transcendental. Religion subject in formal education involves ambiguity in search of learning purposes. Some countries choose to return religious studies as an option rather than a mandatory subject. This study attempts to examine the importance of religion subject in formal education. The method employs literature reviews from research reports of the model of religion subject in particular countries thus these are compared with the religion subject model in Indonesia. The results show that developed countries reform religion subjects as an optional subject, while Indonesia might recognize religion subjects in formal education even though it factually does not indicate suitability for configuring students' characters.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untukmeningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar PKn materi sistem pemerintahan Indonesia bagi siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Combongan 01 Kecamatan Sukoharjo Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 melalui metode Contextual Teaching and Learning.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Combongan 01 Kecamatan Sukoharjo, Kabupaten Sukoharjo pada semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019selama 6 (enam) bulan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VISD Negeri Combongan 01 Kecamatan Sukoharjoyang terdiri dari 15 orang siswa.Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah Contextual Teaching and Learning dengan prosedur penelitian yaitu: 1) perencanaan; 2) pelaksanaan;3) observasi; dan 4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukaan adanya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar siswa. Peningkatan kualitas belajar terbukti dengan meningkatnya jumlah siswa yang mendapatkan kriteria baik dalam proses pembelajaran yakni pada kondisi awal sebesar 40,00% meningkat menjadi 100% pada akhir siklus II. Peningakatan prestasi belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa serta ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal. Nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa pada Kondisi Awal sebesar 69,67meningkat menjadi 82,00 pada akhir siklus II, sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12,33. Ditinjau dari ketuntasan belajar siswa secara kelasikal yakni pada Kondisi Awal sebesar 53,33% meningkat menjadi 100% pada akhir Siklus II, sehingga mengalami peningkatan 46,67%.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwapenggunaan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran dan prestasi belajar PKn materi sistem pemerintahan Indonesia bagi siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Combongan 01 Kecamatan Sukoharjo Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019.  Kata Kunci:Contextual Teaching and Learning, PKn, Prestasi belajar

Abstract

ABSTRAKKesatuan Ilmu Pengetahuan merupakan paradigma keilmuan yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan tridharma perguruan tinggi di UIN Walisongo Semarang, termasuk di dalamnya adalah aktivitas pembelajaran dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia. Pembelajaran berbasis teks adalah pendekatan pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia yang menggunakan teks sebagai satuan kebahasaan menjadi basis materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis teks mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia dalam paradigma Kesatuan Ilmu Pengetahuan di UIN Walisongo Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) hakikat perkuliahan Bahasa Indonesia berbasis teks dalam Paradigma Kesatuan Ilmu Pengetahuan adalah sebagai berikut: (a) mengantarkan pengkajinya semakin mengenal Tuhannya, (b) bermanfaat bagi keberlangsungan hidup manusia dan alam, dan (c) mampu mendorong berkembangnya ilmu-ilmu baru yang berbasis pada kearifan lokal (local wisdom); (2) strategi perkuliahan Bahasa Indonesia berbasis teks dalam Paradigma Kesatuan Ilmu Pengetahuan dilaksanakan dengan empat tahap secara siklus yang dipadukan dengan strategi spiritualisasi ilmu-ilmu modern dan revitalisasi kearifan lokal, yakni: (a) tahap pembangunan konteks, (b) tahap pemodelan, (c) tahap bekerja sama membangun/mengembangkan teks, dan (d) tahap membangun/mengembangkan teks secara mandiri; (3) capaian pembelajaran perkuliahan Bahasa Indonesia berbasis teks dalam Paradigma Kesatuan Ilmu Pengetahuan diwujudkan dalam subcapaian mata kuliah (sub-CPMK) dan capaian mata kuliah (CPMK) yang selaras dengan kompetensi dasar lulusan UIN Walisongo dan kompetensi yang diharapkan dari pembelajar berbasis teks.

Abstract

Kegiatan berbicara sebenarnya kegiatan yang menarik dalam kelas, namun sering terjadi sebaliknya, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh penguasaan mufrodat dan kurangnya strategi yang digunakan oleh pengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penerapan belajar mahasiswa dalam bahasa arab setelah memggunakan stand up category untuk pembelajaran maharah kalam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di unira kepanjen kab malang kelas B angkatan 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskripstif kualitatif dan merupakan penelitian lapangan. Hasil pembelajaran maharah kalam dengan metode ini mengalami kenaikan yakni 82% mahasisea dapat menulis dan melafalkan dengan lengkap dan benar. K3mudian 18% mahasiswa kurang bemar. Dapan disimpilkan bahwa implikasi dari metode ini bahwasanya hasilnya meningkat dan telah terbiasa berpikir kritis dan kreatif terkait sub bab materi pembelajaran kalam.
