Abstract

Da'wah, or spreading Islamic teachings, is an obligation for Muslims to guide them towards the right path. In the contemporary era, the integration of technology, especially social media platforms such as Facebook, plays an important role in conveying religious messages. This research explores the strategic approach to Bil Hikmah da'wah implemented by the Facebook account @pecintaudud, associated with Ustadz Maududi. This research aims to understand how these accounts use sentimental, rational and sensory strategies to convey Islamic messages effectively. Despite being faced with challenges such as negative perceptions and limited resources, @pecintaudud shows resilience and commitment in spreading positive messages through creative content. This study emphasizes the significance of social media in contemporary da'wah, while highlighting the role of dedication and integration of technology in overcoming various challenges. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Which, to obtain data for this thesis using interview techniques, observation and documentation. Furthermore, so that this research can be focused, the theory that is used as a reference in this thesis is dakwah strategy theory. Abstract

The Journalistic Code of Ethics plays a very important role in the world of the press as a guide to the values of the journalistic profession, so that the journalistic code of ethics must be understood and implemented by journalists. This research is motivated by problems in implementing the photojournalism code of ethics. The aim of this research is to find out how the photojournalism code of ethics is applied to accident news on Tribunjambi.com. The research approach that researchers use is a qualitative approach with content analysis. Qualitative research is research used to examine the condition of natural objects where the researcher is the core instrument. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data with data collection through documentation, observation and interviews. Apart from that, data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data verification and are continued by checking the validity of the data. The results of this research can be concluded that the application of the code of ethics for photojournalism in general is still not in accordance with press law. Likewise with the journalistic code of ethics which regulates the work of journalists and media in broadcasting photos in news stories. Like other online media, the Tribunjambi.com website will of course try to implement the photojournalism code of ethics every day, but when implementing the photojournalism code of ethics, it is certainly not as easy as desired and expected. Factors that support Tribunjambi.com in implementing a journalistic code of ethics are the provision that Tribunjambi.com provides to its journalists before creating and broadcasting a story, looking for journalists who already have an understanding of the journalistic code of ethics, and providing advice and infrastructure that journalists need. and staff, while the inhibiting factor that journalists, editors in chief and publishers may face in implementing the code of ethics for photojournalism is that they forget or do not pay attention that photos containing sadistic elements should be blurred Keywords: Analysis, Code of Ethics, Photojournalism, Accident

Abstract

research aims to analyze the impact of playing online games on children's communication behavior in the family environment in Pulau Tujuh Village, West Pamenang District, Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. The theory used in this research is George Gerbner's Cultivation Theory which states that media, including online games, can shape individual perceptions and behavior in the long term. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. The population in this study were all children in Pulau Tujuh Village who actively played online games. Sampling was carried out using a stratified random sampling technique to ensure proportional representation of various age and gender groups. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 84 child respondents. The research results show that playing online games has a significant impact on children's communication behavior in the family environment. Children who often play online games tend to show more closed communication behavior, are less interactive with family members, and spend more time in front of the screen than interacting directly. In addition, it was found that the intensity of playing online games was closely related to a decrease in the frequency of verbal and non-verbal communication between children and parents.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the urgency of tolerance in the digital era which should be mainstreamed in order to realize peaceful and harmonious coexistence amidst the diversity of Indonesian society. As is done on Deddy Corbuzier's YouTube channel which raises the theme of tolerance in religion and diversity. This theme certainly cannot be separated from the nuances of Ramadan, the content is named #LogIndiCloseTheDoor. From this problem, researchers identified two problems, namely: First, is there an influence of YouTube content #LogIndiCloseTheDoor on the tolerant attitude of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University, Jambi. Second, whether Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University become more tolerant after watching YouTube content #LogIndiCloseTheDoor. The research approach that the author uses is quantitative correlational research methods using observation, questionnaires and documentation. A total of 52 respondents were selected as samples from a population of 159 students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program at UIN Jambi, from semester 8, in the 2023/2024 academic year. Data processing was carried out using SPSS statistical software by analyzing the 12 question items in the questionnaire to obtain more structured and informative results. The results of this research show that the YouTube content #LogIndiCloseTheDoor influences the tolerance attitude of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University as proven by a simple linear regression test with the tolerance attitude variable that t count > t table, namely 6.487 is greater than 4.03 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the results of this research are in accordance with the cultivation theory that mass media also maintains, disseminates and unifies the values ​​that exist in society. In this research, the content of #LogIndicloseTheDoor is considered capable of spreading the values ​​of tolerance to Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students at Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi State Islamic University so that students become more respectful of each other in everyday life

Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between devotion to worship and academic intelligence, by focusing on the perspective contained in the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 282. Researchers want to understand how devotion to worship, as explained in this verse, can influence academic intelligence. The research method used is text analysis of the Koran and literature studies relevant to education. Researchers studied verses from the Koran to understand the concept of obedience to worship and then reviewed literature related to education to understand how obedience to prayer affects academic intelligence. It is hoped that the findings from this research will provide valuable insights for educators, students and researchers. Educators can use these findings to develop educational programs that help improve their religious devotion and academic intelligence. So they can use these findings to understand how devotion to worship can help them achieve success in the studies they are currently undertaking. Researchers can use these findings to conduct further research on the relationship between obedience to prayer and academic intelligence.
