This research was inisiated by the low test results of students in various schools, especially SMPN 40 Padang, which was caused by the application of a learning model that was not suitable for the students' conditions. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Guided Inquiry learning model on learning outcomes of the human digestive system in class VIII students of SMPN 40 Padang. The research design was a quasi-experimental and posttest only non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 40 Padang consisting of 5 classes with a total of 427 students. The sample for this study used a random sampling technique, so that the selected sample was class VIII3 as the experimental class and class VIII4 as the control class. Data collection used cognitive learning outcomes tests, objective questions and psychomotor assessment sheets that had been validated previously. The results showed that the average value of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 58.8 higher than the control class, which was 42. The results of the hypothesis test used the t-test with tcount (4.670) > ttable (1.677) at a significant level of 0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha accepted. Based on these results, the application of the Guided Inquiry learning model has positive effect on students learning outcomes on the topic of digestive system at SMPN 40 Padang.

The application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the field of education includes the use of multimedia facilities and internet media in the learning process. This is line with the demands of the 21st century, namely the need for human resources with 4C skills. Therefore, in the field of education must use a curriculum that supports this. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum that encourages 4C skills in education. In the field of 21st century education it is closely related to the STEM approach which is a discipline in the world of education. Learning with the STEM approach is learning that combines four disciplines, namely Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics by focusing on two or more fields in the learning process so that students are active in solving problems in the real world. One way to integrate STEM into learning is through learning media. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. This research was only conducted up to the development stage. The instruments used in this study were teacher and student interview sheets, validity test questionnaires and practical test questionnaires. The research data is calculated using the Moment Kappa (k) formula to analyze the results of the validity and practicality test of android-based learning media. The results of the validity test obtained an average kappa moment (k) value of 0.86 with a very high validity category. The results of the practice test on teachers obtained an average kappa (k) moment value of 0.96 with a very high practicality category and the results of the practical test on students obtained an average kappa (k) moment value of 0.84 with a very high practicality category . Based on these results, it means that Android-based learning media is integrated with STEM projects on substance material and its changes are valid and practical.

This research purposes to make an integrated science module based on a contextual approach to substance pressure material and its application in the life of class VIII SMP/MTs that have criteria in valid and practical. This research type was research and development (R&D). Product developed used model of uses 4-D which is modified into 3-D. The process taken were define, design, and develop. In the process of validation, the module was validated by 3 lecturers as validator, namely material expert validator, linguist, and design expert. The results of the integrated science module development are valid from the validation sheets results that have been assessed by each validator with an overall average of 87.41% with criteria in very valid. In the process of practical, the module was tested by 3 teachers and 26 students of class VIII MTsN 6 Tanah Datar. Practicality results were obtained from practicality sheets (teacher and student response questionnaires) which got 86.90% practicality scores by teachers with very criteria in practical and 82.13% practicality by students with criteria in very practical. The conclusion of this research was to make an included science module based on a contextual approach to substance pressure and its application in the life of class VIII SMP/MTs which was valid and practical to be used in the integrated process of science learning.

This study aims to develop STEM-critical thinking-oriented science experiment videos: a water wheel on the material energy in living systems (VKA) for students, as well as investigate the validity and practicality of the developed video experiments. The type of research used is the development of the Plomp model which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment phase. However, due to time constraints, this research was limited to the prototyping stage. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. In this study, researchers used instruments in the form of validity and practicality questionnaires. The results of the validity test and practicality test were analyzed using the Moment Kappa formula. The validity test was carried out by involving three science education lecturers at FMIPA UNP and the practicality test was carried out on 9 class VII4 students at SMP Negeri 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. The results of this study resulted in a VKA which obtained a validity test of 0.78 with high validity. While the practicality test on the one-to-one test was 0.86 with a very high practicality category, the small group test on students was 0.87 with a very high practicality category. It can be concluded that VKA has a high level of validity and a very high level of practicality.

The 21st century learning is a learning transition in which the developed curriculum requires schools to be able to change the learning approach from teacher centered to student centered. This is supported by the principle of an Kurikulum Merdeka where to achieve learning outcomes it is necessary to use information and communication technology devices in the learning process. One effort that can be made to support educational goals in the 21st century is the development of interactive e-modules in science learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the need for the development of interactive e-modules in junior high school science learning. The method used in this study is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The instruments used in collecting data were observation sheets, interview questionnaires and student characteristics questionnaires. The results of this study are (1) Science learning in schools is still conducted by teacher centered approach; (2) student have low interest and motivation in learning science; (3) There are less innovative teaching materials used to support the science learning process. The conclusion from this study is the need to develop teaching materials in the form of Interactive E-Modules in science learning so that it is expected that science learning can be conducted by student centered approach and increase student interest and motivation which has an impact on improving learning outcomes.
