<![CDATA[This paper aims to explain the results of research on teacher career guidance conducted by the principal of vocational school. As for the indicators are 1) providing motivation 2) implementing job rotation 3) opportunity to participate in training/upgrading 4) opportunity to continue education. The study population numbered 75 teachers at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 3 Padang. Samples were taken using stratified random sampling technique, so that a sample of 54 respondents were obtained. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire compiled in the form of a Likert Scale model and tested for validity using the formula of the hierarchical correlation and reliability test using the alpha formula. The index of validity and reliability is significant at 95% confidence level. Analysis of data research using the average formula. The results of data analysis of the research show that the average teacher career guidance by the principal with a score of 3.50, which means that it is in the category quite good. With this it can be concluded that career guidance by the principal is still not optimal yet. So it needs a more effort from the principal so that the teacher's career guidance takes place as expected.]]>

<![CDATA[Education is one of those affected by Covid-19, so students carry out the learning process from home and the role of parents is demanded more so that they can develop science in children. The socioeconomic status of parents is very important in supporting facilities for learning and developing children's science. This study aims to describe the contribution of parents' socioeconomic background during the Covid-19 period to children's scientific development. This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method with 94 respondents as parents of children in Kindergarten, Bukik Barisan District. Data analysis was performed using the regression method using dummy variables with SPSS 26 software. The instrument was validated using expert judgment techniques and the reliability test showed Cronbach's Alpha 0.872. The research findings show that learning outcomes based on (1) parental occupation and income are in the good category, (2) the contribution of parents' work to the development of science is 3.7%, (3) the contribution of parents' income to the development of science is 9.3%, (4) the contribution of work and income of parents to the development of science is 14.7%, (5) overall, work and income contribute to the development of children's science.]]>

<![CDATA[Research based on phenomena that show a decline in teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to describe the contribution of kindergarten principal leadership and academic supervision to performing kindergarten teachers. This type of research is quantitative, with a descriptive correlational approach. The population in this study were kindergarten teachers, amounting to 43 people. Respondents in this study amounted to 43 people. The instrument used is a Likert model scale and a questionnaire about teacher performance, the leadership of the kindergarten principal, and the academic supervision of the education unit supervisor. Test the validity using the product moment correlation. For the reliability test using Cronbach’s alpha. The requirements analysis tests carried out are; normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The data analysis technique used simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed that; 1) there is a contribution from the leadership of the kindergarten head to performing the kindergarten teacher, 2) there is the contribution of the academic supervision of the education unit supervisor to the kindergarten teacher’s performance, and 3) there is the contribution of the leadership of the kindergarten head and the academic supervision of the education unit supervisor to the kindergarten teacher performance.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the increase in student activity in writing inspirational story texts through audiovisual media in class IX.3 in the 2nd Semester of the 2020/2021 Academic Year at SMPN 1 Kec. Situjuah Limo Nagari. The research method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), with four activities: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 30 students of class IX.3 consisting of 10 boys and 20 girls. Based on the findings during the study, it can be concluded that students' activity in writing inspirational story texts can be increased through audiovisual media.]]>

<![CDATA[Psychological assessment for students is one of the activities that cannot be separated from counseling services. Psychological attributes obtained from the implementation of the assessment can be used by school counselors to intervene and develop counseling programs. However, conditions in the field indicate that school counselors still have not carried out a comprehensive assessment of the condition of students, so this has an impact on the effectiveness of counseling services. This research and community service aims to provide training and skills for school counselors in conducting psychological assessments using an Android application called Potential. The urgency of using this application has increased since the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, where students and school counselors cannot meet face-to-face. This community service is carried out in stages in a series of workshops and independent training. School counselors are provided with a Potential account that can be used at their school. The results of community service activities show that students' psychological conditions are generally mapped through applications and assist school counselors in planning and developing effective programs.]]>

Analisis transaksional juga mendapat pengaruh dari konsep keadaan ego dan pemikiran Erikson tentang perkembangan manusia yang berupa rangkaian urutan dalam kehidupan seseorang, yang kemudian disebut Berne sebagai life script. <![CDATA[Early childhood education needs to develop mathematics. The process of mathematical development in children does not escape the guidance and role of parents. Factors supporting parental guidance include education and parental occupation. This study aims to describe the effect of parents' educational background and occupation on the ability to guide children's mathematics. This study uses a descriptive correlational quantitative method with 186 parents of kindergarten children in the Koto Tangah sub-district as respondents. Analysis of research data was carried out using the percentage of multiple regression with dummy variables using SPSS 26. Data collection from the study used a questionnaire validated by expert judgement techniques and reliability test using Cronbach's alpha formula with the results obtained that is 0.90. The research findings are (1) in terms of parental education, it is in a good category in encouraging children's development, (2) in terms of parents' work, it is in a good category in improving the ability of teachers to monitor children, (3) the effect on increasing mathematical abilities. ,5%, (4) the effect of work on the ability to encourage mathematics by 7.1%, (5) gender does not affect the ability to develop, (6) work and gender together on the ability to develop mathematics by 8 ,3%. (7) overall education, occupation and gender contribute or influence the ability to guide children's mathematics.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan media video animasi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental one group pre-test post-test, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 siswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes pre-test dan post-test, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji-t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor rata-rata siswa dari 65.2 pada pre-test menjadi 82.7 pada post-test, dengan nilai t sebesar -9.43 dan p < 0.001, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Uji prasyarat yang mencakup uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas juga memenuhi asumsi distribusi normal dan homogenitas variansi data. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi siswa. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pendidik dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi visual dalam pembelajaran sains, khususnya pada konsep-konsep biologi yang kompleks]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi pembelajaran yang menarik dalam pendidikan Islam di MTsN Siulak, khususnya pada tiga siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar berbeda: auditori, visual, dan kinestetik. Melalui pendekatan penelitian tindakan kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individual siswa guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterlibatan mereka dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang adaptif—seperti penggunaan media visual untuk siswa visual, narasi cerita untuk siswa auditori, dan kegiatan fisik untuk siswa kinestetik—dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan personal dalam proses pembelajaran di madrasah untuk mengatasi perbedaan gaya belajar, serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru dalam mengembangkan strategi pengajaran yang lebih efektif dan inklusif di MTsN Siulak. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pendidik dalam merancang metode pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan berdampak positif bagi keterlibatan siswa di kelas.]]>
