Abstract

Head of BPS Pematangsiantar, Marlise Simamora, through BPS Social Statistics Function Coordinator Eksandi Simanjuntak, explained that the Covid-19 virus pandemic caused the open unemployment rate (TPT) in Pematangsiantar to increase from 11.09 percent in 2019 to 11.50 percent. The aim of this activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of digital NIB and OSS to obtain ease of business legality and other documents such as corporate or individual NPWP. This activity is carried out using the method of socialization and assistance to the community which is carried out for approximately one month and has a special target for people who do not yet have a business registration number (NIB) but already own or run a micro business. This real work lecture activity has been coordinated directly with the Sait Buttu Saribu Saribu Pamatag Sidamanik Village government.

Abstract

The 17 August activity is closely related to community empowerment activities where the 17 August activity can encourage the community to continue trying and can encourage the community to be more active and come out of the gap and be full of initiative. The aim of this activity is to increase community empowerment through holding a competition on August 17 in the Sait Buttu Saribu Pamatang Sidamanik Village environment. This research method is descriptive qualitative where the researcher tries to capture and express the meaning contained in the empirical data which is linked to secondary data in this study. The result of the empowerment process is a change in the function of the individual from being an object to a (new) subject so that existing social relations will only be characterized by relations between subjects and other subjects.

Abstract

The al-furqon mosque, like other mosques, has a cash register for incoming and outgoing money. All financial reports have been prepared properly, but are still written on a blackboard on one of the walls inside the mosque. If the community wants to donate money, they must report and meet directly with the mosque management. In the same way, people should go to the mosque and look at the notes written on the inside walls if they want to know how the mosque's current finances are. because people still have direct physical contact. However, aid continues to flow from the surrounding community and from various sources, such as Padang City and West Sumatra Province.The community service grant proposing team, consisting of lecturers and students from the Information Systems Study Program at Dharma Andalas University (UNIDHA), is trying to help mosque administrators and the surrounding community by using information technology such as the al-furqon mosque website, which provides more complete information about the mosque al-furqon to the general public.

Abstract

This Thematic Real Work Lecture activity focuses on community empowerment to improve the quality of life for children at the Aisha Jena Orphanage Foundation in the hope of increasing knowledge and improving the quality of life for children. This Thematic Real Work Lecture activity aims to provide socialization and education about mental health and the impact of bullying. Parents certainly have an important role in building children's development, therefore the target in this Thematic Real Work Lecture activity is the creation of success in fostering reasoning power, a sense of responsibility, empathy, and adding direct learning experiences, and applying them in everyday life in society. The method in this Thematic Real Work Lecture activity is in the form of socialization about understanding reasoning power, a sense of responsibility and providing direct education, because not all children in the orphanage know material about mental health and the impact of bullying in order to prevent bullying cases from increasing.

Abstract

One of the social media most used by teenagers is Instagram. Indonesia is in fourth place as the country with the largest Instagram users in the world. The number of Instagram users in Indonesia reached 89.15 million. Reasons for using Instagram include social interaction, filling free time, and knowing what other people are talking about. There are still many teenagers who don't understand the potential of Instagram as a digital marketing tool for running a business. In fact, teenagers who are the younger generation have a great opportunity to become successful young entrepreneurs by utilizing digital platforms such as Instagram. The ability and skills to use Instagram as a digital marketing medium also enable teenagers to prepare themselves to face the demands of an increasingly digital world of work. This Community Service Partner is Raudhatul Huda Mosque Youth (Rismada) located at Jl. Dr. Ciptomangunkusumo, Gg. H. Ripuh, RT 002 RW 009, North Paninggilan, Ciledug District, Tangerang City 15153. Rismada is a community service program partner which is classified as an economically/socially unproductive partner. The routine activities that Rismada usually carries out are religious activities and social activities. The community service team provided workshops on basic concepts of business strategy, digital marketing and business use of Instagram; (b) providing workshops by practicing the use of Instagram features, especially Instagram business, to carry out digital marketing business strategies. Activities carried out include, for example, creating an Instagram business account (Instagram ads), optimizing the features on Instagram business and creating interesting content; (c) Providing training and assistance to participants during the workshop activities.

Abstract

Social media seems to have become an addiction for Indonesian people, especially teenagers. Today's teenagers are synonymous with smartphones in their hands almost 24 hours a day. The social media most often used by teenagers include Facebook, Twitter, Path, YouTube, Instagram, Line and Whatsapp. Social media has its own advantages and interests for its users. Social media offers many conveniences that make teenagers feel at home using it for a long time. The emergence of various types of social media has had both positive and negative influences. To prevent negative impacts, for example the spread of hoax news and hate speech expressed by haters from becoming more widespread, the government has made a number of revisions to the articles and paragraphs in the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE). With the existence of several deviations or misuse of social media itself, it is felt necessary to provide socialization to teenagers in responding to and using social media intelligently and with morals. Abstract

The orientation of learning and education in the 21st century in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 refers to the realization of 21st century life skills. The 21st Century Skills/Competencies/Skills are: 1).Creativity, namely new ideas, concepts, or products that meet the needs of the world. 2) Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, the ability to design and manage projects, solve problems, and make effective decisions using a variety of tools and resources. 3) Communication. not only for the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and with various digital tools, but also listening skills, and 4) Collaboration. As educators at Dharma Andalas University, one of the Community Service (PKM) lecturer groups consisting of 3 (three) lecturers of the Information Systems study program held Gamification training activities for students of SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Solok City. This training aims to enable students to build game applications that can avoid boredom and foster their focus and interest in teaching materials using the QuickApp Ninja application. The application that is built is expected to produce works in the form of student creativity that supports the learning process so that this PKM activity becomes one of Dharma Andalas University's efforts to help students to improve their performance in tests and academic assignments.

Abstract

Community Service Activities are one of the lecturer's Tridharma activities in the form of applying knowledge to the community to provide alternative solutions to problem solving. Community service carried out at MSMEs in Nagari Simpang Tanjuang Nan Ampek aims to analyze internal and external factors as a business strategy in developing MSME activities. The analysis method uses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). The goal is achieved if MSME actors can understand SWOT in developing MSME activities. The result of the service activities carried out is the implementation of business strategies through SWOT analysis so that MSME actors have strategies for developing MSMEs. The contribution of this service activity contributes to MSMEs having a strategy in developing MSME activities.

Abstract

The importance of developing e-government, it can provide benefits for public services, E-Government development must be carried out in Indonesia and the government must carry out digital acceleration to optimize public services, one of which is the West Nusa Tenggara Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP). IT-based public services through the Simaskot Integrated online community satisfaction survey, which is a web-based application that can be accessed by the public, aims to use technology in services to be able to provide convenience to the public and improve service quality. Data collection techniques begin by carrying out outreach activities and using manual questionnaires which are distributed to service users and online questionnaires which are scanned by barcodes directly by service users. The results of this service indicate that it has been rated very well by service users.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to introduce basic English morphology through the teaching of conjunction materials to students in the private secondary school MTS Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. The importance of basic English morphology for these students prompted the selection of this topic. Teaching is conducted using an interactive approach involving discussions, exercises, and language games to reinforce students' understanding. The activity involves eighth-grade students as the main subjects, with evaluations conducted before and after the intervention to measure their improvement. Results show significant improvement in the correct use of conjunctions in sentences and a better understanding of simple sentence structures. Additionally, students demonstrated enthusiasm and active participation during teaching sessions, indicating increased interest in learning English. In conclusion, teaching conjunction materials with an interactive method proved effective in introducing basic English morphology to students at MTS Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya.
