Abstract

The research is motivated by the fact that there is a lack of use of technology in making teaching materials in schools. Even though there are adequate facilities for the manufacture of teaching materials. This study aims to develop teaching materials using the Canva web for science learning that is valid and practically applicable to the learning process. This type of research is development research (R&D) with the ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data for this study were obtained from validation sheets and response questionnaires and analyzed using quantitative data analysis and expressed qualitatively. The validation sheet consists of material expert validation sheets, language, media and driving teachers. While this response questionnaire consists of teacher and student response questionnaires. The test subjects for this study were 24 people, consisting of 11 male students and 13 female students in grade IVB SDN 10 Bandar Make Padang city. The results of this study obtained teaching materials in the form of valid and practical e-modules. The overall validation results obtained a percentage of 93.25% in the "Very Valid" category. While the overall practicality results obtained a percentage of 94.83% in the "Very Practical" category. Thus the e-module teaching material using the Canva web in science learning in class IV SD is declared valid and practical to use.

Abstract

The dismal academic performance of today's pupils is a driving force behind this study. With the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) Cooperative Learning Model as its basis, this research seeks to enhance the effectiveness of integrated thematic learning. Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, this study was a classroom action research (PTK). Two cycles of planning, carrying out, observing, and reflecting. This research included 13 fourth-graders and their instructors. There was an improvement from the first cycle's 84.71% (excellent) to the second cycle's 94.44% (Very excellent) in most facets of the lesson plans. Teachers' engagement in cycle I was generally favourable at 83.92% (Good), and it improved to a very satisfying 92.85% (Excellent) in cycle II. Students in Cycle I scored an average of 78.58% on the activity component, which improved to an impressive 92.85% in Cycle II. The average learning outcome of students in cycle I, which was 67.40 (Enough), improved to 85.14 (Good) in cycle II. These results suggest that SD Negeri 87 Bengkulu Selatan's fourth graders may benefit from adopting the TPS cooperative learning model. The benefit for students is increasing learning outcomes, while for teachers it is being able to create an active and innovative learning environment, creating students who are independent and able to work together which leads to the achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

This research aims to produce teaching materials that are valid and practical using Canva-based applications in their curriculum learning in elementary schools. The type of research used is development research (R & D) with the ADDIE model: analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The usefulness of teaching materials is validated by validation and practicality testing of teaching materials. The subjects were grade IV students of SDN 09 Manggis Ganting and SDN Campago Guguk Bulek. The data analysis technique used a Likert scale and obtained the results of validation of teaching materials by experts and data tested the practicality of teaching materials through teacher and student response questionnaires. Data Collection Instruments consist of Validation sheets and questionnaires. Validity data was sourced from learning material experts 95%, media experts 94.64%, and linguists 93%. The average validation score is 94.21 (very valid). The practicality test was obtained through questionnaires given to teachers by 93.3% and students by 94.22%. The average practicality test result is 93.76% (very practical). Thus, the results of the study show that teaching materials that have been developed using Canva-based applications are very feasible and practical to use in elementary schools, this study recommends that teachers use innovative teaching materials.
