Abstract

Research of this class action aim to increase result of learning fraction story problem with the model study of polya in class of IV SD Negeri 12 Cupak Kabupatan of solok. This Matter of background by student less in comprehending the intention of the problem that is what known, to be asked and solving the story problem. So that the result of student’s learning in study of fraction is low and not yet reached KKM which have been specified by that is 70. Research of class action conducted by the kolaborasi of researcher and teacher, This research is designed by two cycle. Covering step (1) planning, (2) execution, (3) perception, (4) refleksi. The result of research show that usage of model study of polya can improve the result of learning about the fraction among the student  in the class IV SD. Abstract

The research is motivated by student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IV SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas Kota Bukittinggi is still low. The aim of the study was to improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with the Cooperative Learning Model Talking Stick in Class IV SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas Kota Bukittinggi. The results of the study show that planning, implementation and learning outcomes have increased. The RPP assessment of the first cycle was 74,97% and in the second cycle it increased to 97,22%. The evaluation of the implementation of teacher activities in the first cycle was 78% and increased in the cycle of 97%. For the activities of students in the first cycle 75% increased in the cycle of 95%. %. Assessment of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 75 and increased in the second cycle 87. In conclusion, Cooperative Learning Type Talking Stick can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning learning in class IV SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas Kota Bukittinggi.

Abstract

The aim of this reseach is to improve reading comprehension of student of class  V at elementary school o3 Cingkariang city by using PQ4R. The arise problem of the reseach is the less understanding of student in reading comprehension. The object in this research are 30 students and teacher of elementary school number 03 Cingkariang Banuhampu. The aproach used in research are qualitative and quantitative. There are two cycles. The resuld of each cycles is carried out of this study saw an increase in reading comprehension. Kata Kunci : kemampuan, membaca pemahaman ,strategi PQ4R

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of skills in changing poetry into prose using the Hypnoteaching method in the sixth grade of elementary school. This type of research is PTK using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 35 Parak Karakah, Padang City with a total of 23 students consisting of 12 male students and 11 female students. In Pre-Writing Cycle I obtained an average score of 48.9 (K), increasing in cycle II to obtain an average score of 89 (SB), at the writing stage of the first cycle, the average value of 49 (K) was increased in the second cycle to obtain a score on average 83 (B), in the post-writing phase of cycle I, the average value of 49 (K) increases in cycle II, obtaining an average score of 83 (SB). Keywords: Increased, changing poetry into prose, hypnoteaching method.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the experience experienced by researchers in elementary schools about the implementation of fraction addition learning in class IV SDN 10 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency, where the learning outcomes obtained by students are generally under the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM), which is 70. This is because the number of students who are not active in the learning process. To overcome these problems, inquiry learning strategies are used. The purpose of this study is to describe the plan of implementing learning, implementing learning and increasing fraction addition learning activities with inquiry strategies. This research includes: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. Research data in the form of learning plan data, teacher activity data student activity data, learning activity data and learning achievement tests. The research subjects consisted of teachers and class IV students at totaling 15 students. The results of the study on the assessment of the RPP for the first cycle scored 79% while in the second cycle the assessment of the RPP got a score of 96%. The implementation phase of the teacher aspect in the first cycle scored 79%, increasing in the second cycle to 96%. The implementation phase of the aspects of students in the first cycle scored 66%, increasing in the second cycle to 92%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I got a score of 73, increased in cycle II to 87. It can be concluded that the inquiry strategy can increase fraction learning activities in class IV.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of narrative writing skill by Contextual Approachin the fifth grade of elementary school. Types of using research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approach. The research procedure consistend of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subject was 30 grade. The result of the study showed the average of students result: a) First Cycle in pre-writing 91.1, the writing 63.2, post-writing 62.7, teachers activity 72.7% and students activity  63.6%, b) Second Cycle in pre-writing 94.7, the writing 73.5, post-writing 80.7, teachers activity 95.5% and students activity 95.5%. The conclusions from the result of the research conducted are using the contextual approach could improve the naration writing skills of students in class V SDN 26 Air Tawar Timur Padang City.  Keywords : Narrative Essay, Contextual Approach, Elementary School

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not there is a relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes in natural science learning in class V of Guguk Panjang Barat Elementary School, West Bukittinggi.This type of research is quantitative research with a correlation research design. The sample of this study consisted of 21 fifth grade students of Guguk Panjang Barat Gugus I Elementary School, Bukittinggi City. Based on the analysis of the data that has been done, the results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and student learning outcomes in science learning in class V of the Guguk Panjang Barat Public Elementary School in West Bukittinggi.This is evidenced by the value of r count = 0.5587> rtable = 0.433 at a significance level of 0.05 (5%) which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the hypothesis says "there is a relationship between learning motivation with student learning outcomes in science learning in Class V of Guguk Panjang Barat Gugus I Elementary School, Bukittinggi City "is accepted.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the effect of using the strategy of directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) on the reading comprehension ability of 5th grade students in an elementary school. The type of research used in this study is in the form of   quasi-experimental design. The research design of this study is the non-equivalent posttest-only control group design. The research was conducted at SDN 15 Padang Sarai, Kota Padang. Based on the post-test results, the average value of reading comprehension ability of the control class is 71,18. The control class was treated with a conventional learning method. Through the implementation of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy, the average value of reading comprehension ability in the experimental class is 80,30. Based on the hypothesis test and by using the t- test with significant level   it was obtained that the =  and   and with the    the H1 is therefore, accepted and  H0 is rejected.. thus, it is concluded that the directed reading thinking activity (DRTA) strategy significantly affects the reading comprehension ability the 5th grade students  Keyword: Strategy DRTA, Reading comprehension Ability

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning social science knowledge (IPS) using role playing method in the fifth grade in SDN 52/III Koto Dian, Kerinci regency. This study is a classroom action research (PTK) which is uses qualitative and quantitative approach which includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of the fifth grade of 22 people. The observation results of RPP cycle I 85, 6%, cycle II 96, 6%. The teacher activity cycle I 81.3%, cycle II 96, 6%. The student activity cycle I 79, 7%, cycle II 93,8%. Average learning outcomes of student cycle one (I) is 71, 4, and student cycle two (II) is 82, 5. Thus, this study can be concluded that learning social sciendce knowledge (IPS) role playing method can improve student learning outcomes in the fifth grade in SDN 52/III Koto Dian, Kerinci regency. Keywords: learning social science knowledge (IPS), role playing method

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the facts indicating that the integrated thematic     learning was not run as it was expected. The teacher seemed to ignore the involvement of the learners in making correlation between the laerning materials and their real life. The purpose of   this research  was  to  describe the application  of PBL model  in integrated thematic learning process. The technique used is observation. This research is a class action. This research was conducted at SDN 15 Ulu Gadut Kota Padang. The subject of the research was the teacher and the learners of class V totaling 28 people . The result of the research revealed that the quality of integrated thematic learning increased. The first cycle of meetings one aspect of RPP 84.38%, teacher aspects 78,57%, and students 78,57%, meeting 2 aspects of observation RPP 90,63%, teacher aspects 89,28%, and aspects of learners 89,28%. Cycle 2 observes RPP 96,87%, teacher aspects 96,42%, and learners aspects 96,42%. This proves that the PBL model can improve the learning process of student.
