INCREASING THE RESULTS OF LEARNING WITH BY USING CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING APPROACH IN CLASS V SDOlehRirin Yunitayunitaririn52@gmail.com                                    Abstract: This research was conducted by the science learning still centered by the teacher, they used old way and didn’t crate the student’s creativity. This research was purpose to increase student’s mark in science learning used contextual teaching and learning approach. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was a classroom action research. The subject of this research were teacher and students fifth grade. The result of this research showed improved the student’s mark in the first circle rate 74, improved in second circle rate 82,70.

Abstract

This study aims to describe an increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning with a problem based learning model in grade IV of Indarung Elementary School. The sample in this study were all students of grade IV of SD Negeri 20 Indarung as many as 20 students. The results of the study on teacher activities from cycle I were 85%, increasing to 95% in cycle II. The increase in student activity from the first cycle is 87.5%, increasing to 95% by the second cycle. While the learning outcomes aspects of students' attitudes in the first cycle of the value of 3.00 increased to 3.66 in the second cycle, the knowledge aspect in the first cycle which achieved a value of 2.33 increased to 3.66 in the second cycle and the skill aspects in the first cycle that achieved value 3.00 increased to 3.66 in the second cycle, so the results of the study said there was an increase in better learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using a problem based learning model in grade IV of SD 20 Indarung.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes by using cooperative learning model of type picture and picture toward the fifth grade students in the SDN 04 Matua. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Those are research of a class act which was carried out by two cycles, and each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes on the material of addition and subtraction of two fractions with different denominators in grade V SD. This type of research is an experimental research in the form of a Quasi-Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The data analysis technique in this study used the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis from hypothesis testing using t-test, it was obtained tcount = 2.9, while ttable was at a significant level of 0.05 and was 1.677, then it was obtained tcount> ttable, namely 2.9> 1.677 so that Ha was accepted or Ho was rejected. Thus, there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes of addition and subtraction of two fractions with different denominators in grade V elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in the material estimation results of numerical operations in class IV Elementary School. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were class IV students of SDN 27 Anak Air. With the simple random sampling technique, the IVC class was obtained as the experimental class and IVB as the control class. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test, obtained tcount = 2.423 and ttable = 1.669 at a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 62. It means tcount> ttable so that Ha is accepted. Therefore, there is a positive and significant effect on the Problem Based Learning learning model on learning outcomes in the material estimation results of numerical operations in class IV Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena banyaknya siswa berperilaku agresif, seperti berkelahi, memukul, menendang, menyerang, mengejek orang lain, mengganggu teman belajar, melawan perkataan guru, dan melanggar tata tertib sekolah. Agresivitas merupakan perilaku negatif yang diduga salah satu faktor penyebabnya ialah keharmonisan keluarga yang rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan keharmonisan keluarga siswa, (2) mendeskripsikan agresivitas siswa, dan (3) menguji hubungan keharmonisan keluarga dengan agresivitas siswa.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis deskriptif korelasional dengan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X dan XI SMK N 1 Lubuk Sikaping yang terdaftar pada tahun 2018/2019 yang berjumlah 798. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 263 siswa dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Proportional Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket keharmonisan keluarga dan angket  agresivitas siswa. Data dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan program SPSS For Windows 20.0.Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa (1) keharmonisan keluarga siswa berada pada kategori sedang (2) agresivitas siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat hubungan signifikan negatif antara keharmonisan keluarga siswa dengan agresivitas siswa dengan koefisien korelasi -0,536 yang berada pada taraf signifikansi 0,000.Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, disarankan kepada guru BK atau Konselor sekolah untuk dapat memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling, layanan informasi, layanan konseling perorangan, layanan konseling kelompok kepada siswa, agar dapat membantu dan meminimalisir siswa terjerumus dalam perlu agresivitas. Selanjutnya memberikan layanan informasi dan konseling keluarga untuk membantu meningkatkan kualitas keharmonisan keluarga siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out what the effect of using the tournament type active learning strategy on learning outcomes of the volume building in the fifth grade elementary school. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental research design with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was all students of the fifth grade elementary school cluster IV, East Padang District, West Sumatera. The technique of collected data was simple random sampling, so elementary school 20 Air Camar was selected as the experiment class and elementary school 17 Parak Karakah as the control class. The instrument of the research was an essay test. The data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis from hypothesis testing using t-test obtained tcount = 3.60 while ttable at a significant level of 0.05 and dk = 40 is 2.021, so H1 was accepted because tcount > ttable. Thus, there is a significant effect on the type of tournament active learning strategy on learning outcomes of the volume building in the fifth grade elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning model type Make a Match on the results of learning Pkn five grade students SD Negeri Gugus IV Kecamatan Baso City. This research is a type of experimental research in the form of Quasi Experimental Type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique using total sampling technique with the sample number 46 students consisting of 22 students of class V SD Negeri 13 Sungai Sariak and 24 students of class V SD Negeri 12 Koto Tinggi. The instrument used is a test. The results showed that there is influence in the use of cooperative learning model type Make a Match to the results of learning Civics students grade V SDN 13  Sungai Sariak  Gugus IV Kecamatan Baso. This is evidenced from the results of t-test with significance level of 5% obtained tcount (2,18494> 1,8638)5. The result of Civic learning obtained by the experimental group is higher than the control group, it is shown from mean 79,5 and the mean obtained by the control group is 71,6.  Key words: Civic education learning, Cooperative Learning, Make a Match

Abstract

Abstract This research was undertaken as an attempt to assess the effect of cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) on the fourth grade students learning outcomes in Civic Education at SD negeri 31 Pasir Kandang Padang. This research adopted a quasi-experimental research design with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Contol Group Design. This research was done at SDN 31 Pasir Kandang Padang. The fourth grade students in class A was a control class consisted of 27 students while the fourth grade students in class B was an experimental class consisted of 28 students. The data were analyzed by using t-test. The result of the research revealed that the average score of the experimental group (72,75) which applied the cooperative learning model students teams achievement division (STAD) compared to the control class (62,48) showed better achievement. Based on the caculation of t-test, t-count (2,530) scored higher than t-table (2,006) for alpha 0,05. The results obtained from the data showed that there is more positive effect of cooperative learning model of STAD toward the fifth grade students learning outcomes in Civic Education at SDN 31 Pasir Kandang Padang. Keywords: STAD, Learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract             This research aimed to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on mathematical critical thinking skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 02 Aur Kuning, Bukittinggi City on simple statistical material. This research was quantitative research with the experimental method. This Quasi Experiment research used Non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research was Elementary Schools in group II in Aur Birugo Tigo Baleh and the sample technique used was cluster random sampling. The data collection technique used was test in essay form and non-test using an observation sheet. The data were analyzed using t-test to see the effect of two average values after the normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that the average of post-test in experiment class was 80.4 and 78.27 in control class. Analysis of t-test both in experiment and control classes was obtained tcount = 2.8 and ttable = 1.701 at a significant level of 0.05. Hence tcount> ttable then Ha was accepted. Thus it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model had a positive effect on the mathematical critical thinking skills of the fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 02 Aur Kuning, Bukittinggi in simple statistical material.
