Thisy type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research was conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research data in the form of observations and actions and test results. The data source is the process and results of the implementation of student learning on fraction addition material using the Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR) approach. The research subjects were 26 teacher and grade IV students consisting of 19 men and 7 women. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in aspects of knowledge of the first cycle that is 81,% increased to 87.31% or increased about 6.16%. In the aspect of skills in Cycle I, namely 82.08% increased to 85.09% or an increase of about 3.01%. RPP observations results in the first cycle that is 83.92% increased to 92.85%. The observation of aspects of teachers and students in the first cycle that is 80% increased to 90%. It can be concluded that, the PMR approach can improve student learning outcomes in the fraction summation material using the Realistic Mathematics Education approach (PMR) in Class IV SDN 11 Guguak VIII Koto District Fifty Cities.

Abstract

Abstract This research was done due to the fact that teachers dominated the learning process and still used the conventional approach in the learning process. This research aimed at describing the improvement of students’ trapezoids and kites learning outcomes by using the team assited individualization model. The design of the research was class action research using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of the research were the teacher and twenty three fifth grade student of SDN 15 Koto Merapak that consisted of 11 boys and 12 girls. The result of the lesson plan analysis in cycle I was 76,56% and in cycle II was 90,62 %. Students’ learning outcome in cycle I was 73,47% and it increased in cycle II to 82,32 % Thus, the team assisted individualization model successfully improved students’ trapezoids and kites leaning outcomes Keywords: Trapezoids and Kites learning Outcomes, the Team Assisted Individualization Model

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the influence of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education approach (PMRI) towards the understanding of the concept of data presentation learners in class V elementary school Gugus 1 West Padang, Padang city on 2018/2019 school year. The research is a Quasi Ekspermental Design. The data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on the results obtained by the average value postest understanding of the concept of presenting data by using PMRI approach in the experiment group is 90.37 and control group using conventional learning is 75, 67. This means the experimental group was higher than the control group. From the result of calculation of t t-test obtained Tcount 3.0561 while the T-table with a significant status of 0.05 and df = 32 is 1.69389. Means Tcount > Ttable so that Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant influence of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education approach for understanding of the concept of presenting data in class V elementary school. Keywords: Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach, Concept Training

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect on learning outcomes of student citizenship education using Problem Based Learning models. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with non equivalent control group design. The sample in this study is Class V A and V B SDN 15 Ampang Gadang. Data collection techniques use tests. Hypothesis testing in this study uses the t-test formula. Based on the calculation of the t test (t-test) on the results of pretest tcount = -0.02238 and t table = 1.68 with a significant level of α = 0.05 of 1.68, then the tcount <ttabe posttest obtained the results of tcount = 2,745 and ttable = 1 , 68 at the significant level α = 0.05 at 1.68, then t count> t table. This means that there is a significant influence on student learning outcomes of Civics by using Problem Based Learning models.  Keyword : The Problem Based Learning Model, PKn, learning outcomes models

Abstract

Self-adjustment is a natural and dynamic process that aims to change individual behavior so that relationships are more in line with their environmental conditions. In reality adjusting to menopause is very much difficult to live through, so many women have problems in undergoing menopause. This study aims to explain the emotional maturity of menopausal women, explain the relationship between menopausal women and family, and social maturity. this type of research is a case study study. The subjects in this study were 2 menopausal women in Kenagarian Muara Sakai, Pancung Soal District, South Coastal District. The instrument used in this study is the interview guide. To describe the adjustment of menopausal women, researchers used data analysis (1) data reduction (data reduction); (2) data exposure (data display); (3) drawing conclusions and verification (conclusion drawing / verifying). The data analysis technique used in this study is thematic analysis by conducting interview transcripts that have been verbatim. The results revealed that emotional maturity, relationships with families and social maturity of subjects 1 and 2 were different. Of the three aspects studied on the subject, different results can be seen from how the subjects undergo and adjust themselves at menopause. Subject 1 cannot fulfill all three aspects at menopause, while subject 2 can fulfill all three aspects while undergoing menopause.
