Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in learning about square and rectangular stories. The aim of the study was to describe the implementation of learning and the increase in learning outcomes around square and rectangular stories. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results of the study show that the Learning Implementation Plan of the first cycle obtained a value of 90% (B) and increased to 100% (SB) cycle II. The learning aspect of the teacher in the first cycle obtained an 80% (C) value increased to 95% (B) cycle II. While the implementation stage of the aspects of students in the first cycle scored 78% (C) increased to 90% (B) cycle II. Learning outcomes of students in the first cycle obtained an average score of 70, increasing to 85 cycles II.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the less optimal integrated thematic learning that results in students not understanding the material so that it impacts on learning outcomes. This study aims to describe the Improvement of Integrated Thematic Learning Outcomes Using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Model in Class IV Students at SDN 10 Luhak Nan Duo, West Pasaman Regency. This type of research is PTK with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Research data in the form of observations and tests. The study was conducted in two cycles. Research subjects are teachers and grade IV students. The results of the study in terms of RPP cycle I 87.5%, cycle II 92%. Teacher activity in cycle I 85.5% (B), cycle II 92.85% category (SB). Cycle I student activities 87.5% (B), Cycle II 92.85% category (SB) Aspects of Cycle I attitude students reflect the main values of mutual cooperation character and do not reflect the main values of religious character, integrity and independence, Cycle II students already reflect the main values of religious characters , mutual cooperation, integrity and independence. It can be concluded in the study that integrated thematic learning using the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model can improve student learning outcomes in primary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know correlations between problem-solving ability with mathematics learning result for 4th grade students at public elementary school 27 in Padang city for the 2017/2018 academic year. The type of this research is correlations. The population of the research is all 4th grade students of SD N 27 Sungai Sapih was 42 students, then 21 students as sample. The data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. the research result shows that correlation coefficient of 0,7036. in interval 0,70 ≤ r > 0,90 with a degree of strong or high corrrelations. It means 0,7036 have a strong or high  correlations. Then the result of significant correlation coefficient with α = 0,05 showed  and . Because . Abstract

This resarch aims to determine the effect of the Student Team Acheivement Division model on the learning outcomes of data presentation in 4th grade of Elementary School. This type of research used quasy eksperiment design. The design used was The Nonequivalent Pretest-postest Control Group Design. The sampling technique used Cluster Random Sampling, which targeted population consisted of several elementary school in Gugus 1 of Lubuk Begalung sub-district. The amount samples of this study are 56 students in 4th grade class of 30 Cengkeh Public Elementary School in Padang City. The instruments used in this research were test based. Data analysis technique used in this research are test-t. This is proven from the acquisition of  thitung = 6,75 > ttabel 2,000 with a real level of  0,05 with dk = 54, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be concluded that the Student Team Acheivement Divison model has a positive effect on learning outcomes in the data presentation of students 4th grade elementary school.

Abstract

Based on the personal experience from the writer’s herself at the Elementary School 02 VII Koto Talago, as the fifth grade teacher in teaching hand skill as a subject of instruction has not been performed as how it must, resulting in lack of motivation and creativity from the students in the process of educating the hand skill subject. Eventually, this situation is prone to the students’ grade resulting in below the Minimum Achievement Criteria. Therefore, the writer was interested to improve the process of educating Makrame in Hand Skill as the subject of instruction by making a classroom action research using demonstration method for fifth grade class at the elementary school (SD) 02 VII Koto Talago, in Guguak Precinct, The District of Lima Puluh Kota. The research taken was the Class Action Research formed in two major parts of cycle, where each of the cycle consists of activities i.e. planning, implementing, observing and reflection. The writer chose to use quantitative and qualitative approach. Data were collected by using observation sheet and forms of process and result’s evaluation. Abstract

This research began with many students who have not been able to complete project tasks to the maximum, students have not been taught in practical activities so that students lack the skills and understanding while learning the project being tested. The Project Based Learning Model is a teaching and learning model that emphasizes student-centered learning on a project that allows students to work independently to achieve their own learning and then reach a peak in results in the form of written works, drawings etc. This research is a literature study that aims to find a picture of the Project Based Learning model in integrated thematic learning in class V of primary schools. In this study, researchers used a literature study, first the researchers formulated the research problem, then proceeded to explore existing research relevant to analysis. Data collection techniques using non-test is by searching electronic journals through Google Sholer. From the research results 15 relevant articles show that the Project Based Learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Based on the preliminary research and observation to the fifth grade students at SDN 07 Kauman in Pasaman Regency, it shown  the students’ outcomes was low caused most of the teachers still used conventional method in learning. So, that’s way the author would like to improve their outcomes in learning Science through Student Team Achivement Division (STAD) method. The purpose of this study was to describe the students’ improvement in learning Science through STAD. This research was Classroom Action Research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research has been done in two cycles completed by the planning, action, reflection, and students’ outcomes. Based on the research, it concluded that the student’s learning outcome has improved, it sho wn from the result of the teacher’s and students’ activities, as described: in designing lesson plann was 71% (cycle I), increased to 85% (cycle II); the teacher’s activities was 71% (cycle I), increased to 89% (cycle II); the students’ activities was 69.5% (cycle I), increased to 89% (cycle II); while the students’ learning outcomes was 60,56 (cycle I), increased to 85% (cycle II). Kata Kunci: hasil belajar; pendidikan kewarganegaraan (pkn); student team achievement division (stad)

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know differences about student’s achievement in addition and subtraction of two fractions with different denominators by using cooperative model with STAD and TAI types. The design of the research is quasi experiment in the from pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. The sample of the research is class VA  andclass VB at Elementary School 38 Lubuk Sao that have chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The result of research found that there is differences about student’s achievement in learning mathematic by using cooperative model STAD type and cooperative model TAI type tcount (1,80664)>ttable (1,69726). This means that students’ achievement by using cooperative model STAD type better than students’ achievement by using cooperatuve model TAI type in learning mathematics. Keywords: cooperative model STAD type, cooperative model TAI type, addition and substraction of two fractions with different denominators.Daryanto. 2012.
