Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation and improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Cooperative type Think Pair Share (TPS) model in grade IV of SDN 24 Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.. This type of research is classroom action research and uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted on class IV SDN 24 Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.totaling 10 people consisting of 4 male students and 6 female students. In term of lesson plans, the score increased from 81,8% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. In term of teacher’s aspect, the score enhanced from 77,5% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. Meanwhile, in term of the student’s aspect, the score increased from 77,5% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. The student’s learning outcomes reached a percentage of completeness 60% with an average value of 79 increased in the second cycle percentage of completeness 90% with an average achievement of 90,3.

Abstract

IPS Learning is subject aims to make the student can think critically, rationally, and creatively in response to emerging issues in their daily lives. But in previous learning makes learners difficulties in memorizing concepts that IPS Learners can not achieve the expected pembelajarn IPS. The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, execution, and learning outcomes using STM approach. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results obtained with the use of the STM approach the average yield of the learning plan in the first cycle was 77 rose to 100 on sikus II, from the implementation aspects of the teacher’s 82 to 100, aspects of learners 83 to 98, then the average of the results of learners in the first cycle is 75 increased in the second cycle to 93 on sikus II. From the results of these studies shows that the study of students increased in all observable aspects.Kata Kunci; IPS; Pendekatan STM; Hasil Belajar

Abstract

         The objective of this study is to describe the improvement of reading comprehension skill of the 4th-grade students of Elementary School No.08 Padang Besi,Padang with the use of OK5R method. This study is classroom action research that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The result showed that students’ reading comprehension ability increased from 70,5 (Fair) with 70,5% level of mastery in cycle I, to 86,3 (Very good) with 86% level of mastery in cycle II. The percentage of improvement from cycle I to cycle II is 16%. Based on these results, it is concluded that OK5R methodsignificantly improves the reading comprehension ability of the 4th-grade students of Elementary School No.08 Padang Besi, Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher's inability to implement integrated thematic learning, especially in stimulating students to think critically in solving problems. This study aims to describe how to improve integrated thematic learning with Problem Based Learning models in class IV SDN 08 Campago Ipuh. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). Conducted in two cycles, with 3 meetings. The research flow includes planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instruments used are observation sheets and test sheets. Research subjects were teachers and fourth grade students of SDN 08 Campago Ipuh Bukittinggi, totaling 26 students. The results showed an increase in: a) RPP in the first cycle on average 77.5% (B), cycle II 94.4% (SB), b) Implementation in the aspect of teachers in the first cycle on average 69.8% (B ), cycle II 92.8% (SB), while in the aspect of students in the first cycle on average 75% (B), cycle II 92.8% (SB). Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in primary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvemen of sudent learning outcomes on learning IPS by using model prolem based learning in the classroom IV SD Negeri 09 Talang Babungo on the student class IV who number 22 students. This research uses qualitative and quantitative  approach. The type of research in clssroom action research student learning outcomes cycle 1 83,7 increase to 86,6 in cycle 2. Thus, the prolem based learning model can improve sudent learning outcomes in IPS learning in grade IV SD Negeri 09 Talang Babungo Keywords: ips, Problem Based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' ability to understand concepts in the data presentation material in Grade IV Elementary School using the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. The type of research used is classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The results of this study indicate that first, there is an increase in the implementation of the learning process using the PMRI approach from the aspects of teachers and students. The implementation of the learning process using the PMRI approach from the aspect of the teacher has increased from 72.5% to 90% this indicates an increase from the first cycle of 17.5%. From the aspect of students the implementation of the learning process using the PMRI approach has increased from 72.5% to 85% this indicates an increase of 12.5%. The increase was also seen from the results of the concept understanding tests of students using the PMRI approach, namely in the first cycle the average students gained was 71.67 with sufficient qualifications and increased in cycle 2 to 86.25 with excellent qualifications. Therefore, it can be concluded that the PMRI approach can improve the ability to understand the concept of presenting data of students in class IVA SDN 01 Bandar Untuk Kota Padang.

Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research used qualitative and quantitative approaches. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Subjects in this research are the teacher and students. The result of the research shows: a) Planning in cycle I meeting I with percentage 67,86 %, meeting II with percentage 82, 14 % and cycle II with percentage 96,43 %. b) Implementation in cycle I meeting I from teacher is 69,11 %, meeting II is 79,41 % and cycle II is 82,35 %. Implementation from students in cycle I meeting I is 61,76 %, meeting II is 75 % and cycle II is 89,71 %. c) The result of learning assessment in cycle I meeting I is 68,26%, meeting II is 70,71 % and cycle II is 85,32 %. In conclusion, Problem Based Learning (PBL) method can increase students’ outcomes; both score and interest in learning IPS at SD Negeri 11 Bukit Apit Puhun Kota Bukittinggi grade IV.   Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, pembelajaran IPS, problem based learning (PBL)

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the increase of students learning outcome on thematic integrated learning using Discovery Learning. This research was classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The participants of this research SDN 21 Bandar Buat. The results showed: 1. Lesson plan assessment in cycle I was 78.12% then increased to 100% in cycle II. Observation on teacher aspect in cycle I was 84,37% and went up to 100% in cycle II while on aspect of students in cycle I was 84,37% the increased to 100% in cycle II. Affective aspect of students, the were 3 student who showed caring, honestly in cycle I. It increased to 5 students in cycle II. Cognitive aspect, in cycle I was 77.14 then went up to 85.77 in cycle II. It can be concluded that the discovery learningoutcomes on thematic integrated learning.

Abstract

Abstract This research was intended to describe the improvement of the students’ learning achievement in Social Science by using NHT model in grade IV of SDN 17 Sungai Limau. This was a Classroom Action Research which applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research was 20 student in grade IV. The result of the research revealed that from cycle I to cycle II, the quality ofthe Lesson Plan Increaased from 69,64% to 85,71%, the teacher’s aspect increased from 79,1% to 88,88%, and the student’s aspect increased from 77,7% to 91,6%. Thus, the use of Numbered Head Together (NHT) approach could increase the students’ learning Achievement in grade IV of SDN 17Sungai Limau.   Key Term : Learning Achievement, NHT Model

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcomes in learning natural science by using inquiry learning strategy in the fourth grade. This was a classroom action research which applied qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subject of the research was teacher and 15 students. The students’ average score improve from 68,26 (adequate) in the first cycle into 76,49 (adequate) in the second cycle. It means the inquiry learning strategy successfully improves the students’ outcomes in learning natural science in the fourth grade of Elemantary School.Keywords : inquiry learning strategy
