Abstract

Fortifying salt with iodine is one of the government's strategies to achieve food and nutritional security. Iodine deficiency can hinder mental and intelligence development, affecting the quality of Human Resources. Pati Regency can contribute to strengthening food fortification with the potential of its salt-consumption SMEs. However, the test results stated that 40.70% of the salt consumption of SMEs in Pati needed to meet standards. Abstract

The entrepreneurial process of young exporters in the coffee industry in Indonesia lacks investigation. This study examines how a young company in the coffee industry is able to enter international markets early and rapidly since its inception called a born global company. Effectuation theory was employed to understand how entrepreneurs in the coffee industry made decisions and behaved in pursuing international opportunities. Data was collected through an exploratory case study of a born global firm in the coffee industry in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia by doing a semi-structured interview with the CEO of a co-operative. The study's findings revealed that a born global company applied the effectuation logic both in the new venture creation and in the early stage of the internationalisation process. According to the effectuation theory, the entrepreneur's network of domestic partners and prior experience allowed the business to quickly join the international market. The results showed that serendipity discovery was a key factor that enabled early internationalisation to occur. Moreover, serendipity discovery played a role as a base of a cognitive source of opportunity discovery and entrepreneurial acquisition of knowledge of international opportunities.

The traffic on this road is quite heavy with a diverse composition (Mixed Traffic). An analysis using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) was conducted based on field survey data, including measurements of the extent, types, and quantities of surface damage per 200 meters along each road segment. The types of damage observed on the Muliama-Wame-Makki road section include patching, longitudinal cracks, alligator cracking, and pavement subsidence, with a total damage percentage of 1.684%. The maintenance strategy is determined based on the PCI calculation and Bina Marga method, suggesting that routine maintenance is sufficient for addressing the observed issues.

Abstract

As is known in Corporate Law, corporate law experts divide 2 (two) major groups of business entity forms, one of which is a legal entity. Included in this group is the Limited Liability Company (PT) The thing that distinguishes between the two types of business entities incorporated and unincorporated lies in the responsibility of the company owner. In relation to practice, business people are more interested in establishing a business entity in the form of a legal entity, namely a Limited Liability Company ("PT"). The reasons why business people are more likely to choose a PT, namely the continuity of a business entity in the form of a PT does not depend on the personalities of the owners but on the capital accumulated, the separation of responsibilities between the company owner and the company, and because PT can be used as a means to move towards a more liberal and open business. In carrying out the management of a PT, the Board of Directors performs its duties with reference to the principle of good faith. In this case, it is actually difficult to distinguish which actions are actually carried out in good faith and which actions are reasonable in carrying out their duties. In relation to its duties and authorities, the management of the Company carried out by the Board of Directors includes running business activities, controlling, and making business decisions that have an impact on the Company, even though these decisions can cause profits or losses.
