Abstract

Abstract

The development of science and science at this time is felt to be expanding rapidly including facilities, educational facilities and media, both electronic and non-electronic media, which are the source of learning. However, from the other side, the misuse of educational media as a learning resource has not been said to be optimally utilized to support the achievement of learning objectives in teaching and learning activities, it is necessary to consider the use of these learning media. Indeed, it cannot be denied that their use and use as a source of learning in teaching and learning activities still have many obstacles, the scarcity of education personnel who truly understand the meaning and benefits of learning resources for teaching and learning purposes is one of the factors. On the one hand, there are those who say that these learning resources are expensive, difficult to obtain and use. If it is studied and observed together that learning is everywhere around our environment. Now every subject requires media as a source of learning for students in the teaching and learning process, one of which is learning media in the learning process of Hindu religious subjects. Abstract

Learning in schools are part of efforts to improve the education of human tolerance from an early age. Such as Vocational High School or SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan), one of them is Vocational High School 1 Denpasar which placed in the center city of Denpasar, in which the students are not only Hindus, but there are Christianity, Moslem, etc. Therefore, tolerance and respect between each other are needed to support the tolerance between religions; then, the role of the teacher is very important in this case because the teacher can build up the character of students in order to have a tolerant character in the school and in the social community later on . The role of Hindus teachers in developing the tolerance character of student, namely through intracurricular activities and extracurricular activities. Both of these activities have a main contribution in the development of the tolerance character of students. The obstacles faced by Hindus teachers in developing the tolerance character of the students are caused by two factors: the first, the internal factor or innate factors, students interest, and emotional that are natural and innate from within students. The second is the external factors (family, school, community, and mass media) based on the outside of students. Thus, the students must be able to sort themselves out and be balanced by the attention of parents and schools so that these obstacles not interfere with the development of the student's character. The efforts made by Hindus teachers to solve these obstacles in developing the tolerance character of studets at SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar are carried out by applying the 3 S Attitude (Senyum, Salam dan Sapa), the habbit of some activities in the classroom, developing the learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter berbasis budaya dalam menghadapi tantangan modernitas. Berbicara tentang pendidikan karakter sebetulnya bukanlah hal baru dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia, sejak lama pendidikan karakter ini telah menjadi bagian penting dalam misi kependidikan nasional walaupun dengan penekanan dan istilah yang berbeda. Saat ini, wacana urgensi pendidikan karakter kembali menguat dan menjadi bahan perhatian sebagai respons atas berbagai persoalan bangsa terutama masalah dekadensi moral seperti korupsi, kekerasan, perkelahian antar pelajar, bentrok antar etnis dan perilaku seks bebas yang cenderung meningkat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model in improving student learning outcomes in Hindu religion class VII in SMP Negeri 1 Melaya 2019/2020. This research is a classroom action research with cycle formation research procedures. Each cycle consists of four screens: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. Data collection technique through observation and test. This data collection uses an instrument consisting of observation sheets of observations of students and teachers in the learning process, while to study the quality of student learning outcomes used an evaluation / test sheet. The results of the data analysis showed an increase in the average Hindu learning outcomes through the application of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative model from the pre-cycle rack reaching a score of 62.9 in the first cycle reaching a score of 71.5 or up 8.6 points from the pre-cycle achieving a score of 62.9 in the second cycle achieving a score of 92 or Magnifying 29.1 points, and from the first cycle reaching a score of 71.5 cycles II achieving a score of 92 or an increase of 20.5 points or an increase in the score of Hindu religious learning outcomes, respectively by 8.6 points, 29.1 points, and 20.5 points.

Abstract

Education has a plan for the development of a person's personality. Along with the development of increasingly modern times and increasingly sophisticated technology, of course, will affect a person's behavior. In today's era, many are more busy with cellphones than directly communicating with the people around them. Of course, from a psychological aspect, it will unconsciously affect relationships with other people. Because in relationships or communicating, the value of taste is very important.The success of character education in schools is the success of students in building their personal character, as well as the success of teachers in building students' character. Character education will not run well if it ignores one institution, especially the family. It is because the family is an environment for the growth and development of children from early age until they become adults. Through education in the family, character of the children will be build.Communication between the school (the school principal) and parents / guardians is one realization of school accountability. Even though the teachers in the school already have the opportunity to interact and influence the lives of students, will eventually return to the lap of his parents. Some examples of communication between teachers and parents of students are: making use of teacher meetings with students' parents, utilizing technological advancements, providing school Web sites, forming school committees.

Abstract

The younger generation is the successor of the nation who has an interest in determining the future and integrity of the Indonesian nation. Therefore, the importance of fostering leadership education for the younger generation must be instilled early on given the increasingly widespread immoral cases that occur in society. In connection with the alignment of the basic values of character education with the values contained in Hinduism, character formation can be echoed based on the concept of Nītiśāstra leadership in Hinduism. The value of character education that can be realized is religion, social care, responsibility, peace of mind, hard work, democracy, and discipline.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan Sekolah ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan Meningkatkan kualitas penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan: Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil Belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu siswa pada materi yadnya setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran Problem Bassed Learning berbantuan “Ramayana” (Rangkaian Analisis Materi Yadnya). pada Siswa Kelas X IPS 1 Semester Genap di SMA Negeri 1 Susut Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 Penelitian ini dirancang dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang direncanakan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus,dimana setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan dalam dua sampai tiga kali pertemuan. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPS 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Jumlah siswa yang menjadi subyek adalah 22 orang siswa. Subyek ini dipilih karena berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan terlihat kualitas hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu pada siswa kelas X IPS 1 masih rendah. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar pendidikan agama Hindu khususnya pada materi yadnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan terhadap hasil penelitian yang telah dibahas dalam bab IV, diperoleh data hasil belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu siswa kelas X IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Susut semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 pada materi yadnya mengalami peningkatan di tiap siklus. Yakni dari prasiklus ke siklus I, dari prasiklus ke siklus II, dan dari siklus I ke siklus II, dengan peningkatan skor hasil belajar, secara berurut sebesar 7.50 poin, 17.88 poin, dan 10.38 poin. Sementara itu ketuntasan klasikal juga mengalami peningkatan. Dari 55 % pada prasiklus menjadi 86 % pada siklus I dan meningkat lagi menjadi 100% pada siklus II. Dengan tercapainya hasil belajar yang meningkat, maka model ini cocok diterapkan oleh siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehari-hari. Maka dapat disimpulakan penerapan model Pembelajaran Problem Basssed Learning berbantuan “Ramayana” dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pendidikan Agama hindu siswa kelas X IPS 1 smester ganjil tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

Guru Agama Hindu (GAH) di SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar belum memiliki karakteristik multikultural yang memadai, sehingga belum mampu mengintegrasikan pendidikan multikultural ke dalam standar isi pendidikan Agama Hindu secara optimal. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa tipe, peran, dan upaya rekonstruksi karakteristik GAH dalam pengintegrasian pendidikan multikultural ke dalam standar isi pendidikan Agama Hindu. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi non-partisipan, wawancara tidak berstruktur, dan studi dokumen, kemudian dianalisa dengan teknik etnografi model spradley. Pengumpulan dan analisa data mengacu pada teori tindakan sosial Max Weber, pilihan rasional James S. Colemen, dan pendidikan multikultural James S. Banks. Ada tiga temuan penelitian. Pertama, tindakan rasional instrumental adalah tipe karakteristik GAH. Terbentuknya peserta didik yang menyadari dan menghargai keragaman sosial, dengan memanfaatkan keragaman sosial, budaya dan praktek keberagamaan dalam masyarakat Hindu secara internal sebagai strategi (alat) mencapai tujuan, merupakan pertimbangan rasional instrumental GAH. Kedua, karakteristik GAH berperan menentukan keputusan terhadap pilihan menerima atau menolak pengintegrasian pendidikan multikultural ke dalam standar isi pendidikan Agama Hindu di SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar. Disebut pilihan rasional karena didasarkan pada tujuan, alasan, preferensi, serta upaya optimalisasi keuntungan dan minimalisasi kerugian. GAH adalah aktor sosial yang berupaya mengoptimalkan sumber daya untuk kepentingan sosialnya. Ketiga, karakteristik GAH sangat potensial direkonstruksi melalui upaya pemberdayaan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan terhadap (a) pengintegrasian konten pendidikan multikultural melalui pengembangan dokumen kurikulum (silabus dan RPP) dan materi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu, (b) konstruksi pengetahuan, (c) pengurangan prasangka, (d) penciptaan equity pedagogy, dan (e) pemberdayaan kultur sekolah. Simpulannya, GAH di SMA Negeri di Kota Denpasar berkarakteristik tindakan rasional instrumental, yang berperan menentukan keputusan memilih atau menolak pengintegrasian pendidikan multikultural ke dalam standar isi pendidikan Agama Hindu, dan dapat direkonstruksi melalui upaya pemberdayaan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan terhadap lima dimensi pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

The world is experiencing a tough period since the beginning of 2020 because of the shock of the Corona Virus Disease or Covid-19 phenomenon. Various countries including Indonesia are still struggling to overcome this virus, because the impact is not only on the health sector but also on various other (multidimensional) sectors. Mental health problems that occur during a pandemic can be caused by various things, such as fear of the plague, feeling of isolation during quarantine, sadness and loneliness due to being away from family,stress and confusion due to information. To deal with the symptoms that appear in mental health that emerged during the Covid-19 pandemic, special efforts are needed to be made both individually, in families and in groups. This special effort can be made with pranayama practice. Bhramari pranayama practice (humming bee breath) is a breathing technique in Yoga teachings. This technique is indeed recommended for calming a confused mind or feeling anxious. The purpose of this paper is to describe how to practice bhramari pranayama (humming bee breath) in an effort to release stress during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is literature study and various other literature to support the reference of this journal. Bhramari pranayama or what is often called humming bee breath.
