Abstract

The UNJ PPM Strategic Plan 2021-2025 is directed at 5 (five) focus activities, namely: (1) Education, (2) Poverty Alleviation, (3) Cultural Arts, (4) Environment, and (5) Creative Industries. Broadly speaking, the implementation of this PKM program is the empowerment of the school community in the preparation of PKM plans to provide education in the form of providing applied material regarding fostering an entrepreneurial spirit that can be applied in improving school businesses in the form of a canteen so that it can be an income generating school. Another goal is to explore business ideas by utilizing food ingredients that have the potential to be developed. This training is expected to provide knowledge and understanding of the training material, motivate and inspire trainees to utilize local food ingredients into various business ideas so as to create entrepreneurship in schools.

Abstract

Community empowerment in utilizing empty yard land through the Healthy Garden program is an initiative in Buntalan Hamlet, Kedawung Wetan Village, Grati, Pasuruan to increase food independence and welfare. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. This program focuses on community empowerment through the management of local assets, especially yard land that is not optimally utilized. The goal is to transform the land into a productive garden that produces vegetables, fruits, and medicinal plants to support the nutritional needs and health of the community. This empowerment process involves various stages, starting from discovery (identifying assets), dream (dreaming about the future), design (designing programs), define (determining actions), and destiny (implementing actions). The result is the formation of a healthy garden that functions as an example for the wider community and improves farming skills and local resource management. This program has a positive impact in reducing stunting rates, increasing food independence, and creating a healthier and more independent community in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities carried out by IAIN Palangka Raya students in Sumber Agung Village to improve village infrastructure through making and installing road signs. This program was motivated by observations which showed that many road signs were damaged or missing, which made navigation difficult for the public and visitors. By involving seven students, this activity not only improves regional accessibility and orientation, but also strengthens collaboration between students and the community. Implementation of this program involves coordination with village officials, site surveys, and fundraising, as well as receiving active support from village residents. It is hoped that with the new road signs, it will be easier for the community to carry out activities and recognize important locations in the village, as well as increase the sense of togetherness in efforts to advance the infrastructure of Sumber Agung Village.

Abstract

Health is an important aspect of daily life, including in islamic boarding school environments which play a significant role in religious and moral education. The Healthy Pesantren Movement at Darul Mukhlisin Islamic Boarding School in Sawojajar, Kedungkandang Subdistrict, Malang City, aims to improve the health of students through various programs and activities. This community service program is carried out over 1 year, starting in August 2023 and continuing until 2024, involving 60 students. The program includes health check-ups, health education on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), and improved environmental sanitation. Through a participatory approach, students and pesantren administrators are encouraged to actively engage in maintaining and improving personal and environmental health. The results of this program show an increase in health awareness and healthy living behaviors among students, as well as improvements in sanitation conditions in the pesantren environment. This movement is expected to serve as a model for other pesantren in efforts to enhance the health and well-being of students comprehensively.

Abstract

This service outlines the implementation of an educational program aimed at improving the logistics administration skills of the food unit at PT Sekar Bumi Tbk. Through training needs analysis, comprehensive counseling, and training methods that include theory and practice, this program has succeeded in significantly improving employees' technical and soft skills. The evaluation results show a reduction in errors in managing logistics administration, goods release and goods entry transactions, receiving finished products from the packing team, and following the loading process for local and export shipments. In addition, establishing a culture of collaboration and continuous learning among employees creates an innovative work environment. Thus, this educational program not only strengthens human resource capacity, but also increases the competitiveness of PT Sekar Bumi Tbk in the increasingly competitive frozen food industry, preparing employees to face future challenges more prepared and responsive.

Abstract

Posyandu is one form of Community-Based Health Effort (UKBM) managed and organized by, from, and for the community in health development, aiming to empower the community and provide easy access to basic health services to accelerate the reduction of maternal and infant mortality rates. The urgency of this Community Service activity is to optimize the role of cadres at Posyandu Bergas Waras. The objectives of this Community Service Program are: 1) To assess the level of knowledge of posyandu cadres about the 5-table system, and 2) To provide counseling to cadres about the 5-table system in posyandu. The methods used in this activity are: 1) Measuring the level of knowledge of cadres before counseling through a questionnaire, 2) Providing counseling to posyandu cadres about the 5-table system, and 3) Measuring the level of knowledge of cadres after counseling through a questionnaire. The results of this program showed a 40% increase in the cadres' knowledge. Posyandu Bergas Waras cadres are expected to implement the 5-table system in their routine posyandu activities.

Abstract

On November 27 2024, regional head elections will be held simultaneously. In the Indonesian political system, this is the first simultaneous election. In this election, based on the voter list, many novice voters were involved, namely those who were involved in voting for the first time. New voters are the future of democracy in Indonesia. Therefore, their involvement in elections is encouraged more than just voting but also being involved as election organizers. This is very important for competency development and network expansion in the future. This activity is an outreach regarding registration as an election organizer. The participants in this activity were ITSKKes Muhammadiyah Selong students. As a result of this activity, students were enthusiastic in understanding the voter registration process.

Abstract

The social service activity held in Tlogosari Village, Donomulyo District, Malang Regency, on September 17, 2024, aims to strengthen social solidarity and food security among the local community. The program was organized by lecturers of the Institute of Science and Health Technology dr. Soepraoen Hospital Malang in collaboration with the Kartika Husada Clinic Donomulyo. The focus of the activity was to provide basic food assistance to underprivileged communities and orphans at the “Nasional Ayu” Orphanage, as well as moral support to them. In addition to providing material assistance, the lecturers also interacted directly with the community, providing motivation and support to the orphans to continue pursuing their education. This activity not only aims to ease the economic burden of the community, but also strengthens the relationship between educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and local communities. Good collaboration between academics, health workers, and the community shows a positive impact on the community's welfare through increased awareness of the importance of mutual cooperation and social care.

Abstract

This research discusses the relationship between KKN students and the learning motivation of students at SMPN 3 Maliku. The purpose of this research is to determine whether there is a relationship between KKN students and the learning motivation of students at SMPN 3 Maliku using correlation tests, to see the relationship and how strong that relationship is. Using a quantitative research method with a PAR approach, the data collection technique employs a questionnaire with a Simple Random Sampling selection and determines the sample size using the Solvin Formula. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between KKN students and students' learning motivation of 0.877, which means that KKN students have a perfect relationship or correlation.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills in Namanjahe Village through the utilization of print and social media. The approach used is participatory action research, where researchers are directly involved in activities to address the educational challenges faced by students. Based on interviews and observations, several issues were identified, such as low literacy rates, limited use of educational technology, and a pragmatic mindset that hinders mathematical thinking. The action plan includes introducing print media and social media in classroom activities, demonstrating how to use blogs, creating engaging learning environments, and participating in religious education activities at TPQ Al-Hidayah. The results of the program show that the use of diverse media can stimulate student interest and help improve their literacy and numeracy skills. However, consistent support and follow-up are still needed to ensure long-term impacts on student learning outcomes.
