Abstract

Employee performance could help the company success to achieve its goals. In this era predicting employee performance is a necessity for companies to gain success. In this research, we presented a prediction of the employee performance index using a neural network. In this study, we are using the Cross-industry standard process for data mining (CRISP-DM) as the base framework for the data mining phase. The neural network classification method is employed to create the prediction model. The result shows that using a neural network could get a confusion matrix at 97.777 percent. This model was then applied to get insight from the performance index that showed a couple of factors is has an important role in employee performance.

Abstract

Corn is still an important commodity for small farmer industries in Indonesia. However, one of the problems is the natural drying process with direct sunlight which is quite long and is often disturbed in the rainy season. Reaching 14% moisture content often takes up to 6-7 days so it is not efficient. This is because the direct drying temperature is relatively low, and when it rains it must be moved around, thus increasing labor costs. Several artificial dryers have been developed, but the price is relatively expensive so it is not affordable for small industrial scale. The purpose of this study was to design and evaluate a simple small-scale dome-type dryer. The results showed that the dryers that have been designed and made are quite practical and effective to use for small-scale farmers. Drying time from 35-40% water content to 13.5-14.5% within 2 days with an average drying temperature in the tool 40-56 oC.

This study aims to determine the influence of integrity, togetherness, independence, excellence, and innovation possessed by Trilogy University students on their intention to be a techno-sociopreneur. The population used consists of 2,289 students, spread over 12 study programs. From the population, 350 students were obtained by using cluster sampling method. The data analysis used was Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The result of the study indicate that out of five basic values possessed by Trilogy University students that affect their intention in becoming a techno-sociopreneur are integrity, togetherness, and innovation.

Abstract

As an effort to accelerate poverty alleviation, since 2007 the Government of Indonesia has implemented PKH. The Social Protection Program, which is also known internationally as Conditional Cash Transfers (CCT), has proven to be quite successful in overcoming the poverty faced in these countries, especially the problem of chronic poverty. However, as a conditional social assistance program, PKH has not made it easy for poor families, especially pregnant women and children, to take advantage of the various health service facilities and educational service facilities, available around them. The benefits of PKH have also begun to be encouraged to cover persons with disabilities and the elderly by maintaining their level of social welfare in accordance with the mandate of the constitution and the Nawacita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia. This method uses a qualitative approach using relevant informants. The results of the study showed that there were still findings of PKH maladministration by public service supervisory agencies because socialization was not optimal. Second, there is still inaccurate recipient data so there are still families who are eligible to receive PKH assistance but do not receive it. On the other hand, families who are not eligible receive assistance. Apart from the social development strategy by the individual, there are other strategies such as the social development strategy by the community. In addition, this PKH strategy focuses on community development and social development, then there is also community action, participation, and social development. Furthermore, there is a social development strategy by the government that focuses on promoting social development through integrated planning.

Abstract

In the development of Revolution 4.0, the application of information technology is a must for state administrators (government). And also, the use of information technology in governance (e-government) is also one way to realize bureaucratic reform in improving the quality of public services to make them more effective, efficient, and transparent and accountable. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive verification approach and in-depth interviews with various informants relevant to the study. The results of the research show that the government needs to adapt quickly to support people's needs in a more effective and efficient way. Namely by implementing an E-government system or government that utilizes technology for a transparent, effective, efficient and accountable service to the public. This digital gap can be seen from one of the factors, namely whether or not internet access is evenly distributed and the extent of local people's knowledge regarding digital use. Between these gaps, sometimes we feel irritated when a digital-based service is arguably of good quality in a government agency, but the gap comes from the humans themselves who have not been able to properly utilize their digital infrastructure. Therefore, the government needs more attention to monitor the ability of human resources or ASN to be more consistent with e-government based services. If the HR capabilities are still not able to utilize the e-government system properly, then the funds spent will be in vain. Apart from digital infrastructure funding, there are things that are more urgent than that, namely repairing damaged roads in the regions which of course provide direct satisfaction to the community rather than pouring digital infrastructure funds into the readiness of human resources itself which is low or cannot yet implement e governance over e government.
