Abstract

This research was a quantitative study with two independent variables, namely service quality (X1) and brand image (X2) as well as variables dependent by purchasing decisions (Y). The data collection method was by observation and questionnaire, and using incidental sampling techniques on 100 respondents. Data was then analyzed using regression analysis, regression coefficients and hypothesis tests. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed Y' = 2.537 + 0.281X1 + 0.664X2 with Adjusted R Square obtained of 0.577. With a multiple coefficient of determination value (R2) of 0.585 which meant that the magnitude of the contribution of the influence of service quality variables (X1) and brand image (X2) on the purchasing decision (Y) the Body Shop Mall Olympic Garden Malang was 57.7% while the remaining 42.3% was influenced by variables that were not studied in this study

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions and preferences of ordinary workers in Jakarta regarding pension funds as a means of old-age financial planning. The research employs a survey method involving 100 respondents from various informal and formal employment sectors categorized as ordinary workers. The study focuses on three main aspects: ownership of pension savings, ability to contribute to pension funds, and the method of access preferred for purchasing pension products. The findings reveal that 64% of ordinary workers currently do not possess any retirement savings, indicating a lack of awareness or prioritization of long-term financial planning. Additionally, 77% of respondents reported that they are only capable of saving Rp. 500,000 or less per month for retirement purposes, which reflects limited financial capacity and competing daily financial needs. Furthermore, the survey found that 51% of respondents showed a preference for purchasing pension funds online, suggesting a growing acceptance of digital platforms in financial decision-making. Despite the evident need for future financial security, the overall perception and preference toward pension funds remain low among ordinary workers. This is mainly due to a lack of awareness, insufficient income, and a perceived complexity in accessing and understanding pension products. To improve participation rates, the study recommends the implementation of widespread and continuous education campaigns on the importance of retirement planning, particularly targeting low-income workers. Moreover, enhancing digital access to pension fund products can significantly boost inclusion by simplifying the purchasing process. The study concludes that pension funds, if properly promoted and made accessible, have the potential to become a viable instrument for ensuring income continuity for workers in their retirement years.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of gamification, promotion, and ease of use on consumer loyalty in the Shopee application, focusing on members of the Shopee Games Indonesia Community. The background of this research lies in the increasingly intense competition in the e-commerce industry, which requires companies to develop innovative strategies to retain customers. One of the strategies implemented by Shopee is gamification through interactive game features, diverse promotional activities, and a simple, user-friendly application interface. This research employed a quantitative approach, with primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 97 respondents who actively used Shopee Games features. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that gamification, promotion, and ease of use significantly affect consumer loyalty. These findings highlight that the success of e-commerce applications in retaining customers does not only rely on product quality, but also on creating enjoyable user experiences, relevant promotional strategies, and innovative features that can enhance user engagement. Therefore, the implementation of gamification and promotion strategies supported by ease of use can serve as key factors in improving customer loyalty toward Shopee.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, discounts, and electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) on users’ purchasing decisions in playing and buying games on the Steam platform. The background of this research is based on the growing competition in the digital gaming industry, which requires service providers to understand the key factors that shape consumer behavior. Data were collected using purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to 100 active members of the Steam User Indonesia Community who have direct experience with the platform. The data were analyzed through several statistical tests, including the coefficient of determination, instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression, t-test, and F-test, in order to test the proposed hypotheses. The results reveal that discounts and E-WOM significantly influence users’ purchasing decisions, while service quality does not have a significant effect. The adjusted R² value of 0.461 indicates that the three independent variables in this study explain 46.1% of the variance in purchasing decisions, with the remaining percentage influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings suggest that effective discount strategies and positive user-generated reviews or recommendations play a crucial role in encouraging purchasing decisions on the Steam platform.

Abstract

In today’s increasingly competitive digital era, social media plays a strategic role in shaping brand image as well as influencing consumer purchasing decisions. Instagram, as one of the most popular visual platforms, has been widely utilized by fashion companies, including Alito Sportwear, to expand their marketing reach. This study aims to examine the effect of social media content and influencer marketing on consumer purchasing decisions among followers of Alito Sportwear’s official Instagram account. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method using a survey of 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, following validity and reliability tests which confirmed that the research instruments were both valid and reliable. The findings indicate that both social media content and influencer marketing have a significant impact on consumer purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.260 suggests that 26% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors beyond the scope of this study. These results highlight the importance of designing creative, relevant, and consistent content, as well as collaborating with credible influencers, to enhance consumer buying interest. Practically, the study provides insights for Alito Sportwear and other fashion businesses to optimize social media as an effective and competitive marketing tool.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, work environment, and work enthusiasm on employee performance at CV Istiqomah Furniture Klaten. There is evidence of a decline in employee performance, suspected to be related to these factors, which constitutes the main problem underlying this research. The entire population, consisting of 35 employees, was used as the sample in this quantitative study. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed to analyze data collected through questionnaires. The results indicate that work enthusiasm has a greater impact on employee performance than workload and work environment. The findings highlight the importance of non-physical components such as motivation and enthusiasm in enhancing productivity. The practical implication of this study is the necessity for the company to focus on boosting work enthusiasm through motivational and appreciation programs, rather than solely concentrating on workload management or physical improvement of the work environment. The study highlights the importance of non-physical components, such as motivation and enthusiasm, in improving employee performance. While a well-designed work environment and manageable workload are important, they are not as significant as fostering a work culture that encourages enthusiasm, recognition, and appreciation. The practical implication of these findings is that the company should focus more on boosting work enthusiasm by implementing motivational programs, offering appreciation for achievements, and cultivating a positive organizational culture.

Abstract

The high number of workplace accidents in Indonesia's manufacturing industry, including 31 incidents at PT Cahaya Murni Borneo Timur between September 2022 and June 2023, emphasizes the importance of improving safety standards and creating a conducive work environment to support employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of work environment and work safety on the performance of production employees. The research method uses a quantitative approach with survey techniques on 55 randomly selected respondents. The results of the regression analysis show that the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance (t_hitung = 2.782 > t_table = 2.006; sig. 0.008), as well as work safety (t_hitung = 2.098 > t_table = 2.006; sig. 0.041). Simultaneously, both variables had a significant effect (F_count = 24.199 > F_table = 3.17; sig. 0.000) with a contribution of 48.2% to the variation in employee performance. These results emphasize the importance of improving the quality of the work environment and implementing optimal work safety to support productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Environment (X1), Competence (X2), and Work Motivation (X3) on Employee Performance (Y). The research was conducted at PT Citra Media Nusa Purnama with a sample of 96 employees located in West Jakarta. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 30 at a 5% significance level. The results indicate that Competence (X2) and Work Motivation (X3) have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (Y), while Work Environment (X1) does not show a significant effect. However, when tested simultaneously, the three variables together influence employee performance. These findings highlight that competence is a crucial factor in improving performance, particularly through training programs, mastery of technical knowledge, and the development of operational skills. In addition, motivation plays an essential role and can be strengthened by providing challenging tasks, recognizing employee achievements, encouraging initiative, and granting autonomy in decision-making. Although the work environment did not show a significant partial effect, it remains important to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere to ensure employee well-being and productivity. Overall, this research emphasizes the importance of competence development and motivation strategies as managerial priorities to enhance employee performance in the organization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of discipline, job training, and leadership style on employee productivity at PT Yuna Mandiri Plosokandang Tulungagung. In a competitive world of work, employee productivity is an important indicator in assessing company performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The sample used was all permanent employees of PT Yuna Mandiri totaling 38 people, with a non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sampling method. The data collection technique was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires, then analyzed using validity, reliability, multiple linear regression tests, t-tests, F tests, and determination coefficients (R²) using SPSS software. The results of the study show that 1) discipline partially has no effect on employee productivity, 2) job training partially affects and significantly affects employee productivity, 3) leadership style partially has no effect on employee productivity, 4) discipline, job training, and leadership style simultaneously have an effect and significant on employee productivity. Thus, increasing employee productivity in the company can be done through efforts to strengthen work discipline, provide targeted job training, and implement an effective leadership style.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Quick Ratio, Debt to Total Asset, and Fixed Asset Turnover on Return on Asset in chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. The research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial statements. The population consists of 12 companies, with 8 companies selected as the sample through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software, along with classical assumption tests to ensure the validity of the model. The findings show that the Quick Ratio has no significant effect on Return on Asset, while Debt to Total Asset significantly affects Return on Asset. In contrast, Fixed Asset Turnover does not significantly affect Return on Asset. These results imply that capital structure through debt plays a more dominant role in influencing profitability, whereas liquidity and fixed asset efficiency do not consistently impact financial performance. This study is expected to provide insights for company management in making financial decisions, as well as guidance for investors in assessing firm performance. In addition, the research may serve as a reference for future studies by incorporating additional financial ratios or alternative profitability indicators.
