Abstract

Teachers as the foundation for the creation of quality education must always develop their abilities and professionalism.  Educator certificates are awarded to teachers who have met teacher professional standards.  In the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 38 of 2020 concerning Procedures for Obtaining Educator Certificates for Teachers in Internal Positions, it is regulated that educator certificates for in-service teachers are carried out through the in-service PPG program.  To get a certificate, you must pass PPG which is carried out for 6 months.  With the mechanism, the teacher must register as a prospective student for the PPG program by following the administrative selection, attending lectures of 36 credits, comprehensive testing, PPL, competency test for teacher professional education students.  After passing the teacher professional education competency test, then PPG program students are given an educator certificate by the educational staff education institution.  The procedures and mechanisms for obtaining certificates are numerous and lengthy processes.  Because of this, the implementation of madrasah teacher certification in Riau Province in 2020 is PNS teachers who do not have a certificate of 10.81%, totaling 236 teachers, while non-PNS teachers who do not have a certificate are 53.27% totaling 8,809 teachers.  This condition, if allowed to continue, will add to the long queues for novice teachers to obtain certificates which are a requirement for appointment to functional teacher positions

Abstract

Foundation management is the key to the success of private educational institutions in developing madrasah both physically and non-physically. So that the institutions under its auspices are able to contribute to the growth of education in Indonesia. The management of the Islamic Education Foundation for the development of human resources for educators and education staff in madrasah in Tanah Merah sub-district, Indragiri Hilir Regency needs to be investigated so that it is known exactly how the steps and methods of development are appropriate for the progress of the foundation. Among the development methods used are on the job training and off the job training. Grouping on the job training (position rotation, training, guidance and counseling, job instruction exercises, demonstrations, and temporary assignments). Off the job training is divided into (courses, education, workshops, and seminars). This type of research is descriptive by using qualitative methods. This study uses data analysis techniques, namely data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and conclusions or verification (conclusion/verification). The management of the Kuala Enok Islamic Education Foundation has been good in the religious and social fields. However, there are some improvements that must be addressed immediately, namely in the aspect of fostering educators and education staff through training and development. The methods that have been applied are job rotation, get education from university, courses, workshops, KKG (teacher training) and seminars.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the strategic management of madrasah principals to face the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 at MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, the subject of this research is the head of the madrasa while the object is strategic management. Research data were collected using interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are 1) the head of the madrasah conducts a work meeting at the beginning of the year with all madrasa stakeholders, formulates a strategy by considering the internal and external factors of the madrasa; 2) Making Madrasah Self-Evaluation; 3) Make madrasa residents commit from the start not to run away from planning; 4) Vision, mission, expectations of goals and objectives that go international; 5) Involve all madrasah residents to take an active role; 6) Using the concept of the right man on the right place; 7) Educators and education staff are able to master technology; 8) Carry out continuous supervision directly and indirectly; 9) Delegation of authority in supervision, 10) Evaluation periodically by holding regular meetings

Abstract

This study aims to determine; 1) student management at MAN 1 Pekanbaru, student self-development at MAN 1 Pekanbaru, 2) student self-development at MAN 1 Pekanbaru, 3) Student management for student self-development carried out at MAN 1 Pekanbaru, 4) supporting factors and inhibition of student management for self-development of students at MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative research method approach and using descriptive data analysis. Data collection was done by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis technique using data reduction), data display and conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the results of this study indicate that: 1) Student management carried out at MAN 1 Pekanbaru has been running in accordance with the concept of student management, 2) Self-development of students carried out by MAN 1 Pekanbaru has been running in accordance with aspects of self-management, 3) Student management for the self-development of students carried out MAN 1 Pekanbaru has been running in accordance with management functions, 4) The supporting factors for student management for self-development of students are: (a) Professional and competent mentor teachers, (b) Motivation of participants very strong students, (c) adequate facilities and infrastructure, (d) solid cooperation between teams. While the inhibiting factors are: (a) The budget for activities is not maximized, (b) Cooperation with government agencies is still minimal, (c) News publications about school have not been organized

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of academic supervision and school organizational culture on teacher performance at SD IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru. The population in this study were teachers at SD IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru. This research method uses quantitative probablistic character using multiple regression analysis. The method used to analyze the data is multiple linear regression with a series of instrument tests and classical assumption tests. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, totaling 35 respondents who are teachers at SD IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru. The results of the study are from statistical calculations that the researchers did at SD IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru, it can be seen that the calculated F value is 37,419 at a significance level of 0.000, meaning that it can be ascertained that the Fcount is greater than the F table (3.28). This shows that the variables of Academic Supervision (X1) and Organizational Culture (X2) together have a significant effect on Teacher Performance (Y). Based on the value of the coefficient of determination shows the R2 value of 0.700. This means that the variable Teacher Performance is explained by the variables of Academic Supervision and School Organizational Culture of 70.0%, while the remaining 30% is influenced by other variables not observed in this study

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in the Akidah Akhlak subject through the use of video media for class VII.1 at MTs Negeri 3 Pekanbaru City. The problem raised is that Student Learning Outcomes in Akidah Akhlak Subjects Can Improve Through the Use of Online Learning Video Media for class VII.1 at MTs Negeri 3 Pekanbaru City. The design or design in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR is "an observation of learning activities in the form of an action, which is intentionally raised and occurs in a class together." The Classroom Action Research (CAR) procedure begins with the first cycle consisting of four activities, namely: planning (planning), action (acting), observation (observing), reflection (reflecting). There is also the research results obtained information that in the implementation of the first cycle from the results of observations made during the learning process showed that learning activities and student learning outcomes were not optimal. However, there was an increase in learning activities after improvements were made in cycle II and cycle III. From the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the dring method can improve student learning outcomes in class VII.1 MTsN 3 Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes for fifth grade students of MIN 2 Indragiri Hulu using the guided discovery learning method. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were students of class V-A MIN 2 Indragiri Hulu who collected 28 students, consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students. The researcher uses the action research model of Kemmis and Taggart. This research was carried out in two cycles of action. In the first cycle, it was conducted in one meeting while in the second cycle it was conducted in two meetings. In each cycle there are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The instruments used are observation sheets and tests. Before being used in the study, the test was validated empirically and expert judgment. The reliability test was calculated using Cronbach's Alpha. Observational data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively while the test results were analyzed descriptively quantitatively by percentage. The results of the first cycle of research showed that the percentage of students whose scores were above the KKM only reached 71.43%, so they still could not reach the criteria for research success. In cycle II, the steps for applying the discovery learning method to increase student success were done by providing motivation, dividing the number of group members into smaller groups and the heterogeneity of their members, and providing the opportunity to make group presentations on the results of the practicum in front of the class. The percentage of students' scores above the KKM in the second cycle increased to 89.29%. Results Based on the research, it can be seen that the guided discovey method is able to improve science learning outcomes.

Abstract

Seeing the current phenomenon, people's attitudes and behavior tend to ignore noble values, resulting in a character crisis. Cases such as drug abuse, bullying, and brawls show a decline in morals, mentality, and ethics, especially in the younger generation of the nation's successors, so character education is something that schools, including Christian religious education teachers, need to pay attention to. This study aims to determine the extent of the role of PAK teachers in character education and to determine the application of character education. This research was conducted on the awareness of the importance of the role of Christian Religious Education teachers in developing the character of Christ. This study uses a qualitative method because this method uses data in the form of words or narratives. The data was taken through interview techniques to respondents who were judged to be able to provide accurate information as needed in this study. The findings of the data obtained from this study are first, character education is applied in all subjects in school and even extracurricular. Second, the role of schools in developing character education has been carried out in accordance with the vision and mission, motto and in accordance with the character of Christ, which includes loving, forgiving, caring, humble, patient, sincere, willing to share, obedient, and mutual respect. Third, the role of the PAK teacher is very important in the application of character education in accordance with the character of Christ. Teachers are expected to carry out their role in educating students according to and leading to the character of Christ. This role is carried out by acting and imitating attitudes not only as a teacher but also as a friend, motivator, and agent of change for his students

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to test and analyze how much influence the application of the Group Investigation learning model has in Improving Student Activities and Learning Outcomes in Biological Diversity Subject Matters for Class X MIA 7 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pekanbaru Odd Semesters Academic Year 2021/2022. This research was conducted using qualitative and quantitative methods based on the principles of the PAKEM method (active, creative and effective learning). The results of this study indicate that the activeness of students at the beginning of the cycle has not been seen significantly but entering the second cycle students become more active, motivated, more challenged. while student learning outcomes experienced a significant increase, namely at the beginning of the cycle the results of student evaluations obtained the value of student incompleteness reaching 57.6% while at the end of the cycle it had reached 16.7%. activeness and student learning outcomes have increased significantly. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the Group Investigation learning model can significantly increase the activity and learning outcomes of students in class X MIA 7 MAN 2 Pekanbaru

Abstract

A teacher is not only a resource person in knowing and mastering the subject matter but also being a role model for students. Being a teacher is not an easy thing, apart from being able to teach and educate, it is also a role model in good actions and deeds. The Importance of Exemplary Christian Religious Education Teachers can increase the moral values ​​of students. PAK teachers are teachers, educators and role models, both in words, actions, faith and love. The purpose of this study is to explain how the general description of the example of PAK teachers. Then explain how the example of PAK teachers in increasing the values ​​of student manners. The research method used in collecting and compiling this thesis is a qualitative research literature (library research). The author describes each view or theory of the experts and arranges them sequentially. The results obtained in this study are exemplary providing good examples to students and being responsible for the tasks that have been given to them. The success of a PAK teacher is to start with him first. It can happen through talent, personality, preparation and right relationship with God.
