Abstract

This research investigates how the implementation of religious culturecontributes to the development of students' disciplinary character at SMAN 2Bengkalis. It aims to explore how the application of religious culture influencesthe formation of students' discipline. The research methodology employed isdescriptive qualitative, focusing on the students of iSMAN 2 Bengkalis as theprimary subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews,and documentation, while data analysis involved data reduction, data display,and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was ensured by comparingthe findings from observations and interviews. The study's findings ievealedthat students can cultivate a disciplinary character through the integration ofreligious culture into their daily lives at school. To foster discipline, SMAN 2Bengkalis students practice various religious rituals, such as exchanginggreetings before classes, engaging in prayers before studying, reciting theQur'an (tadarus), congregational prayers during Dhuhr, and participating incollective acts of charity and group readings of the Yasin every Fridaymorning

Abstract

This research purpose was to determine the application of true or false acitve learning strategy to increase the students ‘activeness in islamic education subjectat sixth grade SD Negeri 015 Pangkalan Tampoi. This type of research was classroom action research (CAR). The subject of the research was 29 students of sixth grade SD Negeri 015 Pangkalan Tampoi consisted of boys and 18 girls. From the results of the class action research and discussion were based on the research steps: 1) Planning for class action preparation, 2) Action implementation, 3) Observation, 4) reflection. This research was conducted in three cycles and each cycle was conducted in one meeting. In order to ensure the classroom action research, run well, the researcher arranges the steps: 1) action planning/preparation, 2) action implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The results showed that the application of the true or false acitve learning strategy increased the students ‘activeness in islamic education. The observations result of student learning activities in the class where data was taken reveled that in the first cycle the percentage of student activity was 54.54%, which indicated that the student activity was in the low category. In cycle 1, there was an increase in the percentage of learning activities to 63.64%. Between cycle I and cycle 2 there was an increase of 9.1%, although activity in cycle 2 was still in the low category. Therefore, the researchers returned to reflect, find obstacles, and find solutions to be applied to the next cycle. Student activity from cycle 2 to cycle 3 increased in 18.18%, in cycle 2 student learning activity was 63.64% and in cycle 3 it became 81.82%. Student activities in cycle 3 was already in the high category

Abstract

Bengkalis is also one of the districts with quite a lot of immigrant communities as a result of which there is a lot of cultural mixing. And there are not a few people who follow the culture brought by migrants, so that it can trigger the songket weaving craft to be less appreciated by the local community. This research will discuss 5 songket weaving motifs which are quite familiar among the people, especially the people of Bengkalis. Which aims to find out what educational values are contained in it. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and literature or documentation studies. While the selection of informants using purposive sampling technique. The Bengkalis Malay songket woven fabric has a variety of woven motifs or patterns ranging from flora, fauna, nature and others. These motifs have meanings that describe how the perspective of human life. In Riau, it has four weaving centers, namely in Indragiri Hulu, Rokan Hilir, Bengkalis and Siak. Each of these areas has a different basic motive. In the Bengkalis area, there are about 90 typical Malay motifs. In this study, five motifs that are well known among the public will be discussed, namely the bamboo shoots, ducks returning home, sentorak, elbow clouds and ants along. Riau Malay woven fabric is a fabric made by the handicrafts of the Malay people, which is done by the process of weaving threads interspersed with woven gold or silver threads with a certain variety of woven motifs or patterns. The variety of motifs and patterns of woven fabrics in Bengkalis is very diverse. And in each of these motifs there is a very close relationship between humans and nature, both animals and plants. For the Malays, the pattern is not only a mere decoration, but also used as a symbol or symbol that contains a certain meaning and philosophy which contains the noble values of the local culture

Abstract

Kompang art is a traditional art that still exists today, and is still widely used in formal events such as plain flour pats. Kompang is an art that already has a lot of customs in it which shows identity as a Malay nation that upholds art with a touch of Islamic law. In this paper the author is interested in discussing the character values contained in the Kompang art in Pasiran Village. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study conducted in-depth interviews with one of the informants, namely Mr. Kasim who lives in Pasiran Village who is the owner of the Kompang Pasiran art studio. Then do an analysis that this Kompang art has existed for a long time, and has moral and aesthetic values in it. Where Hindu teachings are still felt so strong in the use of the tools used in every plain flour patting event, but the Islamic teachings that have been assimilated into it bring prayers and sholawat in the book of al Barzanji to make the connection with Islamic law so felt. With the existence of Islamic teachings, this will make the character and personality of the local community better in attitude, behavior, in accordance with Islamic teachings contained in the Kompang art

Abstract

This perception and communication is very important to know because it understands behavioral science. Communication occurs when someone wants to convey information to others. And this communication can work properly and correctly and if the delivery of the information conveys it properly, and the recipient of the information receives it not in the form of a ride. Perception is essentially a cognitive process experienced by everyone in understanding information about their environment, through sight, hearing, appreciation, feeling and smell. Communication is the process of conveying information from one person to another, either by telephone, letter, conversation, expression, a combination of these methods, and so on. In essence, perception is a process of evaluating a person against a particular object. Because perception is an activity of sensing, integrating and providing an assessment of physical objects and social objects, and this sensing depends on physical and social stimuli in the environment. In the process of individual perception required to provide an assessment of an object that can be positive/negative, happy or not happy and so on. With the existence of perception, attitudes will be formed, namely a stable tendency to apply or act in a certain way in certain situations

Abstract

This study aims to determine; 1) The condition of the professionalism of the TAS at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, 2) Efforts made by schools to improve the professionalism of TAS at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City, and 3) Factors that influence the professionalism of TAS at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted from July to September 2021 using a descriptive qualitative approach. Qualitative research is data obtained from various sources using various data collection techniques (triangulation) and is carried out continuously until the data is saturated (Sudaryono, 2016: 243). The subjects of this research consisted of the principal and seven TAS MAN 2 Pekanbaru City. The data collection methods consisted of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study revealed three findings that concluded; 1) TAS at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City is quite professional, the indicator is from the seven components of school administration activities that have been carried out by TAS, 2) The efforts made by TAS to improve their professionalism are; attending training and socialization about the school administration system, learning independently with the assistance of the principal, and the efforts of the head of MAN 2 Pekanbaru City to improve the professionalism of TAS, namely including TAS in training or training or socialization as well as internal coaching, 3) Factors that influence the professionalism of TAS at MAN 2 Pekanbaru City include motivation, leadership, work infrastructure, and work climate.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, the world of education must carry out a reconstruction of thinking, towards thinking that is more transformative and has a global perspective. In this modern era, information can be obtained from advances in information technology, such as the internet. So Freire's view which states that there is suppression of creativity and the development of student potential becomes true, if the application of traditional learning methods such as lectures is no longer appropriate with the current educational paradigm. Educational institutions are a form of social and cultural structure in a society. Changes in elements in culture will bring changes to a norm, and from these changes in norms will also bring changes to social institutions. Thus cultural change can change social organization. If an educational institution such as a school cannot keep up with social change, then it will lose its function and it is likely that it will be abandoned by society. Therefore, through educational practice, students are invited to understand how history or cultural experience can be transformed in the era of life they will experience and prepare them to face the challenges and demands that lie within. As a strategic step, researchers will discuss how the world of education must carry out a reconstruction of thinking towards thinking that is more transformative and has a global outlook, namely a thinking that is able to read the real conditions of society. Abstract

The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out the values of Islamic education contained in pulut kuning in the khataman al-Qur'an event in Teluk Smooth Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. The method used in this research is to use a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were the people of Teluk Lancar village who had knowledge of pulut kuning. Data collection was carried out by conducting  interviews, documentation and literature study. The results showed that the implementation of the khataman al-qur'an with yellow pulut was often carried out in the village of Teluk Lancar, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. The results of the study of khatman al-Qur'an using yellow pulut include preparation, core and cover. The process of preparing for the Khataman al-Qur'an includes preparing the time for execution, preparation for the venue, and preparation for the host. Then the main event includes a prayer of congratulations, sungkeman, and so on. The final result of this research is that pulut kuning in the ceremony of circumcision of the Koran is only symbolic and is not required because in the khatman of the Koran during the holy month of Ramadan, pulut kuning is not used. Pulut kuning is just a hereditary tradition, if it is not made it will feels incomplete

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the extracurricular activities outside the classroom take the form of Hadrah, which emphasizes the Akhlakul Karimah values of MTsN 1 Bengkalis students. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The basic group of this study consisted of coaches, trainers and students totaling 11 people, the sample in this study was 5 people. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Miles and Huberman model, namely. Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion/Review. The results of this study indicate that activities outside the Hadrah class tend to form Akhlakul Karimah students at MTsN 1 Bengkalis which is marked by a change in the personality of each student consisting of students becoming more disciplined, responsible, polite and more disciplined. respect teacher. good relations and good social relations between the teacher and his friends
