Abstract

Honey is a product that is much sought after by consumers as a health product. So far, honey producers have only focused on increasing consumer confidence that their product is genuine honey without worrying about consumer satisfaction, making it challenging to attract loyal consumers. This study aims to analyze the influence of consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty to Suhita Honey. This study was conducted using interviews and direct observation. Sampling Method This survey was taken as an accidental sample from a total sample of 34 respondents. The techniques used are descriptive analysis and structural equation model (SEM) analysis. The results showed a significant influence between customer satisfaction and loyalty with the Suhita brand, with a P-value of 0.000 (<0.05) and an R-squared value of 0.897, representing 89% of the variables in this study were customer satisfaction. This can explain the variable of consumer loyalty. Other variables outside this research model explain the rest.

Abstract

The agricultural product processing industrial sector, particularly the agro-industry in the food and beverage sector, significantly contributes to Indonesia’s national income. The consumption pattern of the agro-industrial community has changed over the past ten years. Previously, consumers’ preference for purchasing food and beverages was 38.9%, but this reduced to 36.7% in 2018. Due to shifting customer demand trends, this consumption issue is one that the environment outside the organization is to blame for. The supply chain management plan is one of the environmental concerns the organization has considered in its strategy. In the food and beverage agro-industry in Malang City, this study aims to ascertain the impact of ecological factors on supply chain management strategies and the existence of mediating variables, specifically internal factors that have an indirect relationship between external factors and supply chain management strategies. With a path coefficient of 0.212 0.688 and a P-value of <0.001, the WarpPLS SEM analysis method produced results that showed both internal and external factors had an impact on the supply chain management strategy despite internal factors having a more minor effect than external factors. To sustain client loyalty, internal variables must continue to match customer demand when there is an increase in the number of customers. The priority for company improvement is more on the system within the company.

Abstract

Currently, to meet daily needs, it can not only be purchased offline but can also be purchased online, including the acquisition of fresh vegetables. The writer aims to identify factors determining consumer decisions in purchasing vegetables online in Pontianak City. The research occurred in Pontianak City, the provincial capital, from June to July. Respondents amounted to 110 people. The writer used a purposive sampling technique to determine the sampling method for this research. The variables under scrutiny encompass consumer decision-making (Y), cultural factors (X1), social factors (X2), personal factors (X3), and psychological factors (X4). The analytical approach of choice is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Before conducting data analysis, the data obtained will be tested by testing the validity and reliability first. Subsequently, a fit assessment will be shown to gauge the stages of congruence or Goodness Of Fit (GOF) between the data and the proposed model. The analysis result explains the factors that positively impact consumer decision-making in buying vegetables online are cultural and psychological factors. This is due to the perceptions and attitudes of consumers who are open to new existing cultures so that consumers prefer and want to try the current culture. Psychological factors lead to consumer perceptions and beliefs about buying vegetables online, which creates the desire and encouragement to try buying vegetables online. The better the consumer's perception, the more confident it is for customers to try to repurchase vegetable products online. Consumer knowledge about online shopping is also impactable in making purchasing decisions, and it is because the higher the consumer's knowledge about online shopping, the higher the decision to buy vegetables online.

Abstract

Currently, the digitalization of services has erased the boundaries between producers and consumers, one of which is by using e-commerce. This service can help solve farmer and stakeholder problems related to inefficient communication. The focus of this research is to determine the influence of Indonesia's macro environment on the development of fruit and vegetable e-commerce in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method with political, economic, social, technological, ecological, and legal variables to describe the macro environment. The relationship between each macro-environmental factor is studied using PESTEL analysis as a potential opportunity and threat to developing vegetable and fruit e-commerce businesses in Indonesia. The study results show that stable Indonesian politics and rapidly growing digital technology in Indonesia support the development of fruit and vegetable e-commerce. However, from an economic, social, ecological, and legal perspective, it has yet to be able to significantly contribute to developing fruit and vegetable e-commerce in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate fruit and vegetable e-commerce with other goods and services the community needs, such as Grabmart from Grab and Gomart from Gojek.

Abstract

One of the fast-growing livestock subsectors is the poultry sector. This livestock subsector produces broiler chicken meat as a strategic commodity in addition to beef, milk, and eggs. The level of broiler chicken meat consumption is the highest order, followed by native chicken consumption, then beef. Broiler meat is a rapidly growing strategic commodity. This study uses ECM model analysis to determine the short-term market integration in broiler chickens—time series data on broiler chicken prices at the producer level between January 2015 and December 2020. This analysis's first step is testing broiler chicken meat producer price data stationarity in 28 provinces. Data that are not stationary will be heteroscedastic (have autocorrelation). In addition, time series data that are not stationary can also produce spurious regression, a condition in which two or more variables have a causality relationship, but there is no theory or logic underlying the direct causality relationship between two or more of these variables. According to the findings of this investigation, there is no complete integration. According to the study's findings, the weak flow of information in the market is suspected, so the information transmitted is not perfect. This shows that the broiler meat market in Indonesia leads to imperfect competition. The broiler's construction meat commodity market leads to oligopsony. Government intervention is required to establish broiler meat price control policies with the primary consideration of focusing on the price leader market that will be transmitted in harmony with other regions to make the broiler meat market structure more competitive.

Abstract

One of the agricultural sectors that has quite an important role in supporting the national economy is the livestock sub-sector, including large livestock, small livestock, poultry, and other types of livestock. Poultry farming, namely laying hens, produces eggs, which are widely consumed by all levels of society. Eggs are a source of protein needed by the body, so it is not surprising that they are a food in demand. The areas that are the center for producing purebred chicken eggs are the Sinoa District and the Tompobulu District. The study aimed to analyze the marketing channels and margins of purebred chicken eggs. This research was conducted in Bantaeng District with two sub-districts, Sinoa District and Tompobulu District, with 25 respondents,  where 20 breeder respondents were determined purposively, and five traders were determined using the Tracing Method. The data collection techniques used were surveys, interviews, and documentation. The research results were analyzed using a descriptive approach to describe the marketing channels for purebred chicken eggs and analysis of marketing margins. The research results show three marketing channels used by laying hen breeders: (1) Channel I (Breeders – Consumers); (2) Channel II (Breeders – Retailers –   Consumers); (3) Channel III (Breeders – wholesalers – Retailers – Consumers). Meanwhile, the margin in Channel I is not found because breeders sell directly to consumers. On Channel II, the margin is IDR 200.00/item. On Channel III, the margin is IDR 400.00/item. The average marketing margin for marketing channel II is IDR. 6,000.00/frame, and channel III is IDR 12,000.00/ frame. The difference in margins that occur in marketing channels II and III is caused by the number of marketing institutions involved in marketing eggs, where the longer the marketing channel, the more marketing institutions are involved, which results in a greater marketing margin.
