Abstract

This study aims to interdisciplinary analyze the influence of overconfidence and herding behavior on the dynamics of the Islamic capital market, as well as examine the role of sharia principles as a moderating mechanism against investor behavioral bias. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with reference to the PRISMA guidelines to identify, select, and synthesize reputable scientific articles for the 2020-2025 period relevant to the theme of Islamic behavioral finance. The results of the study indicate that overconfidence increases trading intensity and risk exposure, while herding behavior amplifies short-term volatility and convergence of Islamic stock prices, especially during periods of market uncertainty. However, sharia principles, through screening mechanisms, prohibitions on riba and gharar, and strengthening ethical values such as justice and responsibility, act as moderating variables that relatively reduce the destructive impact of these biases. These findings confirm that Islamic capital markets are not completely immune to behavioral distortions, but possess a normative-institutional framework that can strengthen market discipline. This research contributes to the development of Islamic behavioral finance by offering an integration of psychological and normative perspectives to explain Muslim investor behavior and its implications for the stability and efficiency of Islamic capital markets.

Abstract

The Troso woven fabric industry is a cultural heritage that has developed from generation to generation, with various innovations in the motifs and types of fabrics produced. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of the Troso woven fabric industry in Troso Village, Pecangaan District, Jepara Regency, especially in targeting the millennial generation market. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with data collection methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data obtained are analyzed using a SWOT analysis to identify internal factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses, as well as external factors in the form of opportunities and threats. The results show that Troso woven fabric craftsmen have implemented a 4P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion) by adjusting the motifs and types of fabrics that consumers are interested in, determining prices according to purchasing power, choosing strategic sales locations, and utilizing social media and marketplaces as promotional tools. The SWOT analysis produces an S-O strategy that emphasizes the use of internal strengths to seize market opportunities, an S-T strategy to deal with threats, a W-O strategy to minimize weaknesses by utilizing opportunities, and a W-T strategy for a defensive strategy. This study recommends that, with the implementation of appropriate strategies, the Troso woven fabric industry can increase sales, expand market reach, and maintain business sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the use of R Project Software in mathematical statistics courses can contribute to improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in the context of data-based decision making. Indicators of critical thinking in decision making with R Project: 1) interpretation (can write what is known and asked in the question clearly or identify the problem correctly); 2) analysis (can write what must be done in solving the problem); 3) inference (can draw conclusions from what is asked logically and visualize the results); 4) evaluation (can write down the solution to the problem and build a model to evaluate alternatives); and 5) explanation (can provide reasons for the conclusions drawn). The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. This research has a population of 80 students with a sample size of 40 students using non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling technique. By using a significance level of 5% and a df value of nk = 40 - 2 = 38, the ttable value is 1.686. The tcount value of 3.383 exceeds the ttable value of 1.686, indicating that the null hypothesis is rejected at a 95% confidence level. And, keep the abstract concise by stating only the conclusion of the statistical test (significant positive effect). Thus, R Project can be recommended as a natural analysis tool for learning mathematical statistics.
