Abstract

Improving learning independence and academic achievement among elementary school students in Papua remains a challenge, especially considering that the rich cultural heritage of Papua has not been well integrated into education. This study aims to examine Papua Cultural-Based Learning Strategies (PCBLS) integrated with Canva media to enhance learning independence and academic achievement of elementary school students in Papua. The study employs a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test post-test approach. The research sample consists of 60 fourth-grade students at SD INPRES SIBENA 1, divided into 3 control classes and 3 experimental classes. The PCBLS intervention integrated with Canva media was implemented over one semester. The analysis results indicate that PCBLS integrated with Canva media effectively improves learning independence (t = 5.42, p < 0.01) and academic achievement (t = 6.21, p < 0.01) among elementary school students in Papua. The findings of this study demonstrate that PCBLS integrated with Canva media is an effective learning strategy to enhance learning independence and academic achievement of elementary school students in Papua. This encourages teachers to adopt this learning strategy and contributes new insights to educational science and teaching practices in Papua.

Abstract

This study explores the mediating role of corporate brand image on the impact of logistics performance attributes on customer retention and their willingness to pay a premium in the Indonesian energy logistics industry. Addressing the scarcely researched intricacies of energy logistics services in Indonesia, this research aims to fill a gap by examining the specific role of corporate brand image in Business-to-Business (B2B) relationships, which has been more extensively studied in other national contexts such as China. Data generated from 30 companies whose the client of one big logistic company in Indonesia, and the data analyzed by SEM-PLS. Findings indicate that the corporate brand image exerts a positive and significant influence on customer retention, yet it does not significantly affect the willingness to pay a premium. Logistics performance attributes demonstrated a positive and significant impact on both variables, customer retention) and premium pricing. There was also a significant influence of logistics performance attributes on corporate brand image. The study reveals that the corporate brand image partially mediates the relationship between logistics performance attributes and willingness to pay a premium, but not in the case of customer retention. These insights are vital for energy logistics companies in Indonesia to enhance brand image strategies to improve retention and customer willingness to pay more.

Abstract

Consequently, the activities that develop as a result of the formation of activity/land use centers such as government administration centers, residential areas, schools, hospitals, entertainment facilities, shopping centers, tourism accommodation centers, causes huge movement generation which affects the existing transportation systems. It can be concluded that the resulting travel time will decrease with a large enough passenger carrying capacity. The recommended form is the type of LRT (Light Rail Transit) with rail-based technology. The method used in this research is literature study, primary data collection in the form of household interview surveys, and secondary data collected from several related institutions. The survey results were analyzed with the help of Microsoft Office Excel and modeling using a linear regression equation with the independent variables measured, namely family composition (X1), number of working members (X2), number of members attending school (X3), number of members working and attending school (X4), vehicle ownership (X5), family income (X6), and the dependent variable (Y) as the number of family movements per day. The modeling results obtained the best equation, namely Y=1.394+0.888X1 and the Determinant Coefficient (R²) value obtained was 0.824 or 82.4%. LRT (Light Rail Transit) line concept with the starting point of the Station Zero Point Manado - Paal Dua Station 1 - Paal Dua Station 2 - Manado-Bitung Toll Gate Station - Manado-North Minahasa Station - Mapanget Station - Sam Ratulangi International Airport Station with a total of 7 stations and 6 segments and a total length of 15,400 meters.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS is a frightening disease for Indonesian society today, so that people with HIV/AIDS often get excessive stigma and discrimination. The design of this study was an observational quantitative study with a cross sectional approach with a research focus directed at analyzing family support and service quality on the utilization of the VCT Poly and compliance of HIV / AIDS patients in undergoing antiretroviral therapy (ARV). at Gambiran Hospital, Kediri City with a sample of 109 respondents taken by Accidental Sampling technique. The results showed that most respondents had sufficient family support, namely 56 respondents (51.4%). Most respondents rated the quality of service in the moderate category as many as 56 respondents (51.4%). Most respondents had moderate utilization as many as 55 respondents (50.5%). Most respondents were not compliant with antiretroviral therapy (ARV), as many as 65 respondents (59.6%). The results of the study using the Path Analysis Test showed a p-value <0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, so it was concluded that there was a significant effect of family support and service quality through the use of VCT Poli on the compliance of HIV / AIDS patients in undergoing antiretroviral therapy (ARV) at Gambiran Hospital, Kediri City. Compliance of HIV / AIDS patients in undergoing antiretroviral therapy (ARV) is influenced by family support, service quality and utilization in the VCT Poly itself. So that patients need to be given good support and improve the quality of services available at the VCT Poly.

Abstract

Health problems classified as non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are those that cannot be spread from one person to another directly. With 41 million fatalities annually, or 71 percent of all deaths globally, these illnesses rank as the leading cause of death and disability worldwide. 15 million individuals between the ages of 30 and 69 die from non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The most common cause of NCD fatalities is cardiovascular disease, which is followed by cancer, respiratory conditions, and diabetes. Hospitals are crucial to the management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in a number of ways, including palliative care, treatment, screening, and detection. The purpose of this study is to examine hospitals' involvement in NCD management. The scoping review technique, a methodical approach and selection procedure, is employed in this study. The last ten years' worth of publications from national and international databases, including PubMed, Scopus, and Ebsco/Springer, are searched for literature sources. According to the study's findings, hospitals, as health service institutions, play a part in global health diplomacy (GHD), or a negotiated process of collective action for global health. This includes three types of diplomacy: informal diplomacy, which takes the form of interactions between international public health actors and their partners, such as officials from the host country, non-governmental organizations, private businesses, and the community, and core diplomacy, which takes the form of formal negotiations between countries. Multi-stakeholder diplomacy is defined as talks between countries and other actors that don't always result in agreement.

Abstract

Diaper dermatitis is a common dermatological condition in children, particularly those aged 0-24 months, characterized by mild to severe inflammation. Over hydration skin has been associated with the occurrence of diaper dermatitis, as it can disrupt the skin barrier and trigger inflammation. To determine the relationship between skin hydration levels and the severity of diaper dermatitis in children aged 0-24 months. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 87 children aged 0-24 months with diaper dermatitis. Skin hydration levels were measured using a Corneometer® CM 825. The severity of diaper dermatitis was assessed using the Buckley Scale. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test, and results were considered significant if p<0,05. The relationship between the level of skin hydration and the severity of diaper dermatitis showed significant results (p=0.034) where the majority of subjects had a sufficiently hydrated degree of skin hydration in the diaper area, which was 69 people. Skin with sufficiently hydrated has a higher risk of more severe diaper dermatitis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the carrying capacity of land for residential areas in the Regional Long-Term Development Planning of Badung Regency 2025--2045. This research is a documentary research using quantitative data sourced from the 2023 Badung Regency Strategic Environmental Assessment Document. The quantitative data was analyzed using the runoff coefficient analysis technique to calculate water availability. In addition, conversion techniques are also used to calculate the needs of residents for water to live a decent life. The results of documentary research can find that for 2025-2045 Badung Regency has a water surplus status of 97,378.00 m3. However, if you look at the needs of the population per village/per sub-district for water, it can be seen that there are as many as fifteen villages with a water deficit. In addition, it can also be known that the construction of hotels, housing, and other physical developments that are carried out massively, which is accompanied by the use of groundwater as much as 4,846 m3/month, can cause land subsidence and encourage flash floods.
