Abstract

This paper is intended to strengthen social studies education especially in citizenship education in developing and increasing students’ democratic attitude through social simulation model. This research is done to expand the students’ awareness of social issues in order to they can play important role as good citizen. Social simulation model is offered as alternative solution to solve the social problem in students’ daily activities in society. The dispute between students group is considered caused by low of students’ awareness of democratic attitude. By developing this model, students can work cooperatively in building social relationship and correspondence, also avoiding solving social problem by anarchies.Key words: citizenship education, students’ democratic attitude, social simulation model.

Abstract

RESUME: Sekolah, sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal, menjadi lembaga yang diharapkan mampu mengembangkan dan mempertahankan nilai-nilai demokrasi di kalangan peserta didik. Sekolah harus mampu memberikan kontribusi terhadap peningkatan sikap demokratis peserta didik, sesuai dengan harapan keluarga, masyarakat, bangsa, dan negara. Pendidikan demokrasi selayaknya disosialisasikan kepada seluruh masyarakat, tidak terkecuali kepada peserta didik yang akan mewarisi bangsa dan negara ini di masa yang akan datang. Demokrasi dapat diupayakan melalui pendidikan, baik pendidikan formal dan informal, maupun pendidikan non-formal. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan model simulasi sosial dalam rangka meningkatkan sikap demokratis siswa terhadap pembelajaran kewarganegaraan. Model yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai-nilai pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan demokrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, karena dianggap paling sesuai untuk mencapai tujuan. Peserta didik dan guru di lima SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, model simulasi sosial pada pembelajaran PKn (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan) konteks IPS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) terbukti dapat meningkatkan sikap demokratik peserta didik. KATA KUNCI: Model simulasi sosial, pengajaran dan pembelajaran, PKn konteks IPS, siswa sekolah menengah, dan sikap demokratis. ABSTRACT: “Developing the Social Simulation Model in Learning Civics of Social Studies Context: An Increasing Effort of Democratic Attitudes to Students”. School, as a formal educational institution, is becoming an institution that is expected to develop and sustain democratic values among the learners. School should be able to contribute the improvement of democratic attitudes of learners, according to the expectations of family, community, nation, and state. Democratic education should be disseminated to the entire community, not exception to the learners who will inherit this nation in the future. Democracy can be achieved through education, both formal and informal education, as well as non-formal education. The research discussed about the development of social simulation model in order to improve the students’ democratic attitude to the learning of civics. The model is being developed having the educational values, particularly democratic education. The study used research and development method, since it is suitable with the research objectives. Participants in this research are teachers and students of the five of Senior High Schools by using experiment approach. Abstract

Education is an important place for the formation of student behavior and character. Market day is present as a form of implementation of entrepreneurial learning that supports aspects of student competence that are instilled through entrepreneurial values. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Adipasir Rakit, Banjarnegara using a qualitative approach method aimed at describing the implementation of strengthening students' entrepreneurial behavior. The research results show that the market day program is a strong foundation for strengthening entrepreneurial behavior. The planning stage is the main foundation, where students are invited to formulate ideas, produce goods, set goals, and develop implementation strategies. Market day forms various entrepreneurial attitudes. Students demonstrate independence, creativity, leadership, honesty, curiosity, discipline, cooperation and innovation during activities. Market day is not only an ordinary school event, but also a forum for strengthening students' character and entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

: Umbrellas as a medium for meeting human needs are certainly very familiar. In this condition, it can be seen that umbrellas are adaptive living equipment, so that even umbrellas need to be seen as 'symbolic objects' that have various meanings for their users. Umbrellas in Java have long historical roots dating back to the 1950s. The initial function of the umbrella was as body protection from hot or rainy weather, but then the umbrella transformed into other functions such as in art, death and became symbols of nobility. Kalibagor is one of the sub-districts located in Banyumas district. Many home industries for paper umbrellas are made directly by the community. The raw materials for this paper umbrella are paper and wood. Even the umbrellas are painted, there is no machine intervention. As the years change, the times change, technology exposure is unavoidable for umbrella craftsmen. The existence of modern umbrellas made from synthetics and manufactured iron handles, makes consumers abandon hand-assembled umbrellas. This paper will discuss how this Kalibagor paper umbrella craft can survive and continue to live in the modern era, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic to continue to support the family and surrounding community.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyse the negative impacts of social media usage on student behavior at elementary schools and to explain the advantages and disadvantages of social media usage. Social media is part of technological advancement that allows online usage without spatial or temporal constraints, thus accessible to anyone including elementary school students. Inappropriate usage of social media has negative impacts on student behavior. The method employed in this research is the case study method. A case study is an investigation that utilizes various sources of evidence to examine a contemporary phenomenon within the context of real-life situations. Keyword: Social Media, Negative Impacts, Students Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menganalisis mengenai dampak negatif penggunaan media sosial pada perilaku peserta didik di sekolah dasar dan menjelaskan kelebihan serta kekurangan dari penggunaan media sosial. Media sosial merupakan bagian dari kemajuan teknologi yang penggunaannya secara online tanpa batas ruang dan waktu sehingga dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja termasuk peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan media sosial yang tidak sesuai kebutuhan memiliki dampak negatif pada perilaku peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus. Studi kasus adalah suatu penyelidikan yang menggunakan berbagai sumber bukti untuk meneliti suatu fenomena kontemporer dalam konteks kehudupan nyata yang sebenarnya. Abstract

Perundungan dan perundungan siber menjadi problematika yang muncul di dunia Pendidikan dan mampu menghambat pertumbuhan dari peserta didik. Temuan di sekolah mitra diperoleh beberapa informasi bahwa siswa siswi pernah melakukan perundungan dalam bentuk verbal berupa ejekan, sekolah mitra belum mendapatkan informasi secara rinci tentang perundungan dan perundungan siber, dan belum adanya program khsus yang berfokus dalam penanggulangan perundungan dan perundungan siber di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan adanya program edukasi bagi guru-guru di MIM Pasirmuncang. Tujuan dari kegiatan edukasi bagi guru terhadap perundungan dan perundungan siber adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran guru-guru di MIM Pasirmuncang mengenai bullying dan cyberbullying, serta membekali mereka dengan strategi dan metode yang efektif untuk mengidentifikasi, menangani, dan mencegah perilaku perundungan di lingkungan sekolah. Monitoring dan evaluasi program dilakukan secara digital, memanfaatkan sistem informasi dan survei daring untuk memastikan relevansi dan efektivitas program. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community Based Parcipatory Action Research (CBPAR) yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Program edukasi yang dilakukan berfokus pada penyuluhan kepada guru-guru tentang urgensi dari bullying dan cyberbullying disertai dengan dampak dan alternatif solusinya. Hasil program edukasi ini memberikan dampak pada peningkatan kesadaran dari guru terhadap urgensi dari bullying dan cyberbullying. Program edukasi tentang bullying dan cyberbullying yang dilakukan mendapatkan respon yang baik dan menjadi pemantik guru-guru untuk lebih memperhatikan keamanan dan kenyamanan peserta didik dalam belajar di sekolah.

Abstract

Many changes to the curriculum in Indonesia have also been made because they follow current developments or could also be due to other things such as changes in leaders including the minister of education, evaluation of the previous curriculum which was deemed less effective, and so on. Various problems that arise during curriculum development need to be reviewed further in depth and analyzed carefully. PeThis study uses a literature review research method. Literature review research is the result of analyzing various information and conceptual data, qualitative data and quantitative data from several research articles published earlier and containing theories related to the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in elementary schools. Results With this curriculum, it is hoped that it can produce advanced teaching in Indonesia, can deepen the potential of students, so this curriculum is deliberately made simple and flexible. In the process of implementing this curriculum, teachers are often faced with various challenges and obstacles. Of course, all elements of education have an important role in improving things that can hinder the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Therefore, in further studies, a more appropriate arrangement or strategy is needed so that it can be used as an alternative or solution to the obstacles experienced by teachers in the process of implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka in elementary school.

Abstract

Education is one way to build an entrepreneurial spirit. One of the entrepreneurship programs is the market day program. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of the market day program in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of students at SD Negeri 1 Banjarkulon Banjarnegara. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The sources of informants used are students, teachers managing the market day program and parents of students The results of this study indicate that with the market day program most students have an entrepreneurial spirit such as self-confidence, creativity in making products, enthusiasm in selling, having a leadership spirit and taking risks. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the market day program at  SD Negeri 1 Banjarkulon Banjarnegara can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students well.

Abstract

Abstract. The background of this study is the low attitude of student discipline during distance learning. This study aims to determine the benefits of WhatsApp groups in distance learning on improving the discipline attitude of elementary school students. Student discipline is very important to improve learning outcomes. The data used is secondary data, as well as the research method used is literature study research. The analysis technique used in this study is the content analysis. The data obtained will be collected, analyzed, and concluded to get the expected conclusion. Based on the results of literature research from several journals written by researchers previously showed that the use of WhatsApp groups in distance learning is very useful in the process of increasing student discipline.

Abstract

Lack of student education activeness in online learning during the pandemic is the background of this research. This study aims to provide an overview of how active elementary school students learn in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic and find out the factors causing the lack of student learning activeness in online education. The type of research used is literature study research. The data collection technique used is to collect theoretical studies and references sourced from articles and journals that have been accredite. This literature uses literature published in 2020-2021which can be accessed in full text in pdf format. The criteria for the articles reviewed are articles in Indonesian language research journals with the subject of student activity. Based on the results of literature research from several journals that have been written by previous researchers, it shows that in online learning, student activity is influenced by several factors, namely factors from teachers, parents, and students themselves.
