Abstract

The rapid growth of Bandung, both in population and economic activity, has heightened the demand for efficient and effective transportation. To address these challenges, the Integrated Public Transportation Development and Improvement Policy, grounded in Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2022, was introduced. This study, drawing on Thomas R. Dye's policy implementation theory as referenced by Wahab (2022), aims to assess the effectiveness of this policy in enhancing public transportation services in Bandung. Using a qualitative descriptive analysis method, the research incorporates primary and secondary data gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis of public transportation systems. The findings reveal that the policy is well-structured with clear objectives, adequate budget allocations, and effective inter-institutional coordination, leading to significant improvements in accessibility and comfort of public transportation. However, challenges remain, including insufficient infrastructure, ineffective regulations, and issues with integrating different transportation modes. The study proposes solutions such as stricter regulation enforcement and better integration of transportation modes. Recommendations include increased infrastructure investment, enhanced coordination among institutions, and greater community involvement in the planning and evaluation processes of public transportation policies. These measures are expected to contribute to a more efficient, effective, and sustainable public transportation system in Bandung, thereby supporting the city’s future development.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of project implementation by evaluating the impact of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and the Last Planner System (LPS) on contractor performance and the timeliness of high-rise building projects. Effective scheduling is crucial in construction, as it aims to minimize process time, waiting time, and inventory levels while ensuring the efficient use of resources. The research is motivated by the frequent delays observed in high-rise building projects during the construction phase. The study employed SPSS to analyze data, revealing that the combined use of CCPM, BIM, and LPS significantly improves contractor performance and project implementation time, with a p-value of 0.000, indicating a strong influence. Specifically, the application of the CCPM method reduced the project timeline from 314 days to 235 days, achieving a 33.4% optimization in time. Additionally, the use of BIM 3D modeling facilitated rapid visualization of building progress across different floors, while the implementation of the LPS method improved the Percent Plan Completed (PPC) value from below 70% to 89.49%. The findings suggest that employing these methods enhances the accuracy of project timelines and reduces delays, offering valuable insights into improving construction project management practices.

Abstract

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a neoplastic condition commonly found in pediatric patients especially that involve B cell (B-ALL). Current treatments revolve around immunotherapy approaches such as Chimeric-Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) and tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). However, flaws in both methods such as low pharmacokinetics, technical limitations, inability to recognize more than one antigen and other side effects remain a predicament to be solved. “immunotherapy”, “pediatry”, “b-all”, “bispesific antibody” and “PEGylated liposomal” were the keywords applied to scientific online databases, such as ScienceDirect, PubMed, dan Researchgate. A total of 25 journals were screened, reviewed and utilized with utmost precision to construct a literature review. Preparation of targeting bispesific antibody (BsAb) is constructed through the formation of chemical bond between the anti-mPEG scFV and CD20, whereas PEGylated liposomal drug nanocarriers is prepared through a covalent bonding chemical reaction. PEGylated drug nanocarriers has nontoxic, immunogenicity, antigenicity, and long half-life properties that increases both the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of anticancer drugs like chemotherapy through increased distribution, accumulation and decrease elimination of the drugs. BsAb will specifically target cancer-specific antigens, such as CD20 in cancer cells to initiate adaptive immune responses. Additionally, the antibody dependent endocytosis properties are a vital part in cancer therapy to increase cellular uptake of the liposome. All in all, the combination of bispesific antibody (BsAb) PEGylated liposomal drug nanocarriers towards B-ALL shows great promise towards the management of B-ALL in pediatric patients.
